  1. Mark Allen - Shamanic Trance - Psiberfunk Mix By Mark Allen
  2. I am definetly up for this one enough of waiting though it turned into craving Hope it doesnt get postponed once more in 1st of october I loved the music on it, I dont care what people think Do you remember when FSOL made the Amorphous album Isness The same trip goes on here, and both of it makes me happy I love isness and Alice in Ultraland and I still love the rest of FSOL I love new younger brother and I ll keep liking the rest of the released Posford stuff
  3. Well Lumpi its not that easy, its a heritage from my ancestors, we are known to be shamans and we re called "kam" but if you tell me what do you think about these 2 Futureretro Revolution Sherman Filterbank 2 I might let you know how to be "making the landscape go slowmotion" trick and you also would look transparent and blurry

These photos are a little old, so my rack, my padkontrol, santoor and such is not seen, also the mixer is not there, I am planning to incorporate my analog mixer to use in mixdown situation, but its still not clear, if I am going to do or not. I promise I ll update it, its hell to keep things organized, and it drives me crazy, and I am kind a guy who dismounts every gear in once a week, change it to a better more suiting organization. Need some bass traps too...
  5. no, this is not the first time I hear an album cancel because of the leakage and makes me sorry once more I was hoping for this one to come out...
  6. I hope they go experimental at least like Gus Till - Dub Shadows this was a dubby feel but experimental album, I mean put breaks in it, put rock in it, put trance in it, whatever you do, do it with great attention to detail (as we know you) and make it uber-trippy I mean I do not expect much more original material from goa or psytrance (if they can do it, hail) But if they try and make fuses with acoustic instruments try to push harder, make music to trip to, and that was their case right, they always wanted to use their own instruments, sample their own sounds, its much cheaper to do these then it used to be 10 years ago, hell even I started my own studio to do these These guys are good to make trippy music, they re known for their creativity, I hope they make some original acid music, music that we can listen while tripping, music we listen to relive the moments of light, and more
  7. reading this was nice I wonder if any other people out there have any articles on how these guys setup their studios or tips on production blah blah, I mean things related with production, thats what I wanna hear from them, those are the parts I enjoy the most in their interviews too maybe some articles about those eh...
  8. By the way check out the new Logic Express It nearly! does everything that logic pro 7 used to do together with ultrabeat and sampler and some more (it has the plugins that are worth more than 200 for me) without any more annoying limitations on any channel make it midi/audio/buss whatever and it is 200usd 150euros I guess which is really a cool price I am trying to learn/produce on ableton Live 6 and everyhting is going fine, but I might add this express option in the coming months
  9. The new logic has surfaced It has much more friendly interface, single screen has no stupid xs key has all the details it had surround capability and for half the price now, it is 499usd I couldnt believe it, check for youselves http://www.apple.com/logicstudio/logicpro/
  10. definetly money well spent money is a piece of paper, for a piece of paper I get some piece of plastic with magical music that enhances my life after this silly and useless comment congrats for cameron for finishing this one up too hope everything goes well with his sample cd kinda thing too
  11. wow thanks for pointing this out these finds make me enjoy these forums thanks a lot havent heard since mama matrix from him should ve dug his name out
  12. enjoy producing with them mate you wouldnt believe how hard it is even to hear these stuff down in turkey just a few units in whole country please let us hear about the space rock project ps a prophet 5 too for cheap, now that is too much for me today i log off
  13. please do not let them repeat themselves one more time last album was a bad copy of their previous efforts they can do much better then that i will go buy this time again when the album is out and it ll be the last chance for me for entheogenic
  14. hey man, your album has just arrived at my office, cant wait to go back to my bungalow, and enjoy it throughly with my mates I just wanted you to know, your music has reached down to coastal line of Turkey and will be playing by the sea at our bungalow in the coming hours, that would put a smile on my face, hope it puts on yours too, keep up with the music...
  15. Lets hope this gets out on date first! One of the albums that I ve been waiting for eagerly is this one, The artwork is ok I guess I got the track "Rogue Bagel" and it has a very good production, everything ott going on but a bit too blumenkraft for me (I love blumenkraft dont get me wrong here) This guy is one hell of a talented songwriter and studio whiz, so i expect him to challenge me musically, both soundwise and genrewise, he can go beyond many, and may have gone hopefully, let hear on 19th of november...
