  2. Hello everyone! I present to you my latest psybient single. This time, I dived deep into glitchy psychedelic soundscapes and connected them with traditional Croatian melodies. The whole track possesses a mystic quality of sorts, and it's filled with melodies and ambiences that paint the atmospheres beyond time. click here to check it out --- https://klaada.fanlink.to/prescient-echoes
  3. Covid-19 Blah blah blah... Been away for over a year Blah blah blah... Let's talk about the things that matter...Music Androcell - Chronicle Yeap, that's right. It's time for Tyler Smith to enter the few artists that are part of Digital Reprints' catalogue. I first "saw" rather than "heard" Tyler's art through the cover of the excellent compilation Natural Born Chillers. Although I am not a fan of faces in cover art in general, there was something in that one that really struck me. That made me dig a little deeper and was surprised to find out that the artist responsible had released an album as well. After my first listen of Emotivision I knew he would be up there, with the rest of my favourite artists on the Psydub/Psychill genre. Since then, he never failed to deliver a high quality, emotional release time and again. Only problem being that the last physical release was in 2014. A remixed album and several EPs that followed after were always on a digital format only. Which is a shame really, for us, the people that take pride showcasing their collection of those magical, silver discs. Don't worry though because I (and you) am here to put things right. Four discs on an 8pp digipack format with artwork and layout provided by Tyler himself. Three of the discs will comprise material never before released on physical format and one will be a collection of tracks from various compilations. The music will be presented in a chronological format showcasing the evolution in Androcell's sound. Please follow the link for more info and to pledge. Project is already funded and only 20 copies left. http://kck.st/3ieso0s

  7. Artist: Symbolico Title: Perceiving All| Date: 20 March, 2020 Label: Self Release Tracklist:- 1. Gaian Portal 2. Perceiving All 3. Tribal Future 4. I'm Free 5. Seeing Auras 6. Dreamy Face 7. The Answer 8. Who Are You 9. Out Of The Blue Heart No one does it quite like Symbolico, if you haven’t heard Connectika then it’s well worth it to get an idea of exactly how good he is at looping, chopping, reversing and turning those sweet rhythms around. Love to feel percussion yea? Or save yourself the listen and just listen to this one, it will give you the same clue as to what a little mix wizard this guy is. Perceiving All is the kind of album that belongs in the cloudless sky of a bright beach somewhere. Briming with sunshiny vibes Perceiving All pulls off another Symbolico wobbly and broken dub special. Psychedelia? Check Rhythms? Check Chopp’d n Screwed samples, spirals n’ beats? Check Check Check. It’s a travesty that right now we can’t bounce around in a big pit on a spring day to this collection of jams. Symbolico has added a more Reggaeton-esque dub feel to this album that goes just so well with Riesling and sunshine. It still has the weird groovy touch of a Symbolico album but with even more wild sections like the spirals in ‘The Answer’ and the laid back positive vibes of 'Perceiving All’ just to name two. You got psychedelic bass for the lazy hammock and psychedelic bass for jumping around in the sand while pretending your arms are floating on sound. Symbolico’s last album left me feeling like I had heard something special and Perceiving All is no different. Favourites: Tribal Future, The Answer, I'm Free https://symbolico.bandcamp.com/album/perceiving-all

  18. Reflections of memories and dreams, all those stories and good hopes... Close your eyes and recall some of those mystical moments that are left in the distant past ... Everything has changed, except the silent, still witness within us. Experience of change is only possible on the canvas of the stillness, as well as the light is only real on the canvas of the dark. The change itself, with all the fractal worlds of all possible, always changing forms, is like a tiny little invisible dot on the surface of the vast omnipresent land of stillness. When you realize this, you're free. There's nothing to fear, nothing to lose, nothing to get, and a lot to give. You're free to give. You give, you live.... Do you remember? This album is dedicated to those mystical moments when we're not looking from the mind, when we are what we really are, like if there's no time. If it takes time, it's the mind. If it takes no time, it's Nirvana... Peace. Released March 6, 2019 Album art by Daniel Spacek. Bandcamp - https://ambientium.com/album/city-of-memories

