  1. Here is a new track I made this weekend People were interested in Future Retro Revolution, I recently got it, and this is the first track I finished with it. Here you can hear more than a few line of FR Revolution with and without distortion (Rat distortion unit) The track is a downtempo one (108bpm), that gets slightly crazier as the track proceeds lots of virus sounds along ms10 lines, some nord sequences and so on Hope you enjoy it www.myspace.com/taurusbabas the track name: Another World (303 edit)
  2. This is a downtempo track I made after acquiring my Future Retro Revolution you ll love the ending if you listen through it from the start www.myspace.com/taurusbabas the trackname is Another World (303 edit)
  3. yeah you are man... by the way, updates of my studio in the past two months are as follows: I got my Futureretro Revolution which is kick ass got a small problem with midi in though, I had to get this after years and years of listening to 303 through my life, its also great fun programming it. I really got the cool but toy mfb 502 tiny analog drum machine (this one looks like a toy all tiny but a nice analog toy, maybe I can make a small bassline synth to match this make it a small case for drums and bass with a matching amp and speaker to play at camps via solar energy, a real small cd case like rebirth of my own) I ve got my SPL Channel one Preamp that I am planning on using on guitars and vocals, this one is one of my greatest acqusitions sonically, Also got the motu 8 pre as an extension for my motu soundcard, I need those inputs for the stuff I got, the days of aggregated devices starts I have given my sh 201 to one of my friends brother so he could start up on synths (spread the love hehe) Planning to get the sh 101 still and found a decent little phatty for a good price just waiting for my paycheck I continue to make music and the gear I buy shapes around that, I will be posting new photos soon...
  4. holy fuck, they were in this months computer music I was thinking wow they really had kept this project goin and now bam.. by the way Steve is kind a of a hidden eat static member, he most probably will stay that way the worst thing is the live act will never be the same again but I believe Merv will keep us rockin and bouncin or whatever weird things he does to us
  5. Here is one more, this is the most trancey track we have made, hope you leave some comments too, it seems its really hard to get some feedback in here... www.myspace.com/taurusbabas the tracks name is Brain Damage
  6. thanks serquei, by the way I used to enjoy your half live feel psychedelic tracks, i see you have new projects now, I ll check them out
  7. Hello, yeah I play the santur, the setup has changed a little more, as I ahve given up the sh201, got a futureretro revolution, but mostly the same. The desk is a hotel desk, as I work at a hotel I got it from there. They re known to be really long If you dig the santur, altough it is a short repetetive riff you can hear it in a track of mine at www.myspace.com/taurusbabas the tracks name is vadi means valley if you re wondering what I am doing with these synths check out my other stuff www.myspace.com/enlightenmentunderground
  8. www.myspace.com/enlightenmentunderground This is my second project besides the psydub/psyambient one. This is more atmospheric, more ambient and for me more psychedelic. Hope you enjoy it. We are trying to make a 70 minute trip and this is just one part of it. It will also be played live (me playing the anlog synths, samplers, and a computer and my friend at his guitar and fx, accompanied by another synth player) with live visuals hopefully this summer.
  9. no for tech stuff you cannot import old tech, and for new ones if its worth more than 100euros than you have to pay customs fee, which doubles the price the stuff you buy, like 500 for the synth and 400 for the customs You can get one and take it with you on a plane however they woudl not bitch about it most probably, otherwise I would never hesitate to buy that juno for 400, I am ready here to pay 600-700 for that
  10. i would love to get your 106, but turkish customs wont let it pass and the mks too, though that price is out of my range but I am sure I could have get the 106 if not for the customs wouldnt fuck it up
  11. High quality 320kpbs download for the track http://rapidshare.com/files/69613113/vadi.mp3.html
  12. You can listen or download our track at myspace Its a simple (acoustic guitar, santoor, percussion plus synths and sampling) chilled track We hope you like it and enjoy it to smoke to www.myspace.com/taurusbabas
  13. man I cant believe you have chosen the andromeda instead of prophet 8 Have you had the chance to listen both ? Prophets sound is so good, and the modulation possibilities are more tha enough Andromeda spec sheet may sound better, but I wish you have tested both Prophet 8 came out and is very very desirable for me Really and you re into ambient, wish you could have heard its filters The soundscapes you could have with it... And the ensoniq is nice but I would look for Waldorf Wave if you re specifically interested in eat static sounds New nord wave is also seems promising About the Juno I do not have much to say By the way good luck sequincing and recording these babies You do not have the computer approach You ll need higher quality stuff (regarding your mixer, summing mixer, dat or tape recorder) for getting the best out of it for these seemingly unlimited dynamic ranged products
  14. yeah mine is the Quadraverb 2 too actually I am really looking forward to eventide s delays, I know I cant get em, but at least I want to be able to try and hear them, they did some crazy things under the name delay.
  15. It may sound weird but I enjoy my Alesis Quadraverb old but it still sounds good to me, the ping pong delay is ace just like I want not even bad for obbvious reverb effects, rather than high quality reverb it has colored nice sound of its own
  16. well I think this is one of the bast albums someone from this scene has ever created This is psychedelic music at it best, not ambient, not trance, not indie but a perfect blend thanks to these people for they have enhanced my life more than a few times
  17. I got the emu xboard 49 and it is great i use it through midi no problems its got a lot of knobs too so good to control your soft synths or your modules
  18. Send one to Turkey mate, I already got one of your albums but this is an opportunity to get the other two pm sent.
  19. I think the one who is missing from the list (I havent seen it maybe its there but anyways) ILHAN MIMAROGLU probably one of the most influential, original and innovating man in the history of electronic music, his first completely electronic music compositions date back to 1965 He is also reffered by Process (I put this one because of relativeness to the scene) and also people like Jon Anderson who is the lead vocals for the group `Yes`
  20. the moment I got the mail I ordered the lp and the cd I felt like a child, it seems I havent been this much excited for a long time about an album
  21. you really need to give some more details what equipment are you using, the soundcard the os, everyhting what have you done, have you configured your logics audio, midi preferences, if so what have you done? more details you give, more better so that I can help you
  22. what? so thats it, releasing the old ones in mp3 and I was thinking of new experimental psychedelic music
  23. psyshop now has the samples go and check them out its hard to believe its a 80kbps mp3, the production seems top notch music sounds more mature and more ethnic influenced I was hoping for a mushroom therapy kind a track but maybe samples do not provide it will be happy to buy this one
  24. well it has no connection whatsoever according to my ears to the sh line. I like it, its really simple and effective to learn subtractive synthesis with and I can get really cool bass from it coupled with the tc fireworx the pads are nice, the supersaw is fine, the layout is so simple, I can get the sounds I like faster than the virus with this one, altough not as strong but its not strong I always look for, the thing has its sound so it can have a place after all the sound is not analog but its nice overall, it feels a little cheap but I dont take it out from the studio so I dont have any worries I am looking for a sh 101 and a sherman filterbank for my setup to be complete for now theres already too much in there, and it really takes my time to really really learn them from inside out
  25. well the psyreviews have already reviewed it at least some people have heard it and he says it is the shit woohooo
