  1. Thank you! ;-) Now I just need to find a label to release this :-D
  2. If one government that is elected by its citizens can boycott a whole nation I don't see why I as a voter wouldn't be able to do the same. Just look how USA boycotts Iran & Russia. EU trying to impose embargoes on Russia etc. Once the violence in Palestine stops for good (and I mean when Palestine gets accepted to UN as a sovereign & independent country) I might want to change my attitude but until then we all know that Israel will use all it can to acquire even more weapons for the future because this conflict won't end until Palestine gets a larger portion of the land back. If Israeli officials think they can win by ethnic cleansing, I sure hope they have a pre-purchased ticket for Mars because the world won't sit idle any longer. As for the conflict itself, I'll just remind you that Israel (in modern era) didn't exist prior to 1947 and it was created violently by foreign superpowers, Israelstarting to exile Palestinians on day 1. Something that was born in violence can't live in peace for too long. The only solution in 21st century would be that Israel gives Palestinians a chance to build their country and try to build a better region. But, I believe the Israeli leaders won't accept that for two reasons: that way they would have to start an international aggression which would draw its consequences in the Security Council, and second, that way they wouldn't have the villain on the opposing side (Hamas) to use as an excuse for land-grabbing and violent expansion of their borders. And let's not be fooled that this is an act of ONE MAN or a group of people in Israel, from what I've seen there is a vast majority of Israelis who are calling for violence and killing, sending messages on rockets, children writing their greets to Gaza children not by sending love letters but by writing awful things on the bombs that are launched the same night to kill them. Heck, even GIRLS go to military in Israel. As in, obligatory. How is that for a peaceful nation? If a Goa trance artist (who is supposed to be an open-minded PLUR person sending love through his tracks) calls for military aggression just imagine what a conservative people of Israel have in their minds? And FYI Israel is ruled by a conservative party chosen by the citizens of Israel. And yet we see how Israeli government accuses Palestinians for choosing their counterpart in Gaza called Hamas. So, to put things on the table, Israelis are allowed to choose a bloodthirsty regime on their elections, but Palestinians aren't allowed to choose a shady organization for their leadership. I don't support Hamas either, they have their own share of blood on their hands but one thing is 100% clear: Hamas was born as a counter-measure against Israeli aggression and not the other way round. For the end, before some people start calling me anti-semitic or whatever, I don't think that this conflict has to do much with race or ethnicity, it's pure land grabbing war and a severe lack of human empathy. This conflict has been around for too long and it has to be stopped before it gets really too late. I am 100% sure that there are peaceful Israelis who want to see this conflict end as much as everyone else does, but unfortunately their number is not big enough to pull the handbrake in this case. This madness needs to stop for I believe we're seeing the last threshold in the region being breached. I just don't want to live through another war, in this case a world war. As Richpa said, living through one war was pretty much enough for a lifetime.
  3. As I just said back on FB, this artwork is freaking awesome! ;-) The cover & complete art on Epoch of the Terrans was truly amazing but you know I love greeeeeen more than purple so... :-) I think this one wins for a mere difference of 0.01 points :-D
  4. https://soundcloud.com/arronax/mirza-aljic-butter-n-honey I am not sure if this is what you're seeking but I tried something similar in this track. Give it a shot and tell me what you think.
  5. I'll just say this: When Filipe Santos wished those horrible things to Mars we were mostly all united to call him (and rightfully so) crazy and block his presence on Facebook etc. When some artist writes that Israeli army is a heroic army and yet we see how that army massacres innocent civilians among which there are probably even people listening to Goa trance, we should apply the same standard. At least that's how it works in my world.
