Why care about names anyway?! The music stays the same anyway, no matter how you name it. I understand where the name "new-school" comes, makes sense imho. It is inspired by old goa but still sounds kinda different. Doesn't mean that the old-school school goa is outdated. To me it's not at last, it's still great music and nothing can change that.

Hallucinogen - Jiggle Of The Sphinx maybe? I'm not sure if the melody that kicks in in the second half of the track really is a pagpipe but it's the only track that comes to my mind...

Totaly agree. Besides that, even if psy evolves into something I won't like I will never stop listening to the old releases (same is for goa of course). Because of that psy and goa will never die for me!

Yeah, Liquid Soul is also on my wantlist, but the others are more important...

Two points (imho of course): Just because you can't love something, do you automatically have to hate it? Just because it's not psychedelic to you, doesn't mean it's not psychedelic to all the listeners. Israeli full-on is VERY psychedelic to me for example (took some acid at a party this weekend and I was literarly blown away by the sound). But it's a matter of taste so....

I've just heard the last tracks of his set (or live) since I went to sleep after dancing the whole night (I'm more into full-on than prog) but the tracks sounded definitely nice. I need to check at home which cds I've bought lately really are from 2006. But I can allready recommend this stuff (don't know if you'll like it...): Flowjob - Support Normality Excellent housy progressive. Very nice melodies, sometimes using effects that reminds me a bit on the Enthogenic sounds (especially the long intro of the first track). v/A - Positive Alchemists Vol. 2 Melodic and goa influnced full-on.

I've heard this track at the Geometrix 4 party last weekend. Probably in the live set of Time Lock but I was high on acid so I'm not quite sure anymore about the exacty timetable (and the actual happenings) on the event. So I ask you people, does anyone of you know a song (very melodic trance) with a female voice sample (singing) "Sounds Of Silence"? I just have to have this song....

There is www.recordstore.co.uk for a lot of labels and style. Damn I used to buy trance records in a german online shop but I can't remember their name, very big shop with a lot of electronica. Damit, need to think...

I also like the Squaremeat cover, great stuff! Not the usual psy design but still trippy.
