Dear Goa-heads,

I present you first sample pack made by me, all drums and percs already tested on various dancefloors around the world, some of them for almost a decade... and it's for FREE!

Original samples from legendary Roland's machines such as: JD 800, JD 990, Juno 106 (Typhoon), JV 80, JV 1080, MC 09, MC 303, R-8, R-5, SC-88, SH-09, SH-101, System-100, TR-505, TR-606, TR-707, TR-808, TR-909... heavily processed. Some of them made with modern tools so they can fit to more modern styles of Psychedelic Trance genre.

These drums are taken from all mine released and unreleased tracks. In pack you can find samples from mine lately released album 'Imba - First Encounter' at Suntrip Records.

254 samples in total in 16 bit WAV:
- 64 Kicks
- 60 Open Hats
- 58 Snares
- 56 Closed Hats
- 1 Bongo, Clave & Ride Cymbal

Looks like I have the original (unprocessed) samples as part of a huge drum samples package I downloaded some years ago (at least those Roland machines match with the sample folders I have) :)

Maybe I'll get some use of these, probably not...because inspiration: zero :DD

Are the samples sampled by yourself originally, or are they redistributed from elsewhere? If so, you should not rename them to yourself, and you should mention the source. That's just good practice. But a nice gesture anyway, appreciated!

Some of them were original Roland which are pitched, stretched, EQed, compressed... but most of them are by myself :)

Sorry man, but that's a big lie.. Most of these samples have been around for like 20+ years, at least the originals.. They were originally on the cdrom.com ftp site ages ago as part of the Hornet Archive and were meant for trackers. More of them are also from Hyperreal.org.. I recognize a bunch of them, some of them can still be found here:
ftp://ftp.scene.org/pub/mirrors/hornet/music/samples/
ftp://ftp.scene.org/pub/resources/music/samples

http://machines.hyperreal.org/samples.html

Please be honest.

As i wrote some of them are original samples but I never use original, there is always heavy processing. Nothing is illegal here, I did not take a single cent.

It's meant to help young producers and producers with less experience to achive better sound. This is my contribution to scene and colleagues.

Not that i have to explain to you or anyone anything but I did just now. But before attacking someone next time get informed first.

I spent years to make them and weeks going trough 50+ projects and doing exports so i can put them in one nice package and you call this a lie? Thanks and bye!

It seems that what people are getting at here is that the sounds weren't originally sampled by you. I don't think anyone's accusing you of illegalities*, or denying the amount of work you put into processing the sounds to fit your own productions. The original source of the samples is just left a bit unclear.

* edit: as long as the EULA of the original samples doesn't explicitly forbid redistribution and/or reprocessing.

Nah no one's saying you did anything illegal, and those samples have been around so long they're surely in the public domain, they were released for free use for everyone ages ago.  I just meant to be a bit more forthcoming about the origins, since you kind of made it sound like you sampled them from your own equipment..

And I am informed, if I wasn't I wouldn't know about those samples.

It's just a peeve of mine when people take credit for someone elses work, but as you said you've done a bunch of processing and stuff.

Anyways, it's great and generous of you to make your edited versions available to everyone, so thank you for that..

When I click on download here nothing happens...

I downloaded it from the Suntrip website not long ago again after migrating to a new laptop. Try downloading it directly there instead.  I use the snares and hihats everyday! So thanks Imba and Suntrip!

These samples work great in tandem with Yesod’s goa kick drums. :)
