I would say 2000 was the year of Yahel. His tracks (Last Man In the Universe, Waves Of Sound, For The People) from the Wave Of Sounds album got played at nearly every party in the morning. He was also either loved or hated (and still is) for his emotional and melodic music but in this year he had his breaktrough.

I'm also not quite sure if I understood your point, Basilisk. Are you saying that you don't want to post reviews outside your own page because it's too much work for you to update them if you change your mind? If yes: Why update them at all? I mean you can still use sites like psynews to get view on how you looked at an certain album some months or years ago and have your updated homepage with your actual point of view. Or are you ashamed on your former perspective?

Planum - Elaborate is rather special. It's more melodic than full-on I guess but for me it's just great. Then there's Ion - Ionizer that is really great and of course Space Cat - Mechanical Dream, the Fairytale compilation from Alchemy Records is also great, Burn In Noise - Broken MP3 is nice... There are a lot of other good releases. Maybe you could you tell me some stuff you like so I can name similar artists or comps.
