    Sci-Fi Movies

Yes, really. It's as fucking lame and stupid as a TON of other sci-fi movies, but in this case, you just didn't like it and are singling it out. It will be awesome.
  2. Ok I found another Daze Of Our Lives one Hallucinogen - Solstice 3:32 and onwards, the melody sounds the same as Filteria - Earthrise 2:23 and onwards. Or maybe I'm just imagining it? Can anyone else check it out.
  3. Filteria - Sky Input 01. Operation Pulse 10:34 02. Stars (StarStuff Remix) 09:42 03. Navigate 08:25 04. The Snuggling Snail 09:01 05. Domestic Modulator 09:04 06. Ultimator! 11:03 07. Galactic Rays 09:14 08. Sky Input 07:46 The Grand Masterpiece. The over-enthused words. Operation Pulse Beginning with low rattling synth and progressing higher, going up and down - 0:33 Birds are introduced - 1:06 the kick appears. More layers ensues at 1:35. 2:40 hits and... before you know it, we're on our way to space made of harmonic seas of colours and exploding suns. Epic amounts of layers together with melody work not from this world. The rest is a fascinating journey through places you've never seen before and it is not something to be be missed. The perfect opening for the perfect album. Stars (Starstuff Remix) Stars... stars... stars.... we are star-r-rs. Crystallized soundscapes and grand melodies ensues. We are definitely going through a black hole right now and what I see is not black, but it is endless loops of beautiful blue and white fractal smashups and through the barriers you can see the stars far away. Safe to say, we aren't in the milky-way anymore. Navigate Starting with playful synths and acid lines with a hint of mystical soundscape. Not a long time passes by and we're introduced with the bassline and then onto main melodies. This one is just plain crazy. So many different layers which all are thought-trough throughly. There's not much to say other than... rtrtrtrtrrararararararrararararraraararrarararararararararaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAA. Fuck yes. All I can see is twirling, ultra-sharp, fractals. And not to mention that 6:50 key change that stops everything and then gives us this extremely funky revving sound coupled with a layer of psychedelia. Now that is awesome. The Snuggling Snail The best sample use I have heard. Perfect, just perfect. Look at the previous numbers and mix those with the word playful and you have snuggling snail. Traaakakakakaa tang tang tang traakakakakakaaaa. The rollercoaster, up and down, bassline accompanying the playful effects and melodies is just sheer perfection in chaos. Domestic Modulator Ultimator! Galactic Rays The next three tracks share the same exact awesome fucking wowsome epic and, might I say, über grand, melodies and soundscapes with sharp as hell textures. Galactic Rays being the pinnacle and highlight. ''We're tripping our balls off in this endless sea of fractals and stars, and don't miss home one bit.'' Most epic and spacey goa-trance ever, truly. Sky Input Takes things more slower, but to accommodate it, gives us more emotional, deep and down to ground melodies. This sounds like we've landed on a colourful, but calm, mysterious planet, coupled with a red sun and a blue moon. Great ender! What a ride. <3 an Artists interpretation of Ultimator!'s soundscapes
  4. Filteria - Heliopolis 1 Unfiltered (Moon Rmx) (08:29) 2 Speech Module (09:17) 3 Reflected (10:02) 4 Mind Expansion (10:48) 5 Pyrogen (08:57) 6 Rotate To Vibrate (08:43) 7 Crop Circles - Lunar Civilization (Filteria's Higher Rmx) (10:07) 8 Cloud Kingdom (Solar Fields Rmx) (10:31) Ahh I can't go wrong on this one. Whenever I'm rather bored or just in dire need of music to occupy my brain with, Filteria is the one for the job. Not to say it isn't when I just want to get pumped up like mad! Which for this is the complete best. Twirling wonderful playful powerful and grand melodies coupled with a fat yummy kicks, fast bpm and a ton of accompanying layers, this - along with Sky Input - is the pinnacle of what goa-trance can achieve for me. Not a single other artist, apart from few select Pleiadians tracks, can make me this enthusiastic about their work. I find it hard to write individual descriptions on these tracks, because they only consist of that what I love - as I had stated in the Daze Of Our Lives review thread. They just have it. And while the last track is great, no, wonderful, I still look down on it for bringing downtempo on a crazy awesome uptempo album. I could go down with a comparison of few things though. If you were to ask me, which is better, Sky Input or Heliopolis, I would say neither. They both have their on merits that work for them and make them awesome on their own. Sky Input is far more grand, spacey and trippy, whilst Heliopolis manages to have catchier, more sophisticated melodies and rhythms. Just compare Rotate To Vibrate with Galactic Rays and you'll see what I mean. I wish Filteria would come back and produce another 100% kickass banging goa-trance album, but looking at the big picture, even I can see that it's not going to happen. Why would I want that? Filteria is, was and will be the only one to make this kind of music. The only one. Ah well, at least he graced us the first two masterpieces. So, final thoughts on Heliopolis? Fucking A.
  5. Rhino's covers were always great.. I wish I'd own a few. Man Of The Last 3rd - Spirit

    Sci-Fi Movies

I really feel like I'm one of the only ones who can't bring myself to watch OLD sci-fi movies. You know, black and white ones. They're just plain cheesy and boring to me. Shame.

