  1. Well here's an absolute classic, both the song and video I'd know the lyrics to this one in my sleep.
  2. I have a thing for (mostly sweet voiced) female vocalists: * Emma Salokoski. Her latest (solo) album is crap, but the ones with the Ensemble are stellar, each one better than the previous one. * Maaya Sakamoto. Her albums from the past ~10 years have been a bit up and down in quality, since she stopped working with composer/producer Yoko Kanno, but I still keep buying her albums no matter what * Björk. Her albums since Medúlla have been occasionally even too weird and avantgarde, but I still adore that strange voice of hers and will buy any studio album of hers. Homogenic and Vespertine are nothing short of masterpieces. Also I have all Portishead studio albums, Madonna's Ray Of Light, a few other J-Pop singles, and maybe something I can't remember right now. Edit: I have all Gotan Project albums too, if that's to be classified as "pop". I'll maybe dig up some Youtube videos later on; problem is, the ones I'd like to dig up are in Finnish and Japanese so the lyrics won't make sense to most of you
  3. Not really rebellious or anti-culture, that I can (mostly) agree with. Still, the scene is as much about drugs today as it's ever been. It's kind of an inevitable part.
  4. Knowing Lupu, I very much doubt he'll play this exact same set at Kosmos
  5. So...I've been feeling a bit weird lately. Got a surprise set for last weekend so that weirdness seeped into the music. Tracklist: UX - U.X. Part 1 (Reloaded) DoHm - Silent Existence Sphingida - Over The Depth Easily Embarrassed - The Capital K.D. Expression - Alpae-3717 Cybernetika - Unleash Supersillyus - Trancendental Medication Søvnigt Sind - Earth Potions (Lady Of The Lake Remix) Jeremy's Aura - Feel Something Eurythmy - Not A Love Song Tron Sepia - Endless Auma - See You In The Morning
  6. Hey, I played this in a DJ set last summer, no way it can be bad as I don't play crap music
  7. Escape Into http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/escape-into-the-dream http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/escape-into-the-drama https://kinematicrecords.bandcamp.com/album/unearthly-affairs (this one I still don't have) Fuzzonaut http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/fuzzonaut-jokers-and-the-weird-space-equipment http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/fuzzonaut-fictional-grooves
  8. It's fucking horrible if you ask me. On a side note: my sister is a violinist. You should have seen her face when I played her this
  9. Did you seriously also like Let's Mozart?
  10. Yeah, no need to sign up if you just want to upload images.
  11. I dare you to give even one reason for me not to be there
  12. Latest Firefox on Win10 Pro (upgraded from Win 7 Ultimate) here. I haven't had any problems with it since the swith to W10, and I've been using FF for as long as I can remember. Imgur definitely for images, I don't think anything's ever deleted from there
  13. Quoting myself from the release thread: Also there's a nice and subtle tongue-in-cheek touch to the whole atmosphere of the album. I feel that Patrick had loads of fun making this, and the whole album makes me smile
  14. Seems like "acidic" is cool again, and it seems to be the gimmick of this album. That being said, this is unfortunately not one of my favourites from the Neogoa catalog. The overall sound is oddly flat and parts of the sounds are (unintentionally?) distorted. Especially "Outer Passage", initially I had it in a recent DJ set but had to drop it because it just didn't fit in even with a bunch of oldschool tracks. Not really a fan of the artwork either. Sorry guys, this just didn't do it for me
  15. How about Ka-Sol - Fairytale on Suntrip? Not really a "bad" album per se but the fact that it's on Suntrip is quite odd.
  16. I'm not that surprised that it's on Blue Room, in fact I'd have been surprised to see it on any other label. Blue Room didn't exactly stick to conventions in the first place, especially at the end of the '90s. Access Denied fits right in there with releases like Alien - The Pleasure Of Leisure, Montauk P - Def=Lim, Sunkings - Soul Sleeping, Metal Spark - Corrosive, Spectral - Diffuse and VA - Freekstyle.
  17. Passenger - For All Man Kind seems to get its share of mixed reviews, but I actually don't have anything bad to say about it. OK, so it's not Project Genesis, but still on the better side of the 1999 pond.
  18. Pleiadians - I.F.O. (surprised, anyone?)
  19. It's on DAT Records' Analog Trips too.
  20. Well, mine is about 1000 CDs and 500 downloads. Not exactly huge, but if you ask me there's barely any crap in there
  21. I decided to keep mine private, you'll see it only if you come visit me personally
  22. I got Toï Doï - Technologic the other day. Nice album but brickwalled to hell and back
  23. Sounds a bit like me, but I've already given up on trying to "fit in". I'm the way I am and if someone doesn't like it they can fuck off I've never tried to "treat" it with intoxicating substances, but rather with stuff I can do on my own (music, video games, anime for the most part). I still mostly enjoy solitude, or the company of one person. In my first 10 years of going to parties I practically didn't get to know anyone. I was always by myself. I've actually gotten to know people after I started DJing (it kinda comes with it) and it still feels a bit weird that people actually know who I am
  24. Finally got around to listening to this, and what can I say? Fantastic Gentle mastering and I just love the playfulness of the melodies in here. Termination Shock <3
