  1. Well, my collection is splitted in some subgenres: Goa Ambient Suomi/Experimental Darkish/Forest sound Vinyls and then 3 small groups good full on good progressive "normal" trance/goa-crossover Within those subgenres I simply list all my cds alphabetical, both compilations AND albums, this means Balagan is next to Battle Buddhas for instance... But if you want to remember all your great tracks, the only "safe" way is excel... I have excel sheets with over 100.000 fields filled with information about tracks etc... if I have to play a trancy 6-8 set tomorrow, I simply have to order the list right, and I get a list of all "good" tracks within that sub sub genre
  2. Actually they do sell CDrs sometimes (Ka-Sol - Ghost STory for instance)
  3. This is such bull shit, then Mozart's music is just some notes on a piece of paper... There is a difference in writing music between electronic and classical music, that's all... Edit: I agree with Lemmi
  4. Aha, well, as I will go there too, I wasn't sure of bringing a tent either... once the sun will shine it is a sauna... So let's make a hammock corner of psynewsers then... And specially for you, Ormion, you can make Ctulhu tentacles out of my dreads
  5. I agree 100%... Today I still listen to it, once in a while, and I still like it alot (Alcyone I still adore) but sometimes it became a little too maximal for listening music for me (I blame my age), I prefer Alien protein, Juggeling Alchemists, Ra,... just because of the less maximal and more sensitive melodies
  6. he won't earn much with this, you can be sure of that... probably he simply wanted to release his old music... And as long as it is not second quality stuff I'm fine with this
  7. true, altough I know some terrible examples of groups with 2 members... Where 1 is producing music and the second is just the "manager" and showball on live acts *cough cough*
  8. I guess you will be badly dissapointed, you really think people like BPC play goa trance? Even 3 years ago it was very progressive already when he played at my party (maybe a few goa influenced tracks) Most of the "old goa masters" don't mind anymore, if you want goa these days, only trust the new generation
  9. well, Trold was the most old schoolish they went last year... Transwave was a joke... Anyway, this year no boom, I will be doing nothing in the mountains between Spain and France around that time... 3 weeks of only nature and no trance... Will I survive? Afterwards I will go to Greece for Aurora... That's my summer
  10. This year? None Last time? None The time before? None wrong festival my friend... if you want old school melodies only Belgium, Sweden and Israel seem to be valuable options... And next year Hungary... but you'll hear more about that soon I guess
  11. hehe, great memories... Once again thanks for your live act! As I told you, on the right hour, power goa with happy melodies works perfectly Maybe again next year on Shishu?
  12. Well well We are still thankful for the way you took care of us when we were in London Such generousity was unique, so you owe us nothing... but in case you really want to get rid of them... My vinyl player loves to eat some stuff
  13. haha, honestly, in Belgium he doesn't play much at all, maximum a few times a year... Other types of trance are much more popular
  14. well, we can be lucky here in Belgium Very vivid scene, between 2-4 parties every weekend within a range of 100 km... and all subgenres are active... most popular must be dark trance and old school goa trance at the moment, but progressive and full on have a crowd as well Cops seem to think goa is ok lately, not many interventions, as long as you don't disturb the neighbours
  15. Price is around 200€ these days it seems... for less it is always sold immediately... Best chances for getting this cd is via trading...
  16. Well, it's true there were always complications... but in the end I always had all I paid for, but indeed mostly not so well protected... But luckely non of them were ever damaged... So end conclusion: positive if you know how to handle If you want a reply from him you have to mail several times, and then he always replies
  17. It sounds amazing And it is one of the tracks of the upcoming Afgin album :drama:
  18. I agree... I think these days psychedelic music became better again then 3 years ago, more variation, more original ideas and lots of fantastic ambient releases
  19. Amen Also, I think the new goa trance sound is a little different from the old style... For instance, can people give me more cds in the style of Ra - 9th? Good sound quality, warm, analog, soft and melodic but with power?
  20. hell, I recognise the melody, but I can't link it with a track immediately, but indeed, it is in the uplifting/goa crossover vain...
  21. Hi jos , hope youve enjoyed the material :) hope to get news from you soon!

  23. Memories... MY first set was on new years evening 1999-2000... It was snowing alot, so one of the booked djs couldn't make it to the party place because of that, and the organiser knew I was mixing for fun once in a while at home... So there I played my first gig I remember it was fantastic, and the crowd reacted very well... I only remember 3 tracks I played: Astral - Let There Be Light, P.Cok - Double Doper and Battle Buddhas - Tigerhill Not much after I was dj-ing with a friend (Paprika) and we made the dj team PaprikAnoebiS, in 2001 this resulted in the gig on Senseblender and since that moment Paprika had no time anymore because of his studies. But since 2002 I play every week or 2 weeks somewhere in Belgium/Europe... I still think it is the most fun thing to do
  24. Well, an amount that is enough for all other artists But ok, the scene is indeed not about money at all anymore But I'm glad to see Dave is still active anyway I hope the music reaches the old level! Specially the ambient made me super curious
