Transwave and Jaia would share the 1st place, but considering Transwave having at least the double amount of ace tracks the decision was easy in the end. Here's how I see it: Great goa tracks by the top groups Transwave Malaka Dance Land Of Freedom The Rezwalker Zero Density Trashish My Dear Medical Assurance Robostyx Hypersphere Axonal Flamycogire Cycles Of Life Jaia Brainstorm Brainstorm (live rmx) Mai Mai Nasty Angel Sillenium Tweested Zone There's something cheesy about Total Eclipse productions, most of their tracks sound unsophisticated to my ears. But they did a handful of excellent tracks too. Total Eclipse Free Lemonade Waiting For A New Life Transparent Mind The Furnace Virtual Terminal Energised Chaotic Circus

The free comp 'Morphing Psyche' by People of the Butterflies caught me off guard. Going thru it I kept on waiting for that average track but it never happened... check it out. -
item you paid most and the one you paid less (but that values)

Dark needs some light to actually sound malicious, if you make a track without any contradictive elements the end results are insipid. it just went downhill from here.... here's a modern example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2hPISZZQy8w

Hello my dear friends. I'd really like to see my tradelist cds go, what's the use for them to collect dust in my shelf? I believe there's some good music there, some will like it more than I did. So: Forget the prices. I will give you multiple items (3-5) for one relatively cheap cd bought from discogs. And I mean it, my pick will cost you less than 10 euros.

Exelization - Mindblast Technology

Fockin' aye. This is rock solid work Ormion! Some of the best psytrance I've heard in ages. -
We had a similar discussion on finnish psyforum. I tried to find the guys behind OOK with slim results, I remember even an australian label manager wanting to release their tracks but couldn't reach them. I'm pretty sure they quited the scene for good. The names of the guys in this group are P. Akrenius and J. Varjonen. My best advice is to contact Exogenic Records, a label that released their tracks.

In search for the most psychedelic track ever...
Oopie replied to Djuna's topic in General Psytrance
Impossiiblo. I believe every psy freak could mention at least 5 titles they consider perfect from start to finish. Tracks you wouldn't want to change in any way. Perhaps to still participate, one track on my 'perfect pie recepies' list: Hux Flux - Time Slices (rmx) -
Yah this is the one. It's unique, versatile, and has a very rare quality - there's no filler or "just good" tracks. It's near perfect from start to finish and that makes it stand out.

Hi guys. I think you might enjoy this really old Eat Static live set, from the very beginning of their career. Eat Static London '91

Heh, close...!

Might be hard. Hint: It's old school, a known producer used this name for one track...

What music are you listening to right now?
Oopie replied to Sputum Rotgut's topic in General Psytrance
TIP - Tribadelic Meltdown EP Some of the first goa eps out there I think... very pleasant music. -
I have just heard the most psychedelic music ever....
Oopie replied to Trance2MoveU's topic in General Psytrance
Yes nothing uncommon. The Hux Flux remix was pretty good, but considering how excellent the original is, it's no surprise. His own tracks were quite standard I think. -
Baked Beans - Baked Beans Tournesol - Kokotsu old school stuff

What is the most crazy/ insane psytrance track you have heard?
Oopie replied to TheJoker's topic in General Psytrance
I remember seeing some really good oxezy track on youtube and got excited of him. Checking more of his works however, lead me to a conclusion his usual standards are quite average. This track falls quite clearly in the average pile, the "darkpsy" effects are imo nothing exciting just the usual random sounds without sense. I do see your reason to post this track was the melody hook; it's not bad but it's still conservative, easy to make melody that's repeated too many times. Repetition of melody isn't a good factor in such a twisted genre as darkpsy. Secondly, that melody frankly sounds out of place with that darkpsy setting; there's no interaction what so ever. You could've as well take a good ambient track and play it parallel to any given average darkpsy offering and have same results. -
You go.
