Nice done dude ! The first half of the song is a bit boring, there's a kick with some bassline filled with some little sound. However, the second half of the song is awesome ! It sound wonderful with this great melody ! Now of course it would be better if the melody were present since the debut of the song and always slowly edited until the end of the song, in order to not get borring. Last things : kick and bassline could be more powerful. Still a nice one you found for me, so thank you a lot. I like it ! I find it melodic and powerful but as you said, this isn't what Im exactly searching for. Still somethings nice, Im going to listen to more from Liquid Space. Thanx 4 suggestion I don't like dark psy-trance much. But I took a hear at this one. Yes, this is quite powerful (since it's dark psy) and very melodic, but not melodic the way Im looking for. Im looking for powerful indian or egyptian melody. The suggestion of Padmapani didn't contains such melodies but it had very nice melody so it was ok . What a shame for me, I could only guess one artist with it's correct track name. I think it shows how many different artist & song they are in the Psy-trance genre. Ahhh, this is why ! I mostly listen to psytrance after 2004 - starting in 2005 Im going to make my Psytrance ID games, but with track from every year ! It will contains full on, progressive and Psytrance (no dark psy trance).

Im coming late in this thread because I was back yesterday from a Goa festival ! So I would said that most of the goa party and festival nowadays are mostly playing boring progressive, dark psytrance or psytrance music. Sometimes they make an ascent with the sounds just for make an ascent, and it sound very bad, but the Dj does it in the only idea of making a fucking ascent. But there's few party / festival where good music are still playing...And I unfortunately don't know much about this. I know that Suntrip record let their dj play at some festival, which is very good, since they mostly play newschool goa trance ! Also as said before, you have good goa festival in Belgium. On youtube I could see a Belgium goa festival where agneton were playing ! It looked like it was awesome ! I've something else to say. This weekend I went to see a lot of artist...Most of them played progressive and most of them were labelled by YSE. Ok guys, YSE give a lot of shit, but they still label few good artist, like Sirion. Sirion were playing and I could hear "Without music", an awesome song in my opinion. Another guys playing there were Atma, probably the best show of the whole festival. Unfortunely, during the whole weekend, the bass and low frequencies were too present and big, and we couldn't hear enough the melodies and high frequencies stuff, which is damned when you're attempting to hear the good melody of Atma's song. Still I could here them, but the bass and kick were way to big during whole festival... Last thing : that's definitly right, most people don't know about genre. Some think they do, but they only talk shit. I could rarely someone name me the "Oldschool goa trance" genre. And no one ever told me about "new school goa trance" genre. Most of people know only 3 fucking words : Goa, Prog...And dark psy trance. They think they hear to goa when most of time its fucking progressive or just psytrance. No one of them know the term full on. That's for most of people. But some people still does know about genre - hard to find them, but they still exist. Im one of them in my region of sure, and another friend of me know too about genres. It's clear a lot of people only know what get played since the 2000' and totally wided apart of Goa trance. But this is like with those kids playing the last Call of Duty or Halo games and saying "this is the base of the FPS game !". And few people know that this is a bullshit, since the game that revolutionized the FPS genre were "Counter strike 1.5", so we can say Half life, and before this Wolfstein 3D and some older one I could never play.

This one : Is, in my opinion, the best Atma's track ever done. You can't find it on any album. You may find it on "map of goa vol 2" compilation, released by YSE.

I do agree with radi on this point. Their melodies are very nice but also often too very complex, shakawkaw is a great example. But in the whole "The other side" of convertings vegetarians there's a lot of beautiful melodies. That what I love in IM. I also liked Returns of the Shadows from The gathering, very nice track, sounding melodic at end ! I like too heavyweight, wonderful one.

So you considere "Heavyweight" from Vicious Delicious as a shity track too ? I know I know, considering an album as shit don't means you think every track of the album are poor, but that's almost it, and Heavyweight is a great track

This is psytrance track, but it miss the powerful melody as I asked for (Listen to the song I gave in my first post : there is a powerful melody during the entire track !) Thx for submission anyway ! The melody is good and quite powerfull (maybe just not enough but it's good for a first suggestion !) but it's not enough powerfull track. I means the dynamic of the track isn't enough heavy. But it's a good submission you did there. Im not fully agree with saying they have becoming somehow commercial. Yes, they have changed of style, it's undeniable. However it wasn't always a "bad" change or something that sounded commercial then. The perfect example is the "The other sides" of converting vegetarians. A lot of matter of taste, but I personnaly loved it. This is a complete different style since it's experimental, but it weren't commercial then. But now I've to say that with their dub step stuff they are becoming somehow a bit commercial. However their last album, Army of mushroom, weren't a bad album to me. I found that it were a great mix of dubstep, psychedelic trance, drum n bass and other stuff. What is sure is that for goa / psytrance lover as us, we will never has something better than their 2 first album from them.

Hello guys ! Im looking for something very rare ! For track similar to this one : When I say similar, I means : -Having too the psytrance bassline -Having a lot of feature with psytrance.... -BUT too having the Goa trance melody (Oldschool or newschool it doesn't matters) ! Very important point ! I hope you will understand what kind of track Im looking for. Very powerful track with good bassline and also great melodies. The track I gave link up is a great example of it. As there isn't any name for this kind of genre I named it as "Psygoa" in the title but I would considere it as psytrance since it has the structure of psytrance....

I've to say it's first time I see a review of someone and that Im not agree with it ! But I really gave my opinion in this review, Im not an Atma sucker ! I guess you liked "The secret of Meditation". Well it's an hard question since there's two review with complete different opinion. I would say that In Music revolution, you will still find the powerfull kick & bassline. You also still have great melodies, but not in every songs. That sound a bit different from previous album and this is normal since it's a new album. I can only suggest you listening to the album to make your opinion . But whatever is happening, please don't forgot to listen to last track, which is awesome, since it's downtempo ! And also my favourite one is the track number 3, it contains amazing melody, so I guess you'll like it.

I just gave a tryout with sony vegas to see it if were possibe to make it...And no problem I can make it. I don't specially need the samples since I can cut the song directly in sony vegas. 50 different artist is a lot, that's right, but I think with psytrance & progressive psy & full on this is even more important to have a lot, otherwrise people won't be able to guess any of the song...I means the more song you have, the more people will find tracks. I of course would integrate famous psy track and some less known. But as I said, I can't make it during this weekend...So for next week.

I guess it's not that hard making it. You only need a programm in order to make the video...Movie maker could be enough but it's not very practical. Using Sony vegas would be better, but of course this is payant. I could do this for you guys, but Im going to a goa festival this weekend so I won't have the time to do it during this weekend ! If some people want, I can make it during the next week.

I would consider it has kind of progressive psytrance... As K-BAn said, it's a very unique sound...So I can't recommend you anything similar.

Nice review dude ! I've taken a listen at 1 or 2 track from the album...All I can say is that it look very interesting ! I don't know how to define it, I think you picked up the two best genre in order to describe it : Dark Psytrance & Experimental. Darkpsy is not my favourite gender but Im surely gonna hear some more about this album