  20. Artist: Various Title: Lurve Connection Vol. 1 Label: Mystic Sound Records Release: September 14, 2018 Tracklist:- 1. False Identity - A State Of Delighted Astonishment 2. Antandra - You Make Me Feel So 3. Shantam - Fly VS Glass 4. Oglob - Nur The Flur 5. Maiia - Lazy Sunset 6. Planet B - Clouds 7. Ben Rama - Initiate (Jeremy’s Aura Remix) 8. Envoka - Ossified Hyoid 9. Nibana - Space Bumper 10. Tuatara - I Forgot To Tell You Something Cute With Mystic Sound Records aiming for Timewarp Records level of output it can be hard to find that special one. Too many choices, or as Alvin Toffler would say, Overchoice (Oh Alvin). And who can blame us, with our ever increasing high standards, insatiable lust for something new and really believing that we deserve to be treated to something special it's a hard dig out there. Well dig no deeper for that special feeling. Jeremy and his Aura has got you covered with 10 dubby, bassy, mystical, beautiful and lovely tracks that will take you to that special place. The place where False Identity brings you a warm tea, wait did he just slip something from an eyedropper into it? No time to think as you are eased into the mood with a soft foot rub, showing you the care and attention that you've been craving, the tea is delicious. Antandra Comes along give you the emotional connection and empathy you've been daydreaming about for so long, to let you know that he is there to listen, that he cares. Feelings are good and all, but Shantam wants to get funky and decides against the traditional episode of Netflix, reaching for the fruit bowl and cream, but there are only oranges and rockmelon, before you know it you're covered in citrus and the least sexy of the melons, are those oranges smiling? Now that the clothes are off Oglob lights the candles and comes out with the room temperature papaya juice and a contract for a pair of antique bronze snap buttons, that de-escalated, are these grandma's snap buttons? Maiia brings the hot wax and dips your toes in it one by one why the toes? you think to yourself, deep deep down you feel like you can remember why, if only you could remember how to remember. Planet B Bursts into the room to raunch things up a bit, with a text book of with words dripping from the cover, no shoes and socks that will soon become your gag, why do they smell of cigarettes you ponder? Eyes watering but with a fresh nicotine hit you glance over to see a bartender shaking away, you wipe a tear from your eye and see Ben Rama pouring thick dull sludge into a glass, or is he pouring a glass into the sludge? He sprinkles it with a hint of Jeremy's Aura and sends it over, straight away you smell it, rockmelon and papaya. Now there is a bear. Where the fuck did a bear come from? Did Envoka really bring a bear? This was meant to be a nice night. Someones at the door, oh no, oh hell no, Nibana with a basket full of Rockmelon, even the bear is staying the fuck away from all these melons. You're tired, you need sleep, mouth wash, a shower and someone to whisper lullabies into your ear. Tuatara is in the bed, covered in actual Tuatara's. Some have shed in your bed, you don't care, you march outside to replay your Lurve connection Vol. 1 album on repeat, curl up in a ball and allow yourself to be spooned while the wall melts into the floor. https://mysticsound.bandcamp.com/album/lurve-connection-vol-1 If you're having trouble finding a worthy downtempo, psybass and dub album then look no further. Every track here is a standout and completely different from the last. The only track I didn't like was Tuatara's closer, it felt like he could have toned down the sweeps and psychedelia by about 10. Regardless it's a wonderful album that I 100% recommend going through and buying to support some funky, trippy lurve music. definitely going to be in my top 10 downtempo list. https://mysticsound.bandcamp.com/album/lurve-connection-vol-1
  21. hello everyone just like last year, i've noticed that i've picked up much less downtempo music than uptempo this year. seeing that most of my favourite releases were recommended in last year's thread, i've decided to open a new one for 2015. i guess it will also be useful to others in preparation for the upcoming best of 2015 poll. so what are your favourite downtempo/psychill/psydub albums/compilations from 2015? i'll start off with: Ott - Fairchildren (not quite as good as his previous albums, but it's still ott) Illuminus - Sweep Dreams (psydub with half of hux flux. similar to globular but more consistent/not as daring) Phobium - Khronikos (downtempo, one 50min long track)
  22. Mindspring Music Presents: Spiral Minded - Spectral Splatter Available on Bandcamp Spiral Minded is back with a psytronic implosion of enchanting instrumentations and deep grooves in his latest release, Spectral Splatter, accompanied by a series of satisfying psytrance remixes by Klaada, Sapien, and TRS. Sprinkled with a vibrant assortment of noggin bobbin synth worlds, this six-track orchestra is covered from heart to soul in professionally crafted dubscapes. These wobbling concoctions give birth to a unparalleled smoothness that can turn any listener into ice; it’s just that cool. Bob your head up and down to a rhythmic paradise of arpeggiating dreams and bassy melodies. These tracks are primed and ready to shake the earth at any moment.
  23. Mindspring Music Presents: Psychoz - Alien Agent: The Remixes Available on Bandcamp A stunning group of nine psydub talents band together in this remix extravaganza hosted by Mindspring’s very own Psychoz. Self-explanatorily titled, “The Remixes,” this innovative collection of glitchy tracks reapproach several fan favorites from the dubby composer, Zoran Zlatkovski, and his bass-filled album, Alien Agent. The chillaxing glitchscapes of this reggaesque creation are covered with diverse rhythms, deep atmosphere, and bright melodies, offering a well-balanced mixture of dance floor tunes and calming compositions. As a combination of spiritual electronica with live instrumentals and head-bobbing beats, expect a satisfying journey through oriental sounds and newschool temple dub.

