  1. Must say Blacklight. http://www.discogs.com/Blacklight-Across-The-Gulf-Of-Space-Of-The-Darkside-Messaging/release/310253 The killer on this vinyl I gave a link to is '...of the darkside', the bassline is thunderous. Other one that comes to my mind is Pan's 'Cake'.
  2. added and removed stuff. have a look...
  3. Some great music here indeed. Really hope DAT could release some of the tracks.
  4. old school: pleiadians / pleiadians classic psytrance: toi doi / nuage d'encens dark psy: malicious / think about this
  5. Close enough. 'Hiscore', a great old acid goa group's the answer. They were named 'High Score' on two releases thou.
  6. Here's one.
  7. hey code man, check out: Non Fiction - The Submarine (Non Fiction - Aspect to the Future, 1998 Shem Records) Cyber Planet - Khooman (Cyber Planet - Mind Tripping, 2001 Area 51) Cyber Planet - New Dimension (Cyber Planet - Mind Tripping, 2001 Area 51)
  8. Alright, this is indeed quite dark psy oriented, fast rolling bassline, yet packed with melodies that's quite unusual for dark psy. Been looking for this "goanish dark psy" to happen actually, nice to see it's finally arrived heh. You've checked Sienis' new album? 'Unholy Ritual', 'High Frequency Science' and 'Reaching Through Eternity' are fast stompers with excellent melodies.
  9. Got this myself also. Can't see why it's so highly rated thou, perhaps should give a few more listens.
  10. Heh, heard this kinda stuff on forest parties last summer. I'd judge it just excellent full-on without annoying brakes, ymmv on the description of style (it's funny how people rush attacking me when I use the term 'full-on' for good music). The Alienapia track is good indeed. There's nothing "goa" about it even thou it's highly melodic. Penzo, check out 'temple of one' compilation on Glowing Flame Records, could fit your taste.
  11. Gave this some thought and here's the best for goa/psytrance: 1. va - People Walk Funny (2009) 2. Texas Faggott - Petoman's Peflett (2000) 3. va - Temple of One (2009) 4. Infected Mushroom - Classical Mushroom (2000) 5. Crop Circles - Tetrahedron (2008) 6. Cosmosis - Intergalactic (2000) 7. Tutankhamon 9000 - Lost In Luxor (2008) 8. va - No Tone Unstirred (2007) 9. Uvantam.Com - Guri & Guru (2005) 10. Toi Doi - Technological (2000) I find 01-04 the scene saw its lowest moment in quality.
  12. you said it. Mats is a recommended seller.
  13. Koxbox - Dragon Tales Cosmosis - Cosmology Coil - Musick to Play in the Dark^2 Daniel Stefanik - Reactivity Gas - Zauberberg Gas - Königsforst In-Existence - Moonwater Casino Vs. Japan - Whole Numbers Play the Basics Luke Vibert - Rhythm Chris Brann - Deep Fall That's more than enough to make me happy!
  14. Deadbeat - Roots and Wire Scorn - Evanescence Subsonic Park - Inner City Codes Massive Attack - Protection
  15. Heard about a half of them. None were excellent, recall a few solid tracks.
  16. The holy grail. Heh, hope you didn't have to sell one of your kidneys to get it.
  17. Amen to that. A bit sad it's exclusive to this compilation (hard to find) as it's a as you said, a thundering tune heh.
  18. update. Added clairaudience.
  19. This one's really good. Some of the best darkpsy yet...
  20. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdiF0Ze4ilo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=maQqPYRo8B8
  21. Some IDM fans of this board surely have heard of Toytronic, the home for such mesmerizing artists as Ochre, Gimmik, Loess and so on. I personally find their style of combining sugarsweet melodies and glitchy beats a great match. Chris Cunningham as Point 7 released 'What?' after 3 years hiatus. http://www.discogs.com/Point-7-What/release/1689955 Hopefully releases would follow more constantly from now on...
  22. Excellent news. The cover looks brilliant, hopefully the music's as well.
  23. From this list, found only People Walk Funny to be a really coherent, from start to finish (exclude the OOOD one) A-class material. Guess that makes me agree with Antic's view...
  24. great choices. If may add: Hiscore - True Freedom Shakta - Spiritual Beings In Physical Bodies Cosmosis - Psychofunk BOTFB - Domestic Bliss Intriga - From Vine To Vinegar Koxbox - Colordrops
  25. Admit voting "no". Always think any psy track with dnb structure would sound better with 4-to-da-floor beat.