    Sci-Fi Movies

From that list, Blade Runner, Star Wars, Matrix, Minority Report and The Fifth Element
  8. Wow, now I regret not ordering this one. I read the release thread and everyone was giving a lot of respect for bpc, which I wasn't familiar at all with, then I tried out the samples and they didn't convince me at all. Now, after just 3 full tracks, it's safe to say this is something that I have to own. Beautiful stuff.
  9. Heyy I like Omegahertz. Well, the old stuff from the purple compilation was pretty cheesy, even for my standards - But, for example, Deisis, Strawberry Tale and The Desert Moon are gold and some of the stuff from his album is alright(Expect those horrible singing tracks like you mentioned. I hadn't facepalmed that hard for a while).
  10. http://www.psynews.org/forums/index.php?showuser=1043 He's the guy who runs DAT records, the one that released Crop Circles - Tetrahedron in December 08. Send him a message or something.
  11. Ask Draeke, he will surely know Holy crap the first one 4:30 onwards
  12. At first, I thought this was advertising in disguise, but that's obviously not the case. At second, I thought: "Dear diary..." But, then again, we could have this topic being about immediate dislikes, which, for some reason, grew on you - or vise-versa. Same happened to me on IFO, for whatever reason, first time listening it I felt absolutely nothing and didn't like it one bit, Maia was o k but that's it. A lot later when I had listened quite a lot of full-on, crappy full-on, psytrance and goatrance, I decided to give it a second try, because of the baffling love in the review topic. And what do you know, it was fucking awesome. I wonder why..
  13. That just makes me want them to release the unreleased pack already. I want more Filteria :S
  14. Doesn't sound too bad actually, interested in this now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XrjoOZ_AkPM...feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HT0UuHRP8Xs...feature=related
  15. Are you going to do a new album soon with these more trancey and clubby tracks? Or at least release them one way or another? You're pumping them out crazy fast and they're great to boot.
  16. Just ordered also with Aaand there goes the last of my moneys.
  17. I think ID might cross the line to cheesy at a few occasions, but, honestly, a bit more time on producing and then to proper mastering, they could have CD made of gold in their hands imo. Infinite Dimensions does more than just goa http://www.chemical-records.co.uk/sc/servl...?Track=NUNRG069
  18. That's the weird thing, they have made tons of great stuff (referring to the links) but there hasn't been anything official/proper. Also in cosmogenesis topic I linked to - "So enjoy! You can't be disappointed by this unbelievable artist! I hope he will find soon a label contract." I wonder why it never happened..
  19. Theres been practically no discussion about it, nor reviews, not nothing. Only 1 topic by cosmogenesis here. Infinite Dimensions can make some quality goa-trance(with a small nitzo influence I think), yet it's like this.. what gives? The only track people might even be aware of is the Infinite Dimensions - Far Beyond The Stars track on the free Pyramidal Trancendence compilation Here's a link to a bunch of songs that are playable http://www.acidplanet.com/artist.asp?Songs=179899&t=3315 (check out wizard, it's the best) And here is a link to the whole discography that is playable http://www.infinite-dimensions.co.uk/ Both are low quality streams though, but you can buy the high quality ones for insignificant prices. I would have bought some of them a long time ago but paypal is a no-go, unfortunately. Some youtube links Allegero Obscuro B Minor Zettawatt http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psMIJX4pnD0...re=channel_page
  20. That was in 2004 and full-on still sounds the same to this day... Can someone point me to one of the oldest full-on tracks? I'd like to hear.
  21. Because it's minimal. And on top of it all - not psychedelic.
  22. Or the buyer could save the money from buying second hand cd's and buy new cd's instead. lol
  23. Nah. At that point you will only buy it for the sake of collecting.
  24. It must be an unreleased. I've never even heard a portion of it before. Awesome.
  25. Oh man you make me want to start using my punching bag again ;_; But yeah that was a great way of putting it.
