Not much, hence my question. Like a lot of people, I got addicted to screens. Back in 2012-2013 I used to spend a lot of time on the internet but the feeling was different, back then you were considered a no lifer, while now it is the norm. Still you didn't have that much content, everything felt fresh, now... but still addicted I am. Spend a lot of time on Youtube watching random stuff. I was wondering if some people managed to disconnect completely from the internet. I did read some books since last year, novels (only 2 actually), and informative books on life, psychology. Recently read The Tao Te Ching. Also bought https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zhuangzi_(book) should start reading it but now in my 40s I don't seem to feel joy much in life. I also once in a while try a new bottle of rum. Most of you probably have a job, some don't (best of luck, or congrats to you). What do you do of your free time?

Saying young stupid is probably harsh, sure you get more wisdom when you grow up but at the same time the kind of reviews you wrote sounded genuine and spontaneous, coming from the heart. When we grow up in this society we become less and less genuine, we basically say what others want to hear, and what is acceptable socially, not what we really think. Don't see why your review was bad as long as it was how you felt towards this album at the time you wrote it.

7.5 / 10 for me, after reading the first 2 pages of review I was expecting so much more. Good, but overrated in my opinion. Only track 4 sounds special to me.

Wish I could have said thanks to the Russian spammer for bumping this, but I listened 15 minutes and it was enough, I honestly wonder why this album is even on this forum, it has nothing related to psytrance, it's club progressive trance, and I read that Armin van Buuren had mixed one of these tracks in a State of Trance mix. Not my thing anyway.

Let's be honest, Goa Trance truly emerged around 1993-94 and started dying in 2000, that's about 6 or 7 years of peak popularity. Then it came back around 2006-07, and now we are in 2025, that's almost 20 years of what we used to call new school Goa. Do you think Goa Trance evolved much in that time? After so long it's not surprising to see it decline, it's a natural phenomenon. Listen to a random Goa Trance album from 2023 and tell me how different it is from a 2013 album...

I see Utopia track was mentioned, I never understood why people like it, the main melody sounds so random, like when I used to make random melodies on Rave Ejay, I would come up with such melody, Utopia sounds so uninspired.

Your obsession towards that album, and Astral Projection is general, is suspect.
