  2. www.digital-diamonds.com :clapping:
  3. Nice tribal-ish trance can be found on Open Records! Nice stuff, mostly Australian. Also, check out Antix's album Lull.
  4. also, tons of completely free stuff here: http://www.ektoplazm.com
  5. Well, I can tell you now that you're not likely to find anyone on here who will help you download commercial releases. Most of us are diehard hardcopy collectors, hehe! But you can find tons of mixes here on Psynews in the DJ Promotion section! Also if you're looking for harder squidgier night stomper stuff check http://www.triplag.com/4room they're totally dedicated to that sound over there! For some good dark stuff: Penta Ghreg on Earth Derango Hallucinogenic Horses Jahbo Deviant Species Scorb Terminator Mubali Fractal Cowboys DarkPsy Quasar Parasense Kindzadza Attoya Guinea Pigs Atriohm Dominator CPC Kiriyama OSOM Xyla Zik/Matutero/Horror Place/Adrenal Glands (all same guy, different projects) Furious Candy Power Innersound Fraktal Noise Megalopsy Frantic Noise Metallaxis Polyphonia Red Cymazz Claw MWS Imaginary Sight Blisargon Demogorgon Para Halu Trippiehippies Hagenith Kerberos Narcosis Highko Whicked Hayo Fearkiller Stereographic Baphomet Engine Datakult Thats a good amount... 6. So, whatchoo think? I'd love to hear, even if its bad... Id especially love to hear from our resident techno people (Nemo? GSH? ) how horrible a job I did.
  7. If you look real hard about halfway up the pic you can just see the laptop screen peeking over the garbage.
  8. 'The Art of Mindfucking' is one of my favorites, as well as that one on the live set with the 'Dead Marshes' samples, ooh, thats a beautifully creepy track... Don't know the names to a lot of their stuff, but I love it. If anyone is missing their Live in Copenhagen in early 06 set, go here: www.cujorius.dk/live mu-mu-mu-mu-MMMMIIIINNNNDDDDD-FFFFFUUUUCCCCKKKK-IIINNNGG VA-Supermarket is a must-have, as well! And if you're so inclined, theres even the 24bit/48khz .wavs available on Ektoplazm, for a short while. (Can't burn that quality to a CD, but if you use Traktor or Serato, DO go for it!)
  9. I admit I loved it on first listen but didn't really appreciate it for the gem it is until recently! So much going on...
  10. Proud to call this one part of my collection!
  11. Well, this being one of my first dark releases I dug it, but after really getting into the massive world that is 'dark' (aka Night) psytrance, its paled in comparison to many... There's certainly some great tracks, "Hell Raver" for one, and its certainly a cohesive album, but... Just not as good as I'd have preferred.
  12. If you listen to TCD with Lull in mind you're probably gonna be disappointed, but if you just listen to it with an open mind you can hear just how good it is! Why would another Lull be a good thing, anyway?
  13. THis is probably one of my least-played prog releases... I really get tired of Oompa basses... And those repeated samples.. Man... Great sound, just too typical.
  14. After all this time, this is honestly one of my least-played releases... Not bad work for sure, just... IDK... Hasn't aged well in my ears...
  15. Love this one! Such a wide range of different sounds... Definitely one of my top 5 in this style!
  16. Personally I find Kindzadza's track to be overly heavy on the glitch... IMO. The rest of the tracks are pretty decent, though honestly there's not any that really stick out as being OMG WHOA. Candy Power comes the closest, in my eyes. I'd give it a 7.5/10
  17. Cujorius One-We Turn Our Faces Dirty Deep in a cave in the middle of the night! Of course, the acoustics would likely be terrible... But that's the atmosphere I feel from this one.
  18. Haha, funny you should mention that, I just was looking at Satisfaction, there's quite a few available on Discogs for pretty cheap. I think one was asking 5 euro for one in good condition.
