  1. i want to buy a new mixer to connect my 2 discotec turntabels. later i will also buy some cds 100 by pioneer. which mixer would you recommend? i shouldn't be too expensive and the most important part is that it has two included bmp counters (one for each turntable). thanks
  2. This is the first psy ambient cd I bought so I'm not used to this kind of music. The first time I listened to it I thougt: "Well, it's kinda nice but why there's all that hype around shpongle!?" (don't get mad at me, just read on...). Then I listened to it again and it hit me: THIS IS GREAT! All the arrangements, the melodies, the voices, the samples, THE FLUTE.... Now I understand why people hype... This is so beautiful, it drives tears in my eyes sometimes.

    V/A - Hovek Olam

I'm really with the review above. the frist time i listened to this compilation i was kind of disappointed but now I like it a lot. It somehow growed on me. Takes some time but then..... Wooow. My favourite is Donuts, really awesome.

    Juno Reactor - Shango

Some of the tracks on this cd are so great they give me goosepumps even listen to them at home being totally sober... especially the first one, pistolero, is very powerfull. heard it at partys several times and it really drove the people to the dancefloor. With the Spanish guitar and the handclapping in it it reminds me a little of flamenco or gipsy music. The second track, Hule Lam, is also very powerfull with a lot of tribal drums in it. Something like an African tribal chant. Haven't heard this one at a party but I'm sure I would dance to it like crazy. The only other song I love on this cd is number 5, Masters of the Univers. It has a hard melody in it and the voice singing is also e little African like. The main beat is regular not tribal, but later some bongos or other drums are added. Also a part with a little piano. The song is the fastest on the cd and also a little darker than Pistolero and Hule Lam. The other songs are not my thing, very slow and dark and you have to wait very long until something happens in the music. Don't know if this shoulb be ambient? But the three tracks I like made it very worth for me to buy this cd.
  5. With every album IF chance theiry style a little (at least in my opinion) and so did they now. When I first put the cd in yesterday and heard the beginning I was a little dissapointed while hearing the first song. But then, the after voice sample starts ("infect me" really great!!!) it really gets me going. The music is powerfull and will sure rock at the parties, looking forward to hear it for the first time on a really big sound system. My favourite tracks so far are BP Empire, Never Ever Land and Funchameleon (I've only listened to the Cd 4 times) but I think that the songs will get better and better after hearing the cd more....

    V/A - Voojoo Rituals

One of the best compilations I've heard so far... Energy filled Israeli trance, melodic but also not too soft. Especially the tracks by Domestic Mushroom, Passanger and Infected Mushroom are killers and keep you dancing...
  7. I don't understand what people in their reviews are bitchin' about. This album is just great!!! Especially tracks nr. 6 and 7 are killers, but the others are also good. I heard nearly every song on this album at parties and they really rock the house. A must have!!
  8. Soft morning trance from Israel. This album is not as good as Luminus' second one but its still ok. The songs are very melodic and trance like and are also good to listen at home.

    Luminus - Hypnotica

Haven't heard Luminus' first CD yet but this one is really great. Melodic Israeli trance, but not too cheesy with hard beats. One of my favourites and a must have if you are not into minimalism....

    Yahel - For The People

Great debut album by Yahel. My favourite track is For The People, this one really keeps you dancing. But also the others are great. Yahel makes very melodic musig that keeps you dancing a long time.

    Yahel - Waves Of Sound

Really Israeli trance, sometimes even too soft. But still my favourite album. Not all the tracks are good, I espacially dislike The Only Way and Sun Scream. They are not very inovative and sound a little boring, but the rest is great!
  12. For me the MWNN-Remix kicks more than the stripped remix. one of the best tracks ever and surely a must have for every DJ.
  13. Absolutely my favourite song at the moment. I also love the other Infected titles but this one is topping everything. First heard it at a party and then bought the record. Great trancy melody with the same sound effects like Yahel's to the people. Real party music.
  14. Great sound, not too soft and made for parties. Really keeps you dancing...
  15. Not a bad compilation and really worth to buy. My favourite is Jiggle of the Sphinx that sounds absolutey crazy with the pipes. Also great is Astral Warriors, just the sample at the beginning is a bit odd.
  16. Good album with party sound, not to trance-like. Coming Home really kicks ass when you speed it up...
  17. Not a bad album but the tracks are a little too hard for me. I'm more into melodic sound. But some of the tracks use good samples, LSDance for example. I haven't heard a lot of tracks on parties, only The Evil Turkeys and Skywalker remix. And Skywalker Remix is also the reason i bought the album, very kicking. Especially when the melody starts after about 4 minutes....
