  1. 35£ including shipping for the Alcyone picture disc from Pleiadians. It's totally awesome since it has the pleiadians star map pressed in it. It's limited to 200 copies and I got people offering 150$ for it but there is no way I ever sell.
  2. The albums you mention are quite my style, it's nice to see others appreciate them too! I've never heard of Tripticon but you mentioning that it's a Ticon project and the promising name just made me instantly order this CD. I hope it's as trippy as it sounds. How is it if you compare the sound of it with the last two Ticon albums?
  3. I'm listening to Kuba - The Place It Starts from the Chiller Vol. 1 comp. Just came home from a party where Skin (ex singer from Skunk Anansie?) played a DJ-set. Party was ok, best thing definitely was Skin. Her set was pretty mixed, she startet with some techno, then some awesome drum'n'bass and then some mixed dance stuff. The highlight was that she came down to dance with the crowd after her set, awesome!
  4. My vote goes to trance. I'm a sucker for melodies and climaxes plus trance is my first love in electronic music. But I do like techno too. Well, depending on what you call techno... If it's too monotone I can't stand it but I also like some minimal (well, the kind I like is called neo-trance by Gay Satanic Hippie so go figure) and of course tech-trance too.
  5. That's exactly what I'm saying since I've fist heard the Positive Alchemists comps.
  6. And another two new vinyls in the mail Ticon - Zero Six After http://www.discogs.com/Ticon-Zero-Six-After/release/584633 Matenda - Baraba / Great Human http://www.discogs.com/Matenda-Baraba-Grea...n/release/68546 I'm very curious about the Ticon album, the new one is great and now I hope this one is also good.
  7. The tracklist looks tasty, will download this as soon as my Harddisk is ready.
  8. I don't know much about the sale figures for psy albums but when I visited my local psyshop I discoverd that they are eliminating their CD stock. They will only sell a couple of the new releases but no old album (or only a few classics). They are now having a clearout sale for most of their stock which made me buy a nice couple of albums. I got told the reason for this cut is that they sell not enough albums to actually bring them money. I was always buying stuff there even when ordering over the internet is cheaper so this makes me quite sad actually. So yes, I think it's a bad year for sales. I can see it myself, I haven't been spending as much money for music as I used to.
  9. I've recently bought Tomtron & Liesegang - Movida on Soultribe Records http://www.discogs.com/Tomtron-Liesegang-M...release/1138434. It's a very nice progressive album that is highly psychedelic. It's rather calm not with too many layers or melodies at once but the effects and the melodies are top notch imho. It's kinda hypnothizing but far from being boring or monotone. I can't name a similar artist but I'm open for any recommendations.
  10. My favourite album in that category is for sure Planum - Elaborate http://www.discogs.com/Planum-Elaborate/release/532116, my second pick would be Lish - Free Fall http://www.discogs.com/Lish-Free-Fall/release/409721. I know Lish is rated as progressive but it's far beyond that for me because of the melodies and everything. It always kills me when I'm tripping and listening to that album, it's just so beyond everything for me. But that's personal taste...
  11. It's not only that. I mean the 4 minutes samples at saiko are nice but I mostly listen to music at work nowadays (because I spend most of my time working ) so checking out samples is not exactly an item there for too long. But listening the new mixes I've downloaded and keeping my eyes open for good tracks is nice and makes work more fun. It's also the reason for me hating DJs who don't post tracklists.
  12. As said before it's definitely not possible to keep up. For me it's not even possible to keep up with buying what I like since I don't have enough money for that. So missing some awesome albums is sad but true for me. I still feel like I hear or read about a lot of new stuff. Not only because of psynews and the samples on Saikosounds, having an eye on my favourite artists or labels but mainly because I download a lot of DJ-mixes. I've found a lot of nice tracks and (for me) unknown artists that way.
