  1. A friend of mine who is into folksy jam bands like The Cat Empire just got himself a record player and I'm tempted to get it as a faux gift for him just so he can play it for me as a courtesy.
  2. Working on it Some weeks away still.
  3. It was classic Arronax style with big charged up drops and that beautiful energised lead that he uses. But not in the hardcore 'Crossing The Rubicon' album style. More melodic, a little more melody in the background. I really liked them. If you want a good time check his retro mix of First Contact. Shit's crazy https://arronax.bandcamp.com/track/first-contact-retro-mix
  4. Jesus what a ride. Hiding this as I read it in an airport.
  5. I didn't even know he had more than Crossing The Rubicon. Is it out there to be found on the net or did you get special access? And what style? Crossing the Rubicon is one of the most energetic albums I have. Is it similar style or in a different vein?
  6. Awesome release, favourite from the sub-label so far. Anyone who likes Artha or Hallucinogen should dig this.
  7. Look whose been busy releasing and remastering in 2021
  8. https://cronomi.bandcamp.com/track/psychodystopia This track is just
  9. i finally pulled it together and got it done.

  11. Hey btw you might already be all over this but.... I figured it wasnt released yet but just reread the description above. It isn't showing up on bandcamp, not via the link above (which takes you to vol. 1) or on the "more releases" section of the label page. Can't find it elsewhere on the net either.
  12. Good to see you back here and digging into some of the new spacey releases too. Welcome back. That is all I've got for now.
  13. Awesome to see the follow up to Vol.1 Loved the quality of the last release
  14. Well, as a matter of fact. . . Cronomi Records and Globox! It's certainly a buy from me.
  15. It's a pain for labels and artists to have to deal with this pesky paradox, especially amplified by the social media algorithms that train us to mostly comment on the negatives of life rather than the good stuff. I always hope this doesn't discourage producers and the like. I see Suntrip doing amazing stuff and probably diverging from the norm more than they used too which is particularly hard given the expectations. For me I don't see this album as more of the same. What even is more of the same with a label like Suntrip? That being said, I want to like this specific release but haven't thrown enough time into listening to it and haven't been pulled in by any of the tracks I've played just yet. So what am I even doing here? Nice to see this release getting lots of attention.
  16. Ah man, I feel like I should get banned for this. Ephedra's Bassline is plenty strong. Stronger than Vodka even.
  17. Ooh maybe our boy Ufomatka https://cronomi.bandcamp.com/track/drifting-across-the-universe
  18. I mean I don't want to place any undue pressure on anyone. But it's almost 23:00 over here and boy would this release be nice to listen to sometime in the next 23 minute. Ooooh papi that would be nice.
  19. So there may very well be nothing worse than human beings endless quest to categorize everything that language allows us too. And when we run out of language for categories, we make more language! Cool and fun! So if we could pick any mixture of words to categorize 'new school goa' artists into any group that we wanted, who and where would we put people? Cosmic Goa Psy-H Project Median Project Nova Fractal Grimy Goa Ufomatka Dark/Heavy Goa Morphic Resonance Ka-Sol Cydonia Where do people like Ephedra, Innerzone and EVERYONE else fit in the never ending catalogue of categories.
  20. Awesome review. Reignited my interest in this release by reading it, I can feel the energy coming through. They were going to include A Noble Prize? Dayum that woulda been cool. I think that track would have fit on just fine personally.
  21. @AstralSphinx I've relistened to Anima Mundi and realised that my recommendations were not even close. Maybe Crossing Mind and Ypsilon were the closest. I recently stumbled upon this one and maybe it fits the mould - https://bluehoursounds.bandcamp.com/album/blue-ep - Although the mastering could perhaps have been improved.
  22. I would think a remaster. A lot of her tracks are being remastered, some released on the cosmic treasure album recently-ish. That was Vol.1 so maybe a couple extras out there.
  23. On this point. For me it was probably the least memorable from the album. I got a huge rush from all the other tracks on the album but nothing from LSD.
  24. The number one pick for me would be Crossing Mind - The Inner Shift. I find I get really lost and deep in their melodies and tracks. Pretty floaty euphoric stuff. I can sleep, meditate or dance to this album Ypsilon 5 - Binary Sky is close to anima mundi, in particular the track Paranormal I found Nova Fractals - Fractal Landscape to be fitting the bill. A little more computerized but still in that territory. Goasia as well. Let's just go with - Dancing With The Blue Spirit. Although it really only gives me that hit on the first 1 or 2 listens and wears a little thin thereafter. And at the risk of telling you more of what you already know. Synsun - The Sound of Cosmic Lifeforms (probably not the exact style your after but still having some of the aspects) Finally 2 of my favourite tracks that both happen to be from the same Space Dock Records - Goa Trance Legacy album Goasia - Polar Lights Hypnagogia - Cosmic Interference These tracks certainly fit the bill. . . I think
