  1. I agree with you guys, it is definitely something to be discreet about. But I read a short story on the Ozora festival website and someone was basically saying that the police used unnecessary action against them. He was talking about getting kicked in the balls and slapped in the face by police officers, for only having 0,6 g weed. You guys should take a look at think link, don't know if it's true but if it is, it's a shame. http://www.ozorafestival.eu/index.php?Category_id=4&pageid=12&mywbForumFrontCtrlAction=Topic&mywbForumTopic_id=252&mywbForumTopicFrontCtrlAction=Item Anyway, the picture of the drugs sign is definitely not a good thing. I think people at parties should be able to discus things with each other, when it comes to drugs. It should be more open and friendly. These days, if you would ask someone to put there sign away, you wouldn't know what to expect. In my country there are many drug dealers at parties (this goes for just about all music). It wouldn't be a good idea to just tell them to stop what there doing because there to open with it, not all of them would appreciate that.
  2. Fucking love this track man. Listening to some E-Clip myself at the moment actually, together with Flegma & Nerso. http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=5f-nVXLU-To
  3. This is the latest news: "Four foreigners attending a festival near Ozora, SW Hungary, were arrested for suspected drug abuse during a police raid on Thursday, national police spokesman Laszlo Garamvolgyi told a press conference on Friday. Another 39 festival-goers were taken into temporary custody and a large amount of drug-like substances as well as plenty of tools required for dosing, distributing and consuming drugs were confiscated, he said. There was a special "drug street" with inscriptions indicating on the caravans what drugs were offered for sale inside, the spokesman said. The national police chief has withdrawn the mandate of the police chief of nearby Sarbogard without giving any reason for the decision, said Garamvolgyi. The festival is mostly attended by foreigners." http://www.caboodle.hu/nc/news Btw, I would like to make it clear that with this thread my intentions are not to stereotype the psytrance community, or give a bad name to it. I'm sure most of you understand this, it can't hurt saying it though. The reason I made this thread is because if I wanted to go to Ozora next year, I would of liked to be informed of what could take place. That's all. The psytrance community is the kindest most positive minded community's I have ever been involved in. And don't forget, at Techno, House, Hardcore parties of whatever, has it's main drug issues also. I just don't get why only psytrance seems to be associated with drugs. If someone thinks that drug users are only at psy parties, you should visit some different genres also.
  4. @ ollylovesgoa: Cheers mate, I am glad you understand what I mean! Slick is indeed a good discription and yes, def different then the Iboga sounds. I like this label and some artist on it, but I have more in common with the Iono labels and such. Some of the artists you posted are artist I really love to listen. I am already a big fan of Zen Mechanics, Motion Drive and Unseen Dimensions. Just very unique prog, amazing! Ianuaria is great dark stuff, usually not much in to dark but this is amazing. Dickster I find had some good tracks and Synesthetic I'm gonna check out. Temple Of One is a nice album, in the past I already listened to a lot of Imaginary Sight and it's one of the few darker orientated sounds I like. I just happened to buy the Pathfinder album a little while ago, you have good taste! Also Plexure Free Spirit 4 is not to bad of a album. I am lucky to have seen Ital live 2 times and also Zen Mechanics I have seen 2 times, he happens to be from my country! Also I enjoyed M-Theory, Twenty Eight and Journey. Ovnimoon is indeed more melodic but still awesome prog! Thanks man, really great stuff! @ Padmapani: No problem, I am glad that this thread can help more people. It is good that the best prog is being shared throughout the world. Mindwave I already liked, like most of his stuff. Elegy is new to me but not bad at all. A little different then others but I am glad I am also listening to this stuff. Andromeda and Soul kontakt I still have to check out. I don't like to just look up a artist and judge straight away. I have to listen carefully. Thanks for your post man!
  5. haha that's the one.
  6. Yes, exactly. More news I read was that a hungarian TV reporter made a video with a secret camera about people selling drugs and the police responded to this. Also I read that theres a chance the festival will get canceled next year. Just spreading the word. Look at the video here: http://mno.hu/ahirtv...-ozorat-1098307 "This is an action was preceded by several months of operational intelligence. The action against the person, a total of 304 measures, 41 production was due to reasonable suspicion that a crime "- Garamvölgyi Laszlo said. Telling the withdrawal Sárbogárd police captain of the National Police immediately suspended, and it is also investigating whether the site could provide uniforms to the drugs. Central Europe on the Internet anyway safest drogpartijaként announced by the organizers of the festival, which will take place in 13 years. "In such matters, then something happens, if it becomes aware of the National Police Headquarters.Entirely legitimate, if the local police organizations become aware of such an offense, you should have to act. Talkative, is not it, in today's withdrawal is "- said Laszlo Garamvölgyi. The seized drugs are still under investigation. So far, 2.5 kilograms of marijuana, mescaline 25 package, 40 ecstasy pills, 50 grams of cannabis resin, five grams of cocaine have been identified, but the number is not yet final. The six-site drug detection dogs have been deployed, but the animals had to be replaced every 10 minutes, because such a large amount of agent is not met."
