Thanks for putting up the review topic. I would have but I don't have enough words to justify a review topic. I personally love this Compilation. Every track here is the best from the artist that have decided to be a part of it (Apart from Artifact303 - and that's not saying it's a bad track, just that Artifact303 has this wonderful track called Feelings). Every track is full-on(Actual full-on, not the shitty full-on) goa power with a lot of great sounds tying them together. Pandemonium for example, the best track from his debut is gracing it's glory on this album. Same for Mindsphere although, granted, it's not directly from the album, but if you listen to it and Operation Side from the debut, you recognize thata lot of parts are from it. And the one's I didn't mention, I don't have any gripes with, great tracks. The some odd one is Nolax - Pareidolia, it has this great sound but it's basically 11minutes of it, 2 minutes of actual repeat in the start, while main lead is on repeat the whole time. What was he thinking on this one is beyond me. it could have been better with more time on making it more complex and maybe shorter. It does have a few redeemish qualities, but not enough. By the way Artifact303's Trip To The Sun is a must listen as it has Half Life 2 samples which are used extremely well Too bad the release seemed to have some problems and this is not as recognized as it should imo.

Juno Reactor - Gods And Monster Great album, up until the last 2 tracks. It disappointed me in the sense I felt like I got an incomplete album from Juno. Shakta - Feed The Flame I think this is pretty obvious. While do I do like Daze, a lot, I must agree. As I mentioned, I LOVE Filteria and as Filteria is the only artist that does the music that Filteria does - not seeing him do what he did is disappointing. Still, it's a wonderful album, yes, but it's not what Sky Input and Heliopolis were.

What music are you listening to right now?

Goasia - Crossways Beautiful! -
Wonderful! That's great news. :posford:

There hasn't been much updates on Goasia and just now I checked their myspace, http://www.myspace.com/goasiaproject (Check out 'crossways' by the way, Very nice tune), and it seems they are performing live gigs very active, but what about new material? I know they released a new track on Goa Times Now And Then but that's about it as far as I know. Then again, maybe it's too early to ask since it hasn't been THAT long since the debut came out...

lol I'd buy it.

Juno Reactor - Conquistador II I never noticed the acid sound that comes with the kick.. these headphones make me hear the little details that I never noticed before. -
One of the worst imo Jikooha & Eiji's - My Revolution And Yours remixed into Jikooha - My Revolution And Yours(Filteria's Vive La Revolution Remix) I'm exactly saying it's a bad track, per se, but listen to the first version first and then go to Filteria's version and you'll see what I mean.

Quality full-on!!! :posford: -
I just find it ironic that you point that out when there's Other electronic subforum right beneath this one. But yeah, kettel is awesome.

How much the cover of an album affects you?
Penzoline replied to Ormion's topic in General Psytrance
Even though the mindsphere album's cover is REALLY bad, it's possible I'd still buy it because of the fantastic music. Covers affect how I see the album. I feel like I create a connection with a cover and the music, subconsciously. Like Ormion said.. -
Edit: Oh woops I thought this was a thread in general psytrance. Don't mind me, carry on.

Have to check this one out, really liked the first one.

After first listen. Extremely FRESH. Bits and pieces might take you away from the underwater feeling but this album delivers something completely new and very interesting ideas and melodies. Beautiful piece of work.

Filteria - Operation Pulse Beyond epic. The best album starter out of all albums in my opinion. God I love this. -
Funny thing, just today i was bored and I tried it out on my Creative MuVo for shits and giggles. 20 seconds of fiddling with it and the sound on it was insanely clearer and punchier(I.E. Bass boost). Goddamn, I used the normal EQ setting for a year...

I use these as well, they're really good. How? And almost getting hit by a car is definitely your own fault, not the headphones.

Turned on my ps3, then switched on tv, it was set on a channel which was showing this film. So, I decided to watch a little while if it was good and what do you know, watched the whole thing. It was a really sad, touching film and done extremely well. IMDB plot synopsis: "The true story of Ivan Sanchin, the KGB officer who was Stalin's private film projectionist from 1939 until the dictator's death. Told from Sanchin's view, the sympathetic but tragically flawed hero maintains unwavering faith in his "Master" despite the arrest of his neighbors and his involvement with their daughter, his wife's affair with the chilling State Security chief Lavrentii Beria and her tragic decline, and the deadly political machinations within the Kremlin he witnesses firsthand. Written by Martin H. Booda " Movies like these you won't ever hear about, which is sad because it's a very good one. It was pure coincidence that I watched it and I'm glad I did. 10/10