    VA - Porta Apertus

Title: Porta Apertus Artist: Various Label: Portal Borealis Records Date: Feb 2018 Tracklist:- 1. MightyOak - Blinking Into Nothingness (07:08) 2. Wattsun - Morphosis (05:44) 3. Drumspyder - Vlashko Horo (Kousk Remix) (04:43) 4. Fat Elvis & Fat Pat - Fat Pelvis (04:06) 5. Alyag - OptiMystic (04:36) 6. Metadream - Abyss (05:53) 7. npc89 - Time (04:04) 8. Fractal Frequencies - Embracing Darkness (08:05) Keep it smooth, keep it psychedelic, keep it groovy. This is the mantra I get from this compilation. ranging across a series of psychedelic genres Portal Borealis have brought us a listening sensation. They've also put themselves on Tsoti's radar and opened me up to atlas 3 other albums from them. Each song is wildly different from the last and showcases absolute talent. Away we go Blinking Into Nothingness: A beautiful start and introduction to the album. The song progressing into deep dubby atmospheres that are all to easy to be lost in Morphosis: An emotional instrumental groove quickly envelopes you as you get drawn down into your amygdala. the instruments really are beautiful and exquisitely designed. I get filled with a mixture of introspective thoughts as the song progresses. Vlashko Horn (Kousk Remix): A thick tribal intro turns into a thick tribal bassy thang. The organic sounds are wonderful, the high's have me clicking along while the lead has me swaying. A perfect track for the jungles of the amazon, a trip down the nile or a dark night in the Rockies. A favourite on the track. Fat Pelvis: Fat Elvis & Fat Pat combine names to bring us Fat Pelvis. A dark dubby dreamscape that'll send chills through you as you walk home alone at 3 in the morning. Wear a jumper and thermals for this one. OptiMystic: Lovely track name that brings the mood back up with an absolute banger of psychedelic influenced drum and bass... The only drum and bass Tsotsi likes. This track is energy from start to finish. another favourite. Perfect for Street fighter influenced battles against your mortal enemy. Abyss: Metadream brings us an energy charged dark track. Psychedelic as all hell. Time: I gotta disagree with the premise. From the moment we are born our body starts to live. We open ourselves up to experiences and stimuli that we have the choice to engage with and grow from. Still, very relaxing track with lovely piano work and subtle scratching, the final vocal sample is uplifting like the rest of the track. love it. Embracing Darkness: a slower more ambient outdo that cools you down and leaves you in a complete state of mellow rest. The vocals are lovely, the instruments are lit what more could you want. All in all I can't recommend this compilation enough. It's variety of tracks stands out and carries you along for a complete start to finish listening experience. The track placement is well considered and appreciated. With a Name Your Price attached you really have nothing to lose. https://portalborealis.bandcamp.com/album/porta-apertus
