    My original thought was that there might be too much immigration but it's pure speculation. I did see a headline about the great barrier reef being damaged but I didn't read the article (terrible apathy) so I don't really know what it was about.

    You could probably get that response from a lot of people. A lot of music elitists thing their genre is the only "intelligent" one and all others are stupid music for stupid people. Honestly I think that 90% of any genre is crap and all genres have good, intelligent stuff.

    Metal singers often have such good voices but so many of the songs to me are too fast and end up not sounding so musical to me (although I'll sing any metal song at karaoke ) but for home listening I prefer slower deeper stuff like Disturbed doing this cover of the sound of silence. Does anyone have any recommendations for something similar?

    Odd how people perceive it. My head just cannot fathom how it can be a song if no one sings because the English definition of a song is basically a short poem or other set of words set to music or meant to be sung. If there's no singing it's not a song and reading or hearing it used for instrumental music just pisses me off. Quite irrational

    Me too, I just can't being myself to pay that much for just a download so I end up getting the CD. Half the price of the physical copy is fair in my head but....as the thread on buying CDs showed me, s lot of younger music buyers are confused why anyone would buy CDs and these probably wouldn't baulk at paying the same price. I've still got a tape deck and I still see them for sale but it would mean a lot of people would have to (re)buy one

    Cheers. I remember posting about it but it was the announcement thread that I was assuming was a review. I'll try and write a review while I'm at work. I recommend writing them in word in case something goes wrong in posting.

    Very much a fan. Not so keen on his more recent output but up until The Screen Behind The Mirror, his albums were all excellent. Le Roi est Mort, vive Le roi is my favourite if his. Love the atmosphere of it.
