  1. I do wonder, though, why doesn't he review any goa-trance?
  2. Tamlin - Spectrogram, Electrypnose - Funked Up and Zybex - Surreal Energy are a few really good psytrance releases from 2008. Although their style doesn't resemble much of Headrooms(except maybe zybex?) and Burn In Noises. But then again, I don't know. I think just saying plain psytrance and then excluding the main styles of psytrance is hard to go suggesting anything from.
  3. Video coupled with the track works well, but as for the track itself.. I don't know...
  4. Eh I have a hard time picking one. I like stuff that just sounds good to me, whether it's SA, Dark Psy, Prog, Suomi or Full-on. I would like to vote for Full-on, because when someone makes very good melodic full-on, it's hard not to love the genre, but in the end, if I take a look at a handful of Full-on, there's just so much boring and unimaginative shit in there...
  5. I'm going to have to agree with you. Colourful is one of the best ways to describe the album, along with fresh. I think this is one of the hidden gems of 2008. This album has soul attached to it. And while I'm mentioning soul, I must mention Playtime Adventure again. It's full of energy and emotion. Beautiful. I do wonder if Tamlin is making new material. It'd be a shame, if he wasn't..
  6. Seriously, give us the MP3. This sounds like goa from the good old days!
  7. I remember watching the first trailer released for Mirrors Edge back in may 2008 and being completely astounded by the theme. Time flew by and finally some artists were mentioned, and there it was, Solar Fields. I knew there was someone special working on the score! Been played the game and listening to the Soundtrack, needless to say, it's magnificent. Solar Fields was the perfect choice for this game and I do hope he will be a part of other future projects in games and movies alike. It'd be interesting to say the least.
  8. This is one of those random albums that I don't listen to much at all, but it's like the perfect music for summer. Those great summer tracks being Space Noodle, Silent Circuit, Stone Shaker, Singularity part 2 and What a feeling?. Theres nothing like the summer sun, mp3 player and 'what a feeling?' heh.
  9. http://psyreviews.net/index.php?option=com...9&Itemid=37 Alien Project "Apologises Unreservedly" For Accidentally Writing Half-Decent Track Ahahahaha, some good stuff in there.
  10. Ok you got me interested. Checking it for the lulz. A-ha, well played, sir!
  11. Marcus Schossow - Swedish Beatballs
  12. This quote at the very end complete ruined the whole thing for me "One thing America has more than any other countries is an entrepreneurs spirit. One thing we have more than any other country is the ability to be innovatives. You know if I was born in Italy I wouldn't be the threat(?) forecaster I am today, because I would have been locked into a culture, of thinking one way." Uh-huh.
  13. As I said, more new school nitzo, the better. I've listened some old nitzo and I find it mostly just really corny/cheezy and bad, but the new school is much more goa-oriented and hardly cheesy. 2009, the new 1997? :drama:
  14. I honestly think every single person who listens to goa-trance should own this, but as everyone knows, quantity is limited and expense is in the skies. Why in the hell won't they re-release it? I WANT IT. Edit: wow nice bump there, mr frozen guy.
  15. Michael Cassette - Cyan Child AHHAHAHAAAHAHA Anti-scarp never let's down, does it..
  16. Happens quite a lot it by the looks of it. The label/arists picks a piece, then it gets resized to be a cover and they slap text on it. It's pretty lame as it's not that hard to play around with the font a little to make it look more decent.
  17. Holy god that was so commercial.. this is not even Full-on anymore. Edit: oh wait, collaborations with Perry Farrel and Jonathan Davis? lol But I do agree on the artworks, they're amusing and well done. But the music itself, meh. We'll see when it gets released. Not expecting much.
  18. I agree with straydog about OOOD. It just comes as insanely repetitious to me and not even the slightest bit of exciting. This compilation has a few extremely good tracks which I do think are worth the purchase alone. Those being New Born who graces this compilation with a wonderful track called Purity, which ironically enough does feel pure for whatever reasons lol. The high pitched soft sounds, melodies and the soft thick bassline are just so good on the ears. Fresh track. Artifact303 - Levitation Device which is without a doubt the best track Artifact303 has made to this day(Yes, trumping Feelings from Opus Iridium). It's banging full-on(Not the psy full-on) goatrance with a wonderful alien atmosphere. And I can't get enough of the melody work at 4:43. It definitely takes us back to the Pleiades, I'm not kidding. it's so spiritual, alien and epic. I hope to hear more of this whenever Artifact303's album gets made. and Amanians - Fireworks. A wonderful dark goa track made of acid power. Awesome. Jikkenteki's and Subra's collaboration is also something one should hear. It's like the perfect mix of 2 artists in my opinion. Very psychedelic piece of music. The rest of the tracks are great as well, no complaints. Although, the odd one's are OOOD's track, which I didn't like very much at all and Artha's Sannjasin which I'm not sure whether it's just ok, good or great..
  19. Hybrid Soundsystem01 - Trifonic - Parks On Fire
  20. I don't care about Kettel being here. All I care about is making Murphy understand, but that is a bit too much for me to handle it seems. He missed every single point I made. And murphy, goddamit, don't quote me. I'm done with you. As for the album, I agree with you. I had never listened to Kettel before Myam James Part 1 and it was the IDM that I really like, but this really doesn't feel like part 1 at all. Good music, but not what I was looking forward to, different style from Part 1.
  21. Bit-Head - Stressed Out Fuck yes :posford:
  22. Woo, I had no idea he had more stuff out. I loved purity so I gotta take a listen to this.
