    Definately, don't agree with this review. It's indeed a compilation with a couple of usual suspect artits right a few time after the true goa sound was over but this release still contains some solid tracks. It's early '99, the music was alraedy heading darker and less melodic yet there are still melodic parts blended with dark(er) parts. And as usual with Transient there are (were) never really bad tracks IMO, either good (and super good) or average ones, and some filler.

    Depending on the prices and of course the CDs themselves, I would take some drum n bass. Without jewelcase better.

    This should be really picked and reissued by Suntrip Limited. Though I don't consider this essential at all it's still something historical. Would need a decent mastering too.

    For a while was thinking Chaos Unlimited tapes, however there is no known dj paul, so far. However from the sample you have described it should be very easy to identify for someone who knows it. Is it true Goa or some other related/close style?

    Funny, was listening this on youtube 2 days ago after previewing the tracks on the CD Contortions which I intend to buy. London Acid Techno from the late 90's is so good! Yeah fuck goa every now and then. BTW: This hardcore label hated Goa: http://www.discogs.com/label/58875-Sut-R%C3%B8v Read what's written on the labels of the first four releases. And that's awesome nasty hardcore from Denmark.
