  1. if you mean why i didn't include their other (newer) releases - because i think they are good but not essential and in no way crappy.

Wow, this is really great. Watched it last night and was fully pleased with it. Great story and great animation. 10/10
  3. This cd is like a dream come true. Lots of my favourite styles are fused together. I remember hearing Artifakt "The Magus" for the first time and how pleasantly surprised i was to hear a collage of minimal-tech and psy-trance. But POF is even more - i'd say it is HARD-PSY-TECHNO-TRANCE. It has elements of hard trance, hard techno and psy-trance. This is a winning formula for the dancefloor. Now i know it's gonna definitely be on one of the top positions of "best of psy 2009". 10/10

  6. oh, in that case.... Sasha - The emFire Collection: Mixed, Unmixed & Remixed http://www.discogs.com/Sasha-The-emFire-Co...release/1307527 The Radio Slave's and The Field's remixes both down- and up- tempo were really great. Deep and hypnotising - just the way i like it. Various - Get Physical Presents: FullBody Workout Vol. 4 http://www.discogs.com/Various-Get-Physica...release/1576828 One of the best compilations. Every track represents the best side of each producer. Practically every track is a bomb. Melodic and pumping. Alter Ego - What's Next?! http://www.discogs.com/Alter-Ego-Whats-Next/release/1370859 A remix album of their "Why Not?" release. You can find here a lot of dancefloor destroyers. :posford: Justus Kohncke - Safe And Sound http://www.discogs.com/Justus-Kohncke-Safe...release/1224981 This is definitely the best album of 2008 in tech-house area. The best melodies and rhythms all the way through. 10/10 IMPS - Bring Out The Imps http://www.discogs.com/IMPS-Bring-Out-The-...release/1500095 A mash-up production of Minilogue and Decoy. Overall an interesting album but not everybody's cup of tea - so beware James T. Cotton - Like No One http://www.discogs.com/James-T-Cotton-Like...release/1237617 One of the best tech albums of 2008 on the harder edge of things - acidic and dark.
  7. Terrafractyl vs. Quench - Winter
  8. This release is indeed very good. Lots of intersting ideas can be heard through the whole album. The first track is very beautiful and i like that it is long (11 mins) and it has enough time to reveal all its beauty. Tenshu (nr. 2) is one of the better morning full-on tracks i've heard. Delta Wave got some acid and nice synths, sounds like a serious business Ahhh, Winter. My favourite. It uses some very well-known classic symphonic piece...think of Prometheus 9th (The Man Who Swam Through A Speaker). I know it's nothing new since this trick was used before but it sounds really nice up here. 7/10
  9. Here are also a few labels that release quality chill: Dakini Records Entropica Sonicturtle Records
  10. Solomun - Saturday I'm In Love it's a two cd release - cd1 unmixed (boring IMO) - cd2 mixed by Solomun (excellent IMO)

to Myrphy: I think before listenning to any downtempo release there is a big chance that music won't make it for you just because you're not in the mood. I mean - - downtempo is slow and it needs a deeper insight. If you get the right mood listen to it one more time and you will see how complex and different all tracks are. for example, i can't listen to chill while being excited - i just don't hear it, and when i'm calm and some techno or psy pump my system it gets really wrong. so the fomula would be: right mood + right music = right understanding and appreciation
  12. When i just started listenning to psy i had the most vivid visuals without any drugs. Then i had to take substances to bring those visuals back. But since i quit all drugs i just enjoy pure sound and don't need no visuals in my mind (though i like watching visuals on stage). Anyway music perception became a much deeper experience than just association with concepts.
  13. you can listen to it free online as a part of Open Source Audio here http://www.archive.org/details/dt006
  14. Merr0w - The Pleiades
  15. OMG! Listenning to this for the second time and it melts my brain. (in a positive way ) The Pleiades is the crunchiest of them all - the most psyched out and mental. :posford:
  16. While i was lsstenning to this album it strangely passed near me. The only track i noticed was Shulman remix. Other releases from Bluetech had more magnetism and evoked certain emotions. Maybe i just need to listen to it few more times.