  13. I took a day off since I was expecting a package with records to arrive. And they did!! All minimal/electro/progressive stuff: DJ Josh Blackwell & Miss Babayaga DJ - Red Alert EP http://www.discogs.com/DJ-Josh-Blackwell-M...release/1283029 Moonbeam - Cocoon http://www.discogs.com/Moonbeam-Cocoon/release/1160767 Energy 52 - Café Del Mar Remixes http://www.discogs.com/Energy-52-Caf%C3%A9...release/1466361 Moonbeam - Spring Story http://www.discogs.com/Moonbeam-Spring-Story/release/1197909 John Shelvin feat. Molly - Just Like You Said http://www.discogs.com/John-Shelvin-Just-L...release/1640676 Robert Babicz - Purple Dance http://www.discogs.com/Robert-Babicz-Purpl...release/1491218 Moonbeam - Vodka And Sand EP http://www.discogs.com/Moonbeam-Vodka-And-.../release/852612 There here is some more psy stuff I've recently bought (it has been a good month so far!): v/a - Orientation Vol. 4 (Dacru) http://www.discogs.com/Various-Orientation...release/1537745 v/A - Stereo Slave (Echoes Records) http://www.discogs.com/Various-Stereo-Slave/release/1067840 v/A - Deep Electric Flow (Soultribe Records) http://www.discogs.com/Various-Deep-Electr.../release/733303 Atma - The Secrets Of Meditation http://www.discogs.com/Atma-The-Secrets-Of...release/1611497 Entheogenic - Colden Cap http://www.discogs.com/Entheogenic-Golden-Cap/release/700359 Kuba - How The Future Sounded http://www.discogs.com/Kuba-How-The-Future...release/1374240 v/A - The Swiss Connection http://www.discogs.com/Various-The-Swiss-C.../release/351149
  14. My favourite track ever with female voice is Sub6 - 7th Son (Ticon Remix). The original is great too but it's the Ticon remix that makes me lose my mind. Not only the voice acting is superb but also the music itself. Imho this track is a must if you want to show her how noice vocals can be. Another one of my favourites, even when it is more from the regular progressive/minimal side is Terry Grant feat. Jennifer Horne - I'll Kill you. Again the singing is absolutely mindblowing here. It what gives the whole track its sense if you know what I mean.
  15. Some more used CDs: v/A - Sonica (Neurobiotic Records) http://www.discogs.com/release/482404 DJ Noise - State Of Finger http://www.discogs.com/release/669901 Dave 202 - Mainstation 2008 http://www.discogs.com/release/1433714
  16. Also got a new one (and ordered some CDs for x-mas over my dad's credit card. ): Atmos - Tour De Trance http://www.discogs.com/release/1569573

I've ordered three times from goastore and never had any problems so I can actually recommend them. I will order a couple of CDs for x-mas myself.
  18. I bought Gaudium - So Called Life (http://www.discogs.com/release/1065168) this weekend. Some awesome tracks on it (especially 3).
  19. Nice finds, Abasio! I was so frustrated at work yesterday that I had to take some money out of my bankaccount to buy CDs. Here's what I've got (both from Iboga): Liquid Soul - Love In Stereo http://www.discogs.com/release/1474903 Ace Ventura - Re:Boot http://www.discogs.com/release/1542993 Just heard the first three tracks from Liquid Soul (Nr. 2 is totaly awesome!!!) and they sound great. I'm very curious about the Aerospace remix on Re:Boot.
  20. Found three nice used albums on my local psystore: Capsula - Synthesis Of Reality http://www.discogs.com/release/562303 Ololiuqui - Dito http://www.discogs.com/release/179190 v/A - Pure Imagination 2 http://www.discogs.com/release/427209
  21. From what I know Frozen Dream was warned several times for posting random stuff in various thread. Also when off-topic was still open. He never stoped or only for a short time so I'm not surprised that he was banned, even when I didn't knew it until I read about it now. Well, I'm not gonna argue with you but with that making sense in his mind thing peopel are basicly allowed to post whatever they want since it's impossible to read their mind and differ stuff that makes sense to them and stuff they just post to annoy others, to get attenction or for whaterver reason it might be. And even if it were possible, posting completeley random stuff that makes sense in your head only, maybe because you are high on acid (or also for other reasons that don't involve drugs) does not exactly sound like something that has a place in the general part of this forum.
  22. Gave the tracks some more listens and I doubt it's Yahel. But there are some similarities... I'd still be interested in the trackname tho.
