Not really thought of that before but that makes a lot of sense. I still think it would be good to open up the review section for more discussion though.

So what did you end up getting?

Something easy I can do? I'll give it a try if I can't find anything easier

What music are you listening to right now?

It's that time of day again: Dreanfish - Hymn  -
I think what happened was that some years ago we tried to make the reviews more just reviews and didn't allow discussion that wasn't directly reviewing the music (comments on the review, asking for recommendations for similar music etc) and this kind of killed the review section. Reviews would be posted and then sink down the list as no one replied with a few words that would have bumped the review thread up and encourage more people to post. I'd prefer to allow more discussion in the review threads because as you see, there's not much to ruin now.

Hi Dros, Sorry for replying to something that probably predates us actually meeting. I do actually love some space opera and I read a hell of a lot of shitty sci-fi but this guy is the worst writer ever.

Even if you're just a parody, that logo is weak. As a serious logo it's on the same scale as Libya. If it's s joke it's about the same level as a Yo Mama joke

Good news everyone, there's three videos in tge discogs link. Bad news: now I really want to hear the full album.

Damn you for posting that 16 seconds. Now I really really want to hear more but there's nothing to be found

I've been in survival mode before. It can be terrifying and it never helps to gear that your still better of than 90% of the world. All I can say is that in the big picture 500 euros isn't enough to stress about. Money is tight now, I lived for a year on cup noodles and water. Not healthy at all and I was convinced it'd be the death of me but I got a job and was grateful for it worked hard and was given more money. Now I can by 5 euro wine and bags of cheese strings. Living the dream.

Very nice. I like when that happens. The perfect track randomly comes on for the occasion. I remember standing at the edge of the world looking out over the ocean as the sun set behind me turning the sky a pale orange colour. At this time Hybrid - Finished Symphony (the mix on Northern Exposure 2) and it was just bliss.

Even better place name in Austria https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fucking,_Austria It's alright though, in German it doesn't have the same meaning. It just means the people of Fuck. -

My god this place exists. Why? Y that's why! -
Thanks, but that doesn't satiate my need to be lazy. An extra step? Might as well just have less space

Wow, there's nothing good about this. The style, the production, the font, everything's just shit.
-
But the quality doesn't get the (negative) attention so people not into Darkpsy never hear it.

I think this is why done people say 24bit is better, the albums they've released are often remastered albums and sound better than the originals. I've got some 24bit Flac and after converting it to 16bit I cannot tell any difference at all. Does anyone know if on bandcamp, when buying a CD and downloading the Flac, it often only has a 24bit option but I only want the 16bit as my portable music player has only about 250gb of space which quickly disappears using 24bit. On topic The main reason I bought CDs was a collector's passion. I love having the physical product in my collection. A digital collection doesn't compare. Now money is tight I don't buy as much as I used to and as all my listening nowadays is digital I started buying the cheaper download version. Only a few still get the CD treatment, Ultimae and Sending Orbs are too beautiful to only get the Flac.

All the time. Usually when listening to a mix or when an album plays randomly after the one I choose finishes. Listening to some if my old mixes can be frustrating if I can't remember which track I am currently in love with.

Hello Pretty good here. How are you doing?

I'm burning my paid holidays before I lose them. Three weeks with nothing really planned. Just some family time in what is definitely Japan's best season!! Went to the beach yesterday for the first time in almost a year. That was great. I love the beach.

What an awful story. Why would a landlord do that? It's just sad that this crap still happens. Hope he gets PayPal going soon.

I hope so. For anyone who's not heard it, hear are my thoughts from my review of this some 9 years ago (@_@) my thoughts haven't changed 2. Hymn This is easily one of the greatest ambient tracks ever made. It's simple but infectious. At almost 28 minutes one might expect to get bored but I have never been bored listening to this track, NEVER! I am actually always disappointed whenever it's over. The same simple 8 note melody creeps through the track magnificently in different forms but always the same 8 notes over & over. A spoken sample The omniscient, omnipresent, wrathful, all knowing male deity comes in regularly giving this quite a dark trippy edge. The god of western civilisation has nothing to do with women. I have a desire to hear this track over & over & always wish it was longer. The feel is still deep sea with an underwater surf & all manner of strange creatures surrounding you, observing you, judging you. Deep, dark beauty at it's finest.

Thanks. It's tiring but rewarding!
