  1. I should do a sunrise set next time or even, a daytime set!

  3. Record your set! I really enjoy the track, dreamy is very good, you have a solid style of morning goa trance I miss those soft simple square synths. Some criticism: Everything is stellar up until the new section beginning around 2:41 of this extract, it takes an aggressive turn, but then again you might take it somewhere awesome, I can't judge from just the extract (unless I hear the full track ), the goa melody you introduce brings the trance down a little bit and I'd like to hear the dreaminess continue, and stay in the clouds.. But like any feedback, this is just my opinion and you should do what you most strongly feel. Your morning style is a great blend of psytrance and melodic goa. Have you thought of expiramenting with really smooth side-chaining to get further away from the typical VB-1 full on bassline sound? Keep it up Michael, congratulations on the gig!
  4. okay okay okay, after like 50 requests... I'll upload it again Check back here soon! This was a special mix I did for DI.fm for their summer solstice event on the psy/goa channel, where they play new original mixes all day long. They asked me for another mix, so something like june 21st...be sure to tune in for a new one
  5. San fran and socal is the biggest hub for psytrance in the U.S. There are so many parties every weekend. I don't think we call ourselves ravers though... Stick with ravelinks.com, they like glowsticks over there.
  6. I'm fine with the fairies but what about the pixies? They are almost the same except that they will instantly become your best friend, only to leave you moments later for their "other best friend" and then "another best friend". Mischevious and tricksy, before long they are in a pile making out. They are perfectly safe, except for the perfectly mixed feelings they will leave you with
  7. Well he is very good too, and underexposed elsewhere. Omegahurtz is like Afgin if he did melodic full on. Its really sweet music. If there were like 5 of his tracks then something would be fishy
  8. Wax ones are comfortable, and conform to the shape of your ear Only downside is they get dirty but you can just keep them in a clever trancer's container.
  9. Don't judge by the sample Ugh, we need more psytrance like this!
  10. Not at all on a dancefloor, sound is great to my ears. The kicks are just very powerful which may be why you think the bass is dull. If I were to nitpick I would say the leads are too bright and typically trancey but who cares! that is only my taste, the music feels wonderful and the melodies speak emotion
  11. Aerosis DJ set 7pm to 9pm saturday evening, I've got the sunset slot
  12. Which one, jess? If its Stimula you'll get to hear me play some goa and its the most ellaborate of the many 3-day season starters going on this weekend. Etiquette... this can be fun, you need not know anything other than don't be shy to dance, no one cares no one is looking you up and down, its not about that its about bonding with the music and the experience of trance. I'm sure everything will hit you suddenly and instantly with a ray of light a sudden moment on the dancefloor when it will all make sense. Just know that everyone is out there to have a special experience with eachother, so don't be afraid to create your own and thus take part in it. Anyone will talk to you, shyness should not exist. Meet some people who will become your friends at future parties. I did forget something, there is one rule: clean up your trash. If you're going out in the desert the only way its possibl we can do this is if no trace is left, depending on who you party with we usually leave places cleaner than we found them. This menas if you smoke cigarettes put your butts back in your pack and if you have a call of nature, burry it, and just clean up your shit..the california scene is almost entirely out in nature so we can't afford to trash the environment or permits are taken away (or for unpermitted parties, the location gets busted, many very special locations have been lost in this way) bring more than plenty of water Personaly, knowing the cali scene very well I'll advise you to avoid the full-on mob if possible, they are too drunk and coked out all the time and just their vibe isn't so much about trance as it used to be...but then this is the full-on crowd in general i think. The psy prog / breaks / minimal techno scene is REALLY psychedelic out here, especially in those all nighters in the deserts. Have fun this weekend! Oh, and no glowsticks ever.
  13. I 100% recommend 50% of Puoskari very good experimenter and his psytrance has loads of fun suomi personality. - also free! http://www.mikseri.net/artists/?id=21724
  14. Suntrip sure has been busy... Release date?
  15. Getting this for sure Sounds like a really good CD, consistantly powerful goa style. Great job Mike!
  16. Not even UX - comes close to this track.... Okay who has more aliens in the track... Cerealogy or Master of The Universe. I've counted 113 in Cerealogy so far. Some are hidden in the crashes, you have to observe carefully.
  17. Seen it, quite a good one, although some of the plot and characters are a little childish and simplistic, but the rest is magnificent So should I bring up Serial Expiraments Lain? There is simply nothing like this anywhere, nothing comes close...as far as sureal and mind expanding goes, Lain tops my list. Actually I think it might be on the very top.
  18. If I know anything I know this indy movie will resonate with a lot of you here, since it does very much with me... This is a good movie for sure. I would be very surprised if i'm the only one who has seen it here, though it isn't a very well spread out film. Here is the IMDB profile...hopefully I can inspire you all to look it up and watch it "A man entranced by his dreams and imagination is lovestruck with a French woman and feels he can show her his world. " The Science of Sleep From one of the dream sequences from the film...describes it well --> I have a very particular fascination with any films that really go far out about dreams, or some form of surealist reality...I wonder if any of you share my taste? What movies strike you as particularly immersive and eye opening with regards to the unusual? I can mention the classic Memento to spur some of your memories, or to offer just an example
  19. About Filteria... for probably 2 years I didn't at all like the music. Then I listened to it again and understood what its about. Just load a bunch of it up and don't listen to it and you'll understand, Filteria is more energy than a focus on clever melodies. If you focus on the music you can't keep up and will find it chaotic, trance out to it and something else happens
  20. Okay whats going on here... this track is AMAZING. This has become my favorite track, its exactly how I like to hear the darker more playful kind of goa...and I find it extremely groovy, even silly in the most unabashedly psychedelic way ever But there is nothing else like this is there I mean specifically this track, the rest on tetrahedron didn't strike me as so otherworldly....hmm maybe because Filteria exists in this day and age. What do you gurus know that I don't? Any comments on this track and if more of this specific style exist? What I mean is...foresty spacey fx, rolling bumbling basslines, meticulously clever arrangement, plot twists, and general twistyness all throughout...subtle never predictable evolutions... I think I'm simpyl describing an awesome track at this point! If saucers came and started making crop circles...it would sound exactly like this track does Cerealogy...what did you think it was getting at?
