  1. At least it got explicit melodies 'n stuff. Actually I like it. the Decisive Action track!!! <3
  2. Thanx for the support bro! I'll update the topic with more sale links gradually...it's also for sale on discogs already, btw! ---> http://www.discogs.com/Agneton-Protozoa-Vol-III/release/5484014
  3. It's been up for sale since yesterday afternoon..updated the first post! Happy Nitzhogoa times...
  4. Agree with Ethereal but to me Khetzal is absolutely one of the most non-spacey Goa albums in the entire genre. Corolle is so full of...gaia...mother earth...lotus flowers, don't know how to say it, but nothing in the music reminds me of space at all...
  5. Finally some news on this topic! It will be out in february and u can check samples on Beatspace nawwww http://www.beatspace.com/7932/Sita+Records/Various/Protozoa+3/detail.aspx
  6. That's when he started riding on the waves of success of west-european Uplifting Trance! I actually never checked out those later albums tbh, after the Crazy Summer album of 1999 I kind of lost interest in him...for that kind of trance music, there's better artists around. However, when it comes down to catchy israeli Nitzho, he was _THE_ name to remember. Even today a lot of israeli's do remember his 98-99 tracks. Check out this small video made during a dj set by Shivax, playing Reverse Psychology (=Oren & Eyal Barkan) - Crazy Dafna on an outdoor party in Israel, some months ago! Oh and @angular_sound: thx ! appreciated!!!
  7. Wrong forum! (there ain't any good forum for this kind of music, unfortunately ) Respect for remembering him btw!! Some of his tracks and collabs with Oren Barkan (aka Reverse Psychology) were a godsend! Good Morning Israel / Crazy Dafna come to mind...
  8. UPDATE CD is for sale now!!! Brighten up your summer with the most melodic stuff out there!!!
  9. Shidapu = OMG YAY Shiva Shidapu = mmpretty much yay Infected Mushroom = nay Never understood their sound, but it's definetely just a matter of taste, as is everything
  10. Ypsilon5 has some forum activity here from time to time... I quite liked their CD although it's a bit too *OK more then a bit sometimes* repetitive in my opinion. On their soundcloud they have some newer stuff which I liked better...has some synthpop/regular trance influences, but they really know how to put emotion in their melodies! https://soundcloud.com/ypsilon5
  11. That was a rather short-lasting game
  12. It used to be at least once a week and sometimes even several parties each weekend, at least during a couple of years (2005-2009 or smtn, I have no clue how it was before 2005). That's how I perceive it, in each case. Nowadays there's indeed a lot of eclectic parties, and the ones that attract the most attention (on forums and social media etc.) are usually the ones offering the combination of oldschool Goa (no newschool, which did however attract people back when it was still 'fresh' and a scarce genre before 2008/2009) + forest/fullon (I feel like there used to be less emphasize on forest music in the past). However, apart from Israel we're still the best country for this kind of music, for sure! (party-wise)
  13. Actually I think Asia2001 was always a mixed bag...for sure he made a couple of awesome albums, but as far as I remember he also released tons and tons of EP's and compilations on Trans'pact under different aliasses which were absolutely forgettable...this project was, in my eyes, one of the earlier scene-representatives of the 'quantity is better than quality'-adagium.
  14. First track: pretty minimal style, but in a positive way! I like the variety of percusion and rhythms that come along through the track. The whole track also has an extremely oldschool feel to it, also in a good way! Lastly, the melodies are good, to the point, not superfluous or smtn...nice work! Second: wow, this sounds pounding good job Imo: very talented and you should definetely proceed the way you're producing now! Sorry, no tips from my side, as I perfectly enjoyed the tracks as they are
  15. Hey mate! It's a bit off topic to speak about that here, but to answer your question, the samples you hear are done by me and my girlfriend! Except for the dino screaming, for that I googled some free monster screams ...
  16. Hello my friend. Again you prove to have great taste ! The track is called Wizorg - Innovation. It was produced around 2001-2002 by a young Greek guy and posted for sale in the mp3 section of the former Unicorn Records website (back when they weren't into Chillout music and such yet). The track has never been properly released, and the highest bitrate version I've seen floating around is 192 kbps... I've been trying to get a hold of this guy through various other artists who collaborated with him in the past (namely Cydelix and Crucifix), who all told me this guy totally dissapeared from the scene. He also produced some other tracks, but none as good as this one. Hope this helps!
  17. I really love this compilation. This is how I like my newschool best...lots of melodies, lots of power, energy, etc. Laughing Skull is a god.
  18. I have a few stickers I found in old unsealed Nitzhonot copies! Of course I never used them anywhere, would be a shame to spill them... *Holymen - Nitzh O Not sticker *Iceman - Turbulent sticker *Trivia - Speed Of Sound sticker There's also a Cyan - Braindance sticker, but I lost that one Scans can be provided if wished : p
  19. Hey man, thanks for your clarifications there! Still, the remaining issue stays for now: is newschool goa all about those oriental influences, or not? I really think it's not! Just remember picking up my first newschool CD (Apsara) and plugging it in...there was only one track that gave me those oriental "chills", namely the Lost Buddha tune. None of the other came even remotely close to that kind of melody usage, in my opinion... Happy to hear more opinions on this!
  20. 1) Nitzho-goa as a term was only invented in 2009 although you could indeed categorize some music into that subgenre dating from before the actual term (like, er...Cyber Planet, or my own album from 2008?), I think it would be a bridge too far to classify the whole greek and israeli 95-99 scene as Nitzho-Goa...even if by that you only mean artists such as Shidapu, Mystica, Psycho Meditation, Kalium, etc...and not the likes of MFG, Astral etc. 2) Although I recognize there's a whole lot of Belly dance and/or superoriental Nitzhonot out there, I think it's just plain wrong to classify the music as such. It's hyper-melodical, not necessarily hyper-arabic (or whatever)...check https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDMXHRbPiGI or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fru7TZ3b93. Are these relying on arabic scales? No! Are they classified as Nitzhonot? Yes! My point would be, saying that Nitzhonot is the cause of all new Goa sounding oriental, is just not right! :/ 3) More importantly, I do not agree with the idea of (quite) some people that new Goa is mostly, or always, oriental-sounding. E-mantra? Artifact303? Afgin? Filteria(post2010)? Space Elves? Aerosis? Merr0w? Crossing Mind? Almost anything from Cronomi? List could go on... IMO there isn't even enough of the hyper oriental stuff out there! 4) If there was something that really got me hooked to Goa trance, I mean oldschool Goa, back when newschool didn't really exist yet, it were the oriental melodies...Lepton Head (Deedrah remix), Vimana, last melody in Lunar Civlization track, etc, you know, that's the stuff that will always stay hooked in my mind
  21. The underneath statement doesn't have to be true . For Sita Records I decided to press in limited numbers from the start (500 CD's and 300 CD's), and they are distributed in all the shops! I guess it depends on the pressing company and distributor you use...
