  1. Track 3 is wow wow wow and all the wows in the planet! Ya found this gem compilation like now Punit? Better later than never!
  2. I have worked 3 years in a mental hospital as a doctor during my med studies in the late 1990's through the beginning of 2000. Quitted med school and went to work to get experience and money. Yeah..it is possible in Finland once you achieve a lower candidate degree from med school. All I can tell is that patients against taking drugs are immediately put in this "foul category" of not willing to play by the rules and psychiatrists take the attitude to be besserwissers in these cases refusing not even to discuss the options. I did that, too. I was living in the context of a doctor attitude fed to me at med school by teachers and fellow students. The hospital where I worked in was 1,5 hour drive away from where I lived and me and my 3 workmates used to drive there "carpool". Many times during the drive we just laughed at this and that "funny and stupid" patient who doesn't know his/her own best. Mostly we had the same patients so we talked about them directly using names. I have changed 110% from those times. Humanity has stepped in. Medical school is a school of brainwash. Pharmaceutical companies also contribute with throwing parties with free drinking and gifts.
  3. Nevermind quality issues: the sets are good quality enough. What I like about GoaPal's mixes is that I don't have to think anything...just turn the mixes on and the good stuff is pouring on me. My and Andreas's taste of goa is so much alike I'd like to hear some of your drum n' bass, bro, ya still have them?
  4. I kind of agree and disagree at the same time. Our brother has already tried looots of stuff. Sure if one keeps on searching and trying new medics it might end up with a miracle of really finding the cure but there's a limit how much one can handle (mentally and physically) these trials. Mentally so that there supposedly is more disappointments ahead than success and it eats up like it has already eaten up him. And disappointments lead to more anxiety. A good thing here is that he shared his stuff openly in this forum: speaking to ppl is necessary..wrestling the stuff alone is a way to destruction as far as I see it. And psychiatrists can be real cunts..they don't care mostly. Finding friends online and irl is the thing to do (@ Penzoline: yes, a nice thing ya met that girl). And listening to music. Sports, too, if one is up to such.
  5. Oh..this kind of problem is kind of out of proper and effective cure considering medical drugs unless one wants to start using schizophrenia drugs regularly and be a zombie day n' night. Happened here this spring that the drummer of Nightwish Jukka Nevalainen was forced to quit his job because of bad insomnia that had been treated in every possible way with no outcome. And this drummer sure had money for good docs (Nightwish is a famous and rich band). He came out public about the thing, that's how I know. What comes to you I wish all the best fighting the stuff. Horns up \m/
  6. Oh, thanks for contributing. This is very interesting. Looking forward to some other views of the topic
  7. Soooo...the blueberries I picked during the weekend are in the freezer and I noticed I turned 44 during the weekend so I guess it is time to make some confessions. Glad I found this thread, because there's something I am burning to know... But first...here's my history and opinions. Drugs: - a few lines (max 5-6 times) of amphetamine. Went down like this: Ofc I am interested, why wouldn't I be because I was like "this close" to become a medical doctor in the past (studied medicine for 5 years, never graduated) and illegal and legal drugs' differences are minimal and under ever-time dispute. So when I was in some private homes I had the chance to try out and I did. Too cool. If amphetamine was safe for your body and legal I'd probably shake the powder on my morning oatmeal but I will stick with the blueberries Let's put it this way: real life stuff is enough to handle and I get messed up with it once in a while, so doing drugs is just a mess upon a mess and I am not that stupid + there's always a danger of getting addicted..don't want to even think of a burden like that! And because this is psynews my comment concerning music is that because "normal ppl" can only seldom be on drugs while listening I consider those experiences "not getting the point" of the music listening itself. Psychedelics I have never and will never try because I am scared of the unpredictable effects. The other thing that does not happen is taking anything illegal in public (festivals and so on). - weed: hahaha..and a big lol. Two times tried with buildings falling on me and ending up throwing up in a bathroom. Such a nightmare. Meant not to my "fast" brain. - alcohol: now we are talking I am a Finn. We have a drinking legacy here up north. So with alcohol it goes like this: appr. once in a month or in two months limitlessly...never at home..never two beers "after sauna watching TV" but once in a while gotta get to the bar. Unfortunately no music picking..a bar dj or whatever chooses that and his/her choice is def not goatrance But now comes the interesting (at least to me) part that I have been thinking over the years. I know some of the music of the scene is produced under influence of drugs and I have never been able to understand how in the world is it possible to handle software and hardware as wasted. And if not..how does the producer remember the trip experiences to transfer them into music production later. Just big question marks here. I'd like to know..
  8. Hey ppl. How come no comments/no review? Don't miss. This is divine. Needless to say Russians have a legacy for a good downtempo. Go and check it out for free. Especially track 2 will take you somewhere...
  9. Looking for a quality downtempo and got it for free. Wonderful selection of tracks. The supreme and inspirational master of downtempo aka Chronos is to be thanked for this, as well as the label and Bill for the review & Ektoplazm link.
  10. Oriental Accidentalists is more to my taste (should be better mastering, though) but this is good, too & remember #WeLoveYouPhil
  11. Logged in a few mins ago: Mana Source added you as a friend...profile is validating. Oh well Edit: Thanks, Filipe for birthday wishes. You notice everything, lemme tell ya ;-)
  12. Dammit Dmitry..I read it only quickly. Ya really "scared" me..what the hell..is someone asking about you or what..didn't get it. And FINALLY ya are here..thank you for that..you are needed here! I will go afk a bit but take some peaks here, though. Hahahhahahhahah: your profile picture Yes!
  13. This guy is my friend..Dmitry and now it is the first time I heard about this what ya wrote..I am confused..
  14. Hahaha..I cracked up because that fella in the pic looks like Morphic Resonance
  15. Some fermenting sure is needed to get attention. And in psynews especially with over a million posts (noticed it today that we have so much, lol)..but always with respect. I think the outcome here is that no one got hurt. Forum rules well fulfilled. Seen loooots of worse here
  16. But we have this campaign #WeLoveYouPhil. He is an awesome musician after all. Nothing changes that.
  17. He will not cut it. He is waste of time (see my post in hackers today). And he will read this like he does read all. Takes screenshots of psynews posts and whatever.
  18. Neither of them did. As for Richpa he's more than responsive to feedback. This is what he posted on his fb profile, the closing words: "As always dear friends, if you want to stay in touch with anything design-related hit our Neogoa Design page here on Facebook and send me/us your feedback, it helps a lot to improve our work!". This post was made 18 hours ago before your post and it's public. Because your original critics had to do with Neogoa netlabel's design especially I want ya to realize this: this man is hands full of work and because of all free stuff he's doing for the community out of a big heart: give him slack. I wouldn't want any delay of upcoming releases because of artwork. But I understood some of your points, though. And when Neogoa CD's come I am positive the covers will be under radar.
