Neogoa and Suntrip share some things in common indeed, as you may know I've been doing some artworks for them for a while with Neogoa Design (so we got similar artworks), they're also an important part of Neogoa promotional group within our social network, plus we are releasing and promoting same kind of music, and many of artists who released on Neogoa, appeared on Suntrip CDs and vice versa. If we're speaking about the quality of the product, there is no better place to host this compilation than on Suntrip, not only because they're doing an amazing job with the promotion of this genre, they also tend to have high level of professionality and a friendly attitude and relationship, which unfortunaley, nowdays Goa trance scene needs more.

Regarding the compilation, it will be compiled by me, but ofcourse an important part regarding the track selection will have your own suggestions here on Psynews, aswell as an advices and guidelines by Jos and Mars. I really like to have open relationship with the people who likes Goa trance music as I do, so any kind of feedback, or suggestion is more than welcome - I'm not doing this because of myself or because any kind of gain, except reading your reviews or seeing a YouTube clips from parties where people dance while they're enjoying the music :) As a limited CD release, this compilation should and will be something special, not only because it will feature carefully selected Goa trance music from the golden era of the 2nd wave movement, but because it's not gonna be made just to be another Goa trance compilation out there. I am familiar in some way with the Suntrip's attitude and politics when it comes to compilations and we do share similar approach, both of us are doing our best to bring the compilation as it is our first release, yet trying to give some high quality music by established projects, while on the other hand we're pushing very hard to present and promote some new talents. So, that's one of the reasons why we ain't gonna rush with this compilation, not only because the busy release schedule, but because we want to have it PERFECT, so with our mid-tempo pace we will slowly keep you posted with the updates regarding the track selection and release date.

Epoch Of The Terrans?

What can I say about the name? Well firstly I dislike any kind of Goa trance compilation which got 'Goa' in it's name nowdays. It's a great promotional/marketing trick, but there are so many diverse themes, motifs and names out there that could fit better than just Goa. I know, you might ask me 'why do you call your label Neogoa than? Well the answer is simple, Neogoa was the name of the website which was founded with goal to promote newschool or 2nd wave of Goa music and the first compilation was released under the url tag of the website 'Neogoa(dot)tk'. The name really doesn't have any special meaning except it stands as a tribute to the limitless human capability to be awesome and talented in so many ways, and yet to be a small and tiny, but very special part or a being(s) in the Universe.

If you guys got anything to ask or just give some suggestion, please do, Anoebis and I will keep this topic updated!

Can't wait. Artwork & philosophy behind this looks/sounds awesome. I don't have any neo goa as I prefer physical format. No chance it could be a double cd?

There is always a chance, but honestly I prefer single-CD compilation format, even that makes the selection process much harder, but as I mentioned earlier, the point is to get the finest music on that single disc and to have it at one place. Thanks for your comment tho!

Nice one.

Good look with this.

I am not much for download only, not because of the format as most stuff I buy, rip and listen to like that anyway, as I never give it the attention I give something I have parted money for (no, paying for downloadds doesn't feel like I've paid for it: no physical media and paid by credit card) so I look forward to buying this and seeing what Neogoa is all about :D

That's the case with BlackStarrFinale. Since his Rabbit track on Goa Overdose, he didn't released anything weak. We could easily pick any track from AURYN and it will fit the compilation, but A New Name with it's lenght, optimal does of power and interesting melodic work, went on the CD.

Love that song, but imo Star Cloister is by far the best.