  7. Yes, progressive light is a good way to describe it. I like this guy's style. Like the remix on this album, but also like his other remix of Sonic Manipulation. Not on this album though.
  8. Love the Flegma & Nerso remix. Usually Talpa isn't really my style but I like that track a lot.
  9. Gotta love this album. Love the Crow track also.
  10. 2 tracks, but both killers. Love this album. When I listened to the Ace Ventura track (original mix) I thought it just couldn't get better then that. Until I saw the remix of these guys.
  11. Colour and the Flegma & Nerso remix of Audio Gigolo are my favorite. Great work on this album.
  12. I think this is one of the best prog albums I have come across in my life. Each track gets a 10 from me and have listened to them many times. So good that I can't even choose my favorite. Great stuff
  13. Love the Flux track, Zen Mechanics vs Flegma & Nerso are 3 of the best prog producers. Also this is one of the better tracks of the Ectima project. It's very different, but unique and amazing sounds. Great album!
  14. Love this album. The Zyce, Nerso, Sideform & Flegma tracks are my favorite. Very nice!
  15. Not a bad album, Lyctum is a new talent. Love almost all his tracks so far. I'm just wondering where did you get the picture of the little guy dancing? I have seen this very same one at a prog trance party on queensday in The Netherlands. I remember it because my friend made several pictures. Nice review man!
  16. Serbia, Belgrade is the way to go! Much love to these guys: www.tesseractstudio.org
  17. When some people can not handle there self on drugs, see a terrible accident with someone having a overdose, have bad experiences with certain drugs, they intend to have an opinion about all the people who take drugs and what they should do. Also they seem to compare one drug to another. This is not good, cocaine is totally different then LSD. And mushrooms are something different then heroine. We have to draw the line between these type of drugs. When we don't, more of these raids will only continue. It won't get less that way. Btw. I have seen some guys fighting with each other, they were on alcohol. I have read about a guy raping a girl, he was drunk. I have read about a boy getting killed in a car accident, the driver was drunk. I have seen hooligans fight against the police, they were drunk.
  18. Yes Blubber, I agree with you. It is up to everyone to decide what they want to do at a party. As long as they do it responsibly and look out for one another. It's not like Ozora is known for a place were people beat the shit out of each other. The opposite actually, so police should stay away and focus on real crimes. Btw Drosophila, I didn't know it was from extreme right organization now? That is pretty crazy, since it's a psytrance festival. So sad to hear that and I don't know why so less people know about this. At some party's in my country I have spoken to people who went to Ozora and they said that over the years it has only gotten worse. I always wanted to go one day but I think I will go for a different psytrance festival now.
  19. I read this on another forum and I thought I would spread the word. After al this does concern all of us. http://centraleasteu...om/blog/?p=3365 http://translate.goo...dorseg_ozorara/ Ace Ventura - Mushroom Magazine "***NEWS FLASH FROM OZORA*** - Lots of people have been asking about rumors about police and such. So... around 14:00 a few hundreds of cops indeed raided the festival. Not a pretty sight to see all these uniforms in such a place of complete freedom, but the orginisers were quick enough to give a heads up in the mic and warn everyone. I assume there were some arrests around the festival, but THE MUSIC DIDN'T STOP and is still going on. In fact EVERYONE escaped to the dancefloor and danced the shit out of themselves, and the atmosphere on the floor was UNBELEIVABLE, truly amazing. And... because of this situation, after my live set, Liquid Ace got to play double the time and a massive 3 hour set. it was off the fuckin' hook ! So the party is going on in full power...and paradise is still here." Mushroom Magazine: 'There was a massive police raid at O.Z.O.R.A. Festival today. People were bounded with cable ties. The drug laws in Hungary have changed since beginning of this year: "The law determines that a "personal quantity" is defined as 1 gram of active substance (i.e. THC), therefore this equates to 12-100 grams of marijuana if calculated that marijuana contains 1-8% THC per unit mass. Possession of larger amounts can lead to a 5-10 year prison sentence." (Wikipedia)' Picture: http://i48.tinypic.com/iw0sbs.jpg
  20. There is nothing wrong with prog trance, psy prog or full-on psytrance. For me, 90% of what I listen could be classed as progressive. Some have a little more psychedelic going on then others but it doesn't mean 'normal prog trance' is bad. For instance, one of my favorite artist is Motion Drive and this guy realy takes me to a different level when listening to it, but there is more psychedelic stuff out there. I think there is so much these days that the lines are small between genres. Real psy prog for me would be Lyctum, a perfect example and I believe he classes himself as psy prog as well. Relativ, Ovnimoon, E-Clip, Flegma & Nerso, Ectima, Aho, Zen Mechanics, Solar Spectrum, Vertical Mode. For me progressive trance comes a little closer to progressive house then psy progressive trance. Still the gap can be very big. Clear prog trance for me is Day Din, Symphonix, Zyce, Nok, Odiseo, Human Element. For prog trance Blue Tunes label has realy good artist, Tesseract Studio and Iono label is perfect for Psy prog.