  16. errm the guy is actually there they are actually that size prop knives the shadows are real not cg its an actual photograph as it is the style of storm thorgeson these are not my ideas but facts, so some previous discussion is in a way funny now for my own taste it is a very good album cover and completely different than the usual psytrance/ambient stuff like the music itself
  17. Theres nothing to do about it I got over 1200cds but I still crave for new music sometimes It seems I do not want to listen to those but something new, a new sound, a new progression, or the same in a different way... and my music view is broad I guess, I listen to psychedelic anything trance, dub, jazz, rock, electronica... Still sometimes I cant seem to find what I am looking for in the collection, that led me to start learning production though I now started working and hopefully in 3 to 5 years I can produce some interesting music according to my taste
  18. no they are not live and it is stated on the site also they re clearly overdubbed at the end of the tracks
  19. Check Far Too Loud for high quality and high energy psychedelic breaks its more dancefloor oriented but I dont think its suitable for homelistening(hometripping) like deviant
  20. www.myspace.com/taurusbabas Name of the track is Dirty Harry, the track does not stream(dont know why), you have to download in order to listen Well If you enjoy dub music, I hope you ll like this one. This is my first attempt right after I made my studio setup. This is my first take on dub too... I d love to get some comments back, thank you very much. If anyones interested, there are no plugins except battery 3 in this one, and I played it live with pads. The rest is the sh-201 and virus B and the nord lead 2, a guitar and a flute. The sample is from the movie "rockers", I sampled it out via wire tap pro. Delays and some fx are from ableton cause my fireworx still is not operational. My sequencer was ableton live 6. waiting for comments i saw that i couldnt write psychedelic properly on the title shitty me
  21. I got it and enjoyed it, though neither my mac pro nor my flatmates macbook could read the studio tours part but my old iMac could ??? Anyways its most probably because, it was the most important part of the dvd for me (murphies laws) I liked it, its packed with stuff, -you can watch people dancing in the party, the music is not live though and I prefer to listen to better sound than a rough recording made in a tunnel just for having it for the sake of being live -a photo gallery of people came in costumes at the same party -a nice dj mix by ott with classics to listen to while having nice visuals on the screen (very nice to smoke to with your friends) -the studio tours are really nice if not very informative, but whatever they did I believe I d still look for even more in depth stuff, so its actually good The Ott one is a classic. -the interviews are cool, and they re very amateur, simon turns red in his one with benji at some point, but I still prefer it to Raja with his sometimes too much energy (maybe I overlistened to what he says in the last few weeks, I got the supervision too) and these are actually good things. All in all its a very cozy dvd, and its intimacy gets me and still shows me no one is trying to turn into stars and they re in it for their love of music. and there is an audio disc too as if these were not enough It is ok, the new hallucinogen track is not groundbreaking, nice to have big tits on audio, the Ott track is lovely, it is very Ott and to my amazement his production is even better. I loved the Younger Brother and it makes me really happy, I am waiting eagerly for the album. The rest of the stuff we had on this or that album or comp, but it still is a big plus. The moment of truth : This is by far the best dvd ever on this scene period. So why bother, get it for fucks sake, these people are trying to communicate and make something nice. I really like to thank them as they re my fave label since they were born.
  22. Actually I do enjoy very ambient albums but its a very interesting genre, very hard to accomplish good ambient albums (tracks alone are incoherent in a way in this genre) so far from the psyside of things only solar fields and cbl along matt hillier satisfy me going into ambient the upbeat and playful stuff on the other hand that defies genres, like Shulman themselves are good at what they re doing, and I prefer to hear them to do what they re good at They re kinda limited in their unlimited genre, they can pay along everything, go jazz, back to indian music then turn into drum n bass but still it s actually their music. I dont know if I can communicate what I try to say but its an interesting paradox really. They re good at what they re doing which seem unlimited but not good at quality ambient, or quality drum n bass. They re doing an eclectic music, and doing it with a heavy dose of psychedelia and I love it, and that psychedelia element makes them free to experiment, and this eclectism maybe lets them not to cover the whole bases of the genres they re playing along. This is not something bad by the way... at the end its the music I love to listen
  23. ok now lets hope they dont release like twisted October 15th is not far away I hope its a much better effort than the track on the last aleph zero compilation I love shulmans earlier work, and I believe they can push some boundaries, lets wait and hear
  24. yeag find that out and then if we can pay through paypal I guess many of us have one considering the trades we do or the cd s we buy off the net i would be happy to contribute thanks mars for the efforts
