  1. I need to copypaste here what the sleepy part of LD (Sasa Precanica) is saying in facebook as a feedback: A song changed Anu K. Rasku life, and she became what we never had before,a true and dedicated fan.She shoved us what many people couldn't make in their lives,to follow instincts and feelings no matter what will happen! She decided to organize a party, for the first time and she gave us something that most of organizers could just learn from her. With help of Matti Aronen, awesome guy with also big heart organised Neogoa records party, where awesome musicians like Janne Siipilehto aka Profetia shoved us how goa is played alive,Kristian Nebula took us to the meltdown point,Jerome Lesterps put an acid in our mouth and Lukas GoaTree Bartosek made us running like a hunted deers! And all the people there, thank you for dancing, you are the energy! The only thing that was missing are two dear friends Mirza Arronax Aljić and Ivan Parić,the one who wears the crown of Neogoa Records!Be sure to follow Neogoa, beacuse it's the hottest uprising label on the scene! And once again thank you Anu and all involved, you made a mark on our hearts!
  2. Thanks so much @ Oopie for the link I will read it during Christmas holidays I think the whole Neogoa crew is interested in this also now that Finland has a big meaning to us
  3. Tim Duster told me also I should read it. Wonder where to get it..
  4. I think it must be this Ior Bock guy of Finland who arranged the first party. And here we have this location @Gumbostrand! Thank you so much for the info @ulmehagen: this is why I love psynews so much: someone always knows!
  5. We had Neogoa 5 Year Anniversary party in Helsinki, Finland two nights ago preliminary to which I and Proxeeus were interviewed in a psytrance radio programme Back To Mad. We chatted a lot in the studio outside the broadcast and I got this very interesting new info that the first goa trance party in the world was held in Finland in late 1980's. This was the knowledge of the radio host Tim Duster. Can anyone who knows history contribute?
  6. Here's the fb event link for the radio show. It is already tomorrow! https://www.facebook.com/events/479724505522245/
  7. Yeah! I am so glad you decided to become a member of Psynews and especially of "Finnish goamafia" here We have this new members' welcome topic: don't hesitate to introduce yourself!
  8. What a treat to sink in with all these! Thank you again for this contest Psynews
  9. I am glad to inform that Proxeeus and Neogoa Records along with Goa Trance Lovers Finland (myself as a party organizer) will be featured in a psytrance radio programme Back To Mad @ Bassoradio http://livetaajuus.fi/radio/bassoradio/Wednesday 18.11.2015 22.00-24.00 p.m. Finnish time (UTC +2). The radio show is preliminary to Neogoa Rec 5 Year Anniversary Party in Helsinki, Finland 20.11.2015. Tune in for Proxeeus interview first time in Finland along with his selected tracks
  10. @Paul Eye: with your experience and history in the scene I'd never think you would produce any "half-assed" text. Don't be too hard on yourself. I have seen your comments underneath reviews. And you betcha I was thinking of e.g. you when I thought about the potential reviewers
  11. I have been thinking lately why the reviewers are just a few. Can we do something about that? Because producers and labels really want feedback and I think it would come faster if more ppl would take the challenge to write a review. But it requires a "climate change", maybe, to bring more encouraging attitude towards the new reviewers in order for them to have the courage to try. To make a review of course needs knowledge and objectivity and it is not for everybody, but I still think there are good writers here more than just those few. One important thing about a review is to start a discussion of the release and I think not every single detail has to be covered in the original review. At this point I also want to thank our all-time reviewers of using their valuable time and effort to benefit the community. In my opinion Label news and announcements & review section are the most important areas in this forum.
  12. This goes off topic now but I have been thinking of where the hell did ya get the idea of me rating Finnish goa 10. That must be The Faithealers samples but well deserved: the guys are legends. Generally speaking I should hype whatever good is in the Finnish scene because I have Goa Trance Lovers Finland. Unfortunately most of the stuff is import stuff.
  13. No you didn't. You did a favor to me. First time I felt like a stupid bimbo on this forum. If I really sound like rating every doggone release 10 that's has to change, hehe. Btw I don't remember commenting any Finnish release at all. What are they anywayz? Some Nebula of course is good but not in my top favorites. I have hyped Swedish forest, though.
  14. heh, thanks for being honest. But there's a difference bw a review vs. hype as a normal listener and commenting maybe like this: All neogoa 10/10 All Finnish releases 10/10 All Filipe's releases 10/10 By lowering the bar i meant that more ppl should try to make a review and be ambitious about it, objective, too. It is not fair that just few guys are "trusted" reviewers. How do we know about anyone's skills if the message is that the bar is so high that it is hard to try. What happened to Antic?
  15. Lectro Spektral Daze - Voyage In Your Mind. V/A Trollsås by Troll N' Roll Records (Ektoplazm): @ Bill: you analysed Tales From The North and I think this is also worth a review Amithaba Buddha - Angels Trumpets We should have more review ppl here in the forum: lower the bar maybe? It is not uber serious. If I put myself in a producer's position I'd like to get any kind of review than not a review at all. I am considering stepping in the boots. After my party is over I might. To have something to do e.g. during boring Christmas holidays (after my mom died I hate Christmas).
  16. Now that I finally got this double CD out of the package I must say it is sick sick good. Even techtrance vibes, pretty The production and audio quality is spectacular! I cannot understand some complaints in this thread unless you are just gathering psynews posts to reach an upper level, lol.
  17. A good choice if you mean Angels Trumpets. It is my CD of the year so far. Nothing gets even close. Out of digital releases if you like forest check out these two free V/A's from Swedish label Troll N' Roll Records http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/tales-from-the-north http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/trollsas You can even meet Finnish and Swedish vocals in some tracks, which adds to the awesomeness
  18. I noticed the same but actually was wondering where you are Off topic: always when I rarely post here nowadays I cannot get my eyes off the glowing flyer beneath here. This Finnish kid who made the flyer got an awesome 3D effect into it. Arronax earlier commented it looks like someone is traveling in space and the text is in the helmet visor 17 days to go before I meet the artists! I cannot think about anything else in these days! PS: Where's our brilliant Scandinasia? Haven't seen him around since summer
  19. Besides marketing the party I have an other reason to having ended up with an international contest in the event and that reason is promoting the artists in the line-up. Everyone can attend even though maybe not making it to the party. The two prizes are worth it: EVERY COLLECTOR'S DREAM SIGNED LD CD! Check the pinned post on this link https://www.facebook.com/events/533239686823832/
  20. Oh..I must have skipped some previous comments in this thread. An adept pick from Dark Angel. Bodh Gaya sounds lots of similiar in a good way & Ohm Mind's album doesn't give a feeling of having gotten too much influence, which I like.
  21. Yess! Now that this album is out it is way better than I expected. I did not expect like "average" but this is super excellent. Did not listen to the samples so it is pure joy now. So cool how the sound effects are used, the tracks are variable but still all fit the concept, good names (Ohm Mind: you are good literally yeah..I appreciate!) and I always need that super track from every album and here it is Jungle: awesome FOREST influences! Forest brought to rain forests; has anyone done that before in goa production: I doubt not Production level overall and mastering so great. Hihihihi I love Deimos! Fantastic job again Neogoa Records team!
  22. Quaranteed Psilo production quality. Funky and psyche tune. My fav track from him so far has been Strange Place To Play.
