  1. On a side note, according to a long discussion on the release history (discogs) Simon DID NOT collaborate on The Great Spirit even though: -it's tagged 'Hallucinogenic Mix' -Simon happens to have contributed another track on the same album -has a totally hallucinogen sound -if that was not enough it was even listed in his (Hallucinogen's) discography on his old website Do you know that track, radi?
  2. Finally, glad you like a recommendation of mine.
  3. You can see my discogs review on the Space cat album, I always said that it sounds Hallucinogen all through, except last track, which (alas) sounds like Astral Projection. Have you heard this album radi? If not you better do.
  4. Anjuna is an old-school oriented label and the physical CD should be the main platform. Gotta love this quote.
  5. It's (1) a digital only release, that is enough to make it less known. But releases from a digital label like NeoGoa (to mention one label of our style) are quite known because they are advertised heavily, unlike the damned release you opened a topic about. So reason (2) is that. And (3), does't sound exactly like a nice release. But makes good background music while relaxing in a spa. Is that enough reasons for it to be unknown? Take the positive side - after this thread it might gain an inch of popularity.
  6. Acidlab is one of my favourite albums ever, but not for everyone's tastes.
  7. Give me Pigs in Space and Tandu anytime. I never heard about this album and have not bothered listen samples so won't comment, for now.
  8. And if I don't win it will be because no-one can ever decide which really is the worst track he did.
  9. If I mention Ingmar Veeck I'll be the winner I'm afraid.
  10. Pretty solid release, my favourite is Alnitak Sunrise. I really like that 'happy meloy, it (the melody) reminds me of Hard Trance anno 1994-1995 (think Sunbeam - Outside World). Not that this goa track has resemblence to hard trance mind you. Like also the odd ending track. Reminds me of ambient, dare I say 1994 again.
  11. Being from the mediterranean island it is i was invariably baptised roman catholic. However i don't follow it.
  12. This is one of my all time favourite (Goa) CDs. See my couple of years old review on the discogs page
  13. You tried to buy it the instant moment (or little after) you saw the post here: You posted here again after exactly 2 months.
  14. Alien Protein is abundantly available due to multiple editions and reguraly priced, not sure what the big wish is. Re TIP coloured series get The Colours of Shiva 1 and 2 if you want the music and not the originals.
  15. Nothing to do with the track you mention. DAT Mafia refers to the days of DAT trading.
  16. That would be nice, starting releasing limited DJ mix series. think Deck Wizards from the 90's, but 2 decades later. You shoul really consider it, getting license from other Goa labels shouldn't be a big issue if everything is done correctly.
  17. Ambient Galaxy is so futally long. If it was trimmed down to 7-8 mins maximum would have been enough. Ambience is lousy if you ask me, the only lousy track I know by AP TBH.
  18. After having received today the sweet Sakura I felt I had to share something which has been baffling me since long. Why is it that after 2000 dj mixes (psy-goa) became so rare? How many dj mixes can you count in the 'latest' years? Me, except for Sakura and the other Suntrip 'Warming Freeze' from 2008 can't remember. I understand psy-goa vinyl is no longer existent and this had certainly an effect on the official dj mix CDs. Gone are the DAT days. Times have changed in the sense that 'today' everyone wants to release his tracks in full on various compilations and full-length albums but I (still) think dj mixes would be nice if there were labels ready to get tracks licensed for the purpose.
  19. No. But i only commented because antic did, otherwise, would have never filed it under 'worst' ever. Still, i'm still of the opinion it's a very bad release.