  19. Not me either... I think you, Phobium, are probably the most qualified...
  20. This mix is a sort of experiment... A psychedelic technoid experiment... After digging all through Ektoplazm, Digital Diamonds, and Spanish techno netlabel Antiritmo for trippy techno and techtrance, Ive finally got enough different sounding stuff to create a nice mix to my own satisfaction. Due to the fact that most of this stuff is free net-releases, its mainly in 320k .mp3, so bear with that. Though, Ive always thought that techno sounds just fine in lower qualities... And bear in mind that I've never really mixed techno before, and that this is maybe the 2nd or 3rd time Ive ever listened to many of these tracks, so forgive any imperfections... So w/o any more BS: Cujorius One-We Turn Our Faces Dirty (Supermarket-Ultiva) K.U.R.O.-Mind Gardens (Global Psychedelic Trance Vol5-Spirit Zone) Hiroshi Oki-Retarin (Amaterasu EP-Digital Diamonds) Dosem-Off Sequence (Second Motive EP-Antiritmo) Alic-Evil Fairy (Evil Fairy EP-Digital Diamonds) Kuniaki Takenaga-Kadash Zilva (Granphantasm BLUE-Antiritmo) Midimiliz-Speaker Sneaker (Non Standards-Gravity Plus) simmetune-Die Flucht (Mechanik EP-Digital Diamonds) Nuclear Ramjet-Down the Wall (Liquified EP-Digital Diamonds) Midimiliz-Model 1 (Epi Centrum Rmx) (Abracadabra-Horns & Hoofs) Kino Oko-Industry of Broken Parts (Lost Entertainment-Horns & Hoofs) Ivar Oh-Nauseous (Nauseous EP-Antiritmo) RogerM-FreakXPress Yourself (My Own Particular...-Antiritmo) Sensient-Simple Sex (AntiFluoro-Zenon) MOS-Connected (Nerve Rmx) (Monarchie III-ZMA) Triac-Vaporized Triangles (Mean Between-Ear Peaks) DL: http://psystream.net/mixes/misc/Cyborgnosis.mp3 (rightclicksaveas) Check www.ektoplazm.com, www.antiritmo.com, and www.digital-diamonds.com, for tons of great free stuff! Thanks go to Basilisk, without his site I'd never have discovered half these tracks.
  21. Well, I did it again... I just spent the last 5 hours making a track. Its now 5am. Not only that but its a sound I haven't explored in a long while... Sorta night full-on type sound, think early Shift... Inspired by the Ohmu music in Miyazaki's "Nausicaa". Sounds good, maybe I ought to share it... I got the melody pretty spot on I think...
  22. For some reason I've been stuck on the old-style trackers since Impulse... Back in the day... IDK something about them has always sung to the computer nerd in me... And I've found nothing to complain about, regarding Renoise! Great sound, and if I chose to bother, even ASIO. Not bad for 50 euro! The newest version has so many new, fun, happy, great tools... Only a breath away from v2.0... Something about these progs, IDK, I've always loved the fact that they're either totally free, or as in teh case of Renoise, progressively improving. And w/ Renoise, all of us users get a say in what we want to see in the next version! Its kinda like watching a favorite TV show, eagerly awaiting the next episode... What will the hero do this time?
  23. NP- Manibus-Hello :posford: I just discovered today that Manibus is Nikola Vujnovic, AKA Prosper, one of my all-time favorite full-on acts! And, since Manibus just ended I'm now gonna play: Prosper-Synaesthesia from ZMA's Monarchie III, really one of the top 10 full-on tracks, IMO, of all time!
  24. VA-Supermarket (Ultiva) Free from Basilisk's site! Thanks again, you stone-gazer you! Get it: http://www.psynews.org/forums/index.php?sh...20&start=20
  25. Ive had a K.U.R.O. track on an old Spirit Zone comp for years now, never realized it! Nice one, and I stuck it in a mix, 'Mind Garden' from Global Psychedelic Trance vol 5. I've also discovered quite a bit of what I guess you could call 'techno that happens to be psychedelic'. By artists outside the psychedelic scene per se, but nonetheless make some pretty trippy stuff... Mainly Ive been digging around the Spanish netlabel Antiritmo, where I've found Kuniaki Takenaga, Hiroshi Oki, Dosem, RogerM, Ivar Oh!, and a bunch of other nice stuff. Check it out, its all free (but only 320k mp3). www.antiritmo.com