  6. I've noticed the same attitude both with Afgin and some other Israeli artists myself, and I completely agree it's sad to support killing of civilians no matter which side they're on. I have personally decided to break any contact with anyone who supports the bombing of Gaza. I don't give a shit if I'm not gonna make any progress in my Goa career but I'm not going to Israel ever in my life. Probably no one cares, but I don't care either. I just couldn't imagine myself partying while just a few miles away someone keeps bombing children to bits and pieces. The aftermath of Israeli attacks is 300+ dead children only this time, not mentioning the previous 50+ years of war in that region... I don't give a fuck if they had all the right in the Universe to bomb someone, they don't have the right to bomb civilians under any circumstances. So yeah, welcome to the reality where PLUR is only an empty bombshell.
  7. Thank you for your feedback Draeke! :-) As for the CDs from 2005, I'm afraid there were like 100 copies and the music wasn't pro at all, as a matter of fact I was only starting to learn about production at that time :-) Believe it or not, I have one last CD with me and that's about it, I have no idea where the other 99 are xD It wasn't anything special, but if you're really interested to hear how it sounds I could send you the download link. Once again, thank you for your interest in my music, cheers!
  8. The festival was one of the most awesome music experiences of my life. So much quality in music, and so much positive energy around the whole place. It was awesome meeting so many nice people in one place, I really hope these kind of gatherings will become a tradition because we Goa freaks have shown that it is possible to listen (almost) exclusively to Goa trance for 5 days in a row :-)
  9. Of course, as I said, it all depends on one's taste :-) I love "WoS" when it's properly constructed, it can be truly awesome.
  10. Thank you for your interest in the album, I'm happy to see nice comments of course :-) As for the production part, I must say I rarely (and I mean rarely) use compression on acid layers and melody layers. I try to limit the dB output by reducing resonance where it can be achieved in order to avoid peaking, some folks may consider it as "crude" or amateurish but it's one of those things I prefer doing. It may prove to be a nightmare in some cases for the mastering professionals but I try to work on avoiding unnecessary noise in each sound that I stream through the mix channels. So, yeah, with some proper equalizing and a few simple tricks it's possible to avoid compression and get a solid sound without too much work on the sound itself. And, of course, as Richpa said in his post above, sometimes the simple approach is way better than adding zillion of layers (although many of my projects have like 100+ patterns lol), but I guess it all depends on the personal taste. You'll probably notice that each of my tracks is distinctive and the sound constantly evolves, the repetition factor is very low due to my wish that each part of the track is unique and recognizable. I hope this lengthy post was useful to you! :-)
  11. You've got my support, as always. I'll try to listen through all of the releases in the coming days again and offer my suggestion after that.
  12. My condolences to his family and his friends. I never met him, but from what other people said, I conclude he was a very nice person. May he rest in peace.
  13. Well my last intention here was to defend his actions, I wasn't referring to drugs as the single cause of it, more like a tool to express his untamed personality. And again, I'll say that I gladly avoid people who do encourage and maintain drug use because it's plain wrong in my eyes. It's a matter of personal attitude of each of us and I won't bother to discuss personal taste. But that's a totally new topic, so I won't go that far. As for the whole mess, I think it's quite sad that this small scene has to suffer through these silly games... It's like we're in some damn reality show and someone needs publicity over drama and childish act. It's beyond me. I would understand a disagreement about some things, but this has gone way too far and beyond reasoning.
  14. I can't say anything more than I said on Facebook, his brain is obviously fried by drugs... I really really avoid people who do drugs, for one simple reason: they will eventually end up like Filipe. And maybe I would actually understand that he needs help if it wasn't for his harassment about Mars' illness. Why would someone say such foul things out of nowhere? It can't be just that he's stuck on a bad trip, it's far worse than that...
  15. Awesome review, hahahahah, I laugh out loud every time I read Mike's reviews... And yeah, I'm eagerly waiting for the release, have been waiting all this time Previews sound really promising
  16. I loved all the tracks, but my favorite is the one from the 2nd video Acid is always good!
  17. Nice! The artist list is simply amazing! And finally I will get to hear Travma - Tesla with a new mastering! Hooray!