  21. Thank so much you guys for the suggestions! To be honest I already know most of these artist. I absolutely love Lyctum, I discovered this album not to long ago and its just perfect, such unique style. Protonica I know also but it is exactly what I'm talking about, I'm glad you catch my drift! It's realy hard to describe, but there basslines are just much quicker and more clear then others with very thight effects. Optiloop has this going on all the time, it's so nice. And yes, thats why I like Ritmo, Suntree. Ace Ventura also has this a bit. I enjoyed Meller, didn't know this one before. Little older but nice! And you are totally right about them labels, they hardly dissapoint me. Didn't know Tribal Vision records but realized they have some good stuff. And also gonna check out more Yellow Sunshine Explosion. Thanks for this! E-Clip is fantastic, I listen to a lot of this guy already! I didn't realy mean it had to be new. i more ment that I discovered some music that was new for me. Sorry I know so much of these artist already, I guess I have listened to these labels over and over and know them really well by now. That's why I'm looking for stuff outside my usual range. But E-Clip always dose the job haha. Btw, the usual stuff I listen to is Motion Drive, Flegma & Nerso, Zyce, Time In Motion, Egorythmia, Sideform, Relativ but mostly from the same labels.
  22. Hey guys, I've been listening to some new progressive stuff lately wich is hard to describe. I would say faster, and thighter then other prog. I am looking for more artist but it's not always easy to find. I already know the Iono, Iboga and Tesseract stuff. Absolutely love these labels but I am also looking for some of this kind: Optiloop http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=AmRGfts1Z1g http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=3yWFHx8qDPU&feature=related Fasma http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dvZOz4jiZE Human Element http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7_BEFvdfn8 Midimal http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=dbMNSkq3aIk This is the type of stuff I'm looking for, thanks already! Edit: To make things easyer for other people looking for this kind of stuff, here's a list of different artist and labels that fit this description more or less. Some of them I came across, some of them mentioned in this thread. I will keep updating this list now and then. Enjoy! Labels: Airglow Records Blue Tunes Records Digital Nature Records Echoes Records Furthur Progressions Iboga Records Iono Music Plusquam Records Prog On Syndicate Sourcecode records Synergetic Records Spin Twist Records Tesseract Studio Records Tribal Vision Records Undergroove Music Uxmal Records Yellow Sunshine Explosion Artist: Ace Ventura Aerospace Aho Aquafeel Aquaspace Avshi Cabal Cadnium Day Din Double Click Ecliptic E-Clip Ectima Egorythmia Etic Fasma Flegma & Nerso Funky Dragon Gaudium Human Element Infinity Inner State Invisible Reality Jiser Krama Kopel Klopfgeister Liftshift Lish Liquid Soul Liquid Space Loopstep Lyctum Ma'co ManMachine Middle Mode Midimal Mindwave Motion Drive Multiphase Naes Odiseo Orison Osher Optiloop Ovnimoon Progenitor Protonica Querox Relativ Reverse Ritmo Ritree Rocky Sideform Solano Sonic Entity Sphera Static Movement Suntree Symbolic Symphonix Synesthetic Time In Motion Unseen Dimensions Vaishiyas Vertical Mode Vice Visua Xshade Yotopia Zen Mechanics Zyce
  23. Hey guys, I found this youtube video online and I was wondering if someone can tell me the name of the second track, starting at 05:30. I assume its either from Xibalba, Hamelin or Oidseo, But I listened to a bunch but cant figure out wich one. Sorry it is just stuck in my head and need to figure out the track. Thanks! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rBVkkk7Oe6c&feature=related
  24. Hello everyone! I am from Amsterdam, The Netherlands and I got in to psytrance music about 2,5 years ago. My friend took me to a psytrance party and a whole new world went open for me! What really attracted me to this kind of music, was also the friendly atmosphere at parties and events. Total different then with a lot of other music. Later I discovered I was more in to Progressive Trance/ Progressive psytrance and I started to listen a lot of that and it never seems to bore me somehow! Besides this I listen to Progressive House and tech-house sometimes. Also I play saxophone and with this I usually listen to reggae/jazz. That's about it. I already wrote 1 review and I will write more soon. Like the friendly community on this site.
  25. Thanks for the information guys, I didn't know this until now! In this case I will write more reviews soon. Cheers.
