Well, just in case you don't find it your cuppatea... would you PLEASE consider reselling to or trading it with me? You'd me make really happy! In the mean time... check what I have to offer in the trade section... cannot link somehow. :S
  10. Thanks to Nemo for reminding me to listen to Richard Cheese. This is really cool stuff, Weird Al Yankovic style remixes of famous classics. NP: Welcome to the Jungle, lounge-style. hahaha!
  11. ^Me too. It had been a long time since the last really good psychill compilation. This one surely does the trick! Right now listening to Wonderful stuff too, awesome compilation right here!

    Secede - Tryshasla

Brilliance! I've been trying everywhere to get my hands on this album... not even the recordstores here have any copies left. Bastards. They desperately need to reprint this. Leraine is an instant classic, wonderful song indeed, nice collabo with Kettel. But man, I really can't get enough of this album. Really organic and touching piece of art. Just lovely.
  13. Some of the albums I recently found in my mailbox were... VA - Downbeat Liquid vol. 1 VA - Left Coast Liquid vol. 1 Spyweirdos - For children to play OOO - Upon Cycles VA - Wider Horizons Western Rebel Alliance - Western Rebel Alliance Unstable Elements - Technical Illusions
  14. Good album, but I think I would rather see a chillout album by the man. The tracktitles and artwork are hilarious, even though I suspect he means it seriously... discogs at least claims he's a biologist and was inspired by nature while making this cd. Anyhoo, I like it. Some of it sounds like more of the same to me and not of all it is totally my taste, but this is definitely a cool album. Click-house, microhop, whatever you wanna call it, this is original stuff. And track 9 is just amazing, very nice!
  15. Had one listen and hated it so far. Will give it at least one other try.
  16. I've tried several times, but I can't help being not too impressed by this one. Not one song really stands out for me, and overall it sounds just a little too samey samey for me. I really dug the first two chapters, but this one just lacks that _extra_ touch for me. Couldn't find one track on there (ok, maybe one) that I would play in a chillout set and that's usually a good sign for me that it's not all that. I agree very much that Shen's Cloud Theory sounds like bluetech. Each time that song plays I think it's Bluetech's. It's a good song though. True to Nature's Ghetto is quite alright too... nice upbeat chillout. And well, what about Crowd Control? They have it in them to make good songs, really nice chillout tracks, but for me they just ruin it with those goddamn cheesy vocals. Seriously makes me want to remix their song, just to edit out the vocals. I had the same problem with Ivory Town which was on FP2. Too bad. Anyhow, as I said, this one is somewhat of a disappointment to me. Not as good as the previous two ones.
  17. Can't really agree with Anoebis' desciription of "trance-ambient" but I do agree that this release deserves more attention. It's really good actually! The best songs are in the beginning though, at the end it gets a little bit boring and repetitive, but there's a good number of great songs on this album. It's not too psy-inspired, and leans more towards idm than psybient, but that's more of a description than a judgment. Cause I likes it! I love this cd, it's refreshing, it is indeed melancholic, beautiful, fragile and melodic. Beat-wise it's - as I said - more idm-ish than psychill. More broken than straightforward beats. Actually, if you want to know what Technical Illusions is about, read Ormion's review, it gives a good idea of what this album is about. Go get this people, it's refreshing, original, well produced and diverse. Some songs are more acidic, some are just ambient, some are Orbital-like breakbeat ish, there's some spooky stuff and a lot of emotion.
  18. I love how almost every single record or cd NilsTentacles has, comes with a psychedelic cover. Beautiful! Very eye-pleasing!
  19. I just organize it alphabetically. Usually I know what cd is in what cd-case, so I can find the cd I want within seconds. Easy as pie!
  20. Brazil must be one of my favorite places in the world. Superduperfriendly people, amazing nature and ditto climate, too many (literally) things to see and do... but I have to admit I've never been to a party there. But what Divine said seems about right, very commercial and full on, I imagine almost Israelike... eew!
  21. One of my most common annoyances... you buy something at which you reckon a good price and then the shipping costs are $7 , to ship from the US to the Netherlands. Even that is outrageous imo, because I just know it's not that expensive. Kagdila was gonna charge me that, while their cds cost about 10 us. Fuck it then, I'm sorry, but please be honest about it beforehand. I hate these 'surprises'. I'm with pat.
  22. Could anyone just link to the Eat Static topic? Would be way easier. ES is even one of my favorite chillout-producing groups. All their side-projects rock ass as well. Hi-Fi Companions, Flexitones, Dendron... oh whatever, this is old news, bring back the old topic. Raditopics suck anyway.
  23. Cover looks indeed nice, but I really do not dig the font that they use... and that's about all I have to say on this for now.
  24. Hadee fucking haha! That is one horny moose on the cover. Funny!
