  1. supergroover says: as a company that wants to press a cd in a legit and good quality pressingplant you HAVE to be a member to be able to clear the tracks/artists that you want to put on that disc. otherwise the pressing plant will not press it for you. strange but true. so as a legit record company you have to be a member in order to release anything. so your idea sounds nice but misses its goal imho. nemo take a look here its dutch but has loads of and downloadable pdfs. otherwise check the swedish alternative i am sure it works pretty much the same way. it is complicated but makes sense in general. for some cases it does not make sense and that sucks. Nowadays the composer and performer are usually the same (especially in electronic music) which was not the case with most music a while ago. this means labels have to pay for composer and performer thus paying twice for the same piece of music. But only if the artist is a part of any such organisation in his country.
  2. CBL - Photosynthesis But the whole album rocks ass...
  3. I had to bump this... anyone still interested? Instead of trading, we could do a psyshop-swop or something... all cd's are as good as new. Make me an offer I can't refuse!
  4. Artists as in groups or as in persons? Well, since you named groups as well... let me tell you what I think would be the most psychedelic group evarrghh imo. Eat Static indeed! Future Sound of London from ten years ago all Orb formations Pink Floyd (including Syd Barrett) Aphex Twin (ok, this just sounds like a compilation of my heroes) But fuck, this shit would be versatile, highly original and even more psychedelic. Oh yes, I'm liking the idea.
  5. I didn't like it.. too superficial, too easy, not enough deepness so to say. I think other people might enjoy it, though, but I for one found it a little bit too accessible? Does that sound paradoxical? It's kinda how I feel about it... ?
  6. Indeed! Looks like a lovely parteeh. May I ask: where did your signature come from? Funny stuff!
  7. Talib Kweli & Hi Tek - Train of Thought straight up yo!
  8. agreed. except for the last pic with the mic (da pike wit da mike), but that's because I know he's a horrible singer.
  9. Ok, a few months later and the collecter in me couldn't help it. Sorry. ISDN Lifeforms Accelerator Dead Cities AA's Tales of Ephidrina Cascade Expander Lifeforms My Kingdom We Have Explosive Papua New Guinea Papua New Guina: Translations Far Out Son of Lung and The Ramblings of a Madman I just had to have all of 'em. I don't care too much for Alice in Ultraland, the Isness or the Otherness... But man, are they all worth it. Those remixes: incredibly trippy. One of these days I'm gonna do a FSOL-only mix. Pure freaky psychedelia... I wonder if they ever really performed live somewhere? I've never heard people about it...
  10. People bitch about music? Why would they do that?
  11. Wow, a little bit dark, but I love his style. Very imaginative, creative and expressive. Nice!
  12. I find it nothing short of breathtaking. And I always find FSOL's best albums for cheap everywhere. Really, paying more than 6euros for any of their albums (at least Lifeforms, Dead Cities and ISDN) is unnecessary. So many copies out there. Hope you enjoy it, it's one of my favorites!
  13. I need music that actually stimulates me to take in my knowledge better... usually it's just distracting because it's more interesting than the study material. And listening really well to music and writing smart stuff don't go together that well in my opinion...
  14. Items Bought: Pressure Drop ~ Elusive Used CD - Price: $1.19 Aphex Twin ~ Selected Ambient Works, Vol. 2 Used CD - Price: $7.99 Sasha ~ Airdrawndagger Used CD - Price: $7.99 The Wiseguys ~ Antidote Used CD - Price: $1.99 Tipper ~ Tipper Presents Sound Off Used CD - Price: $5.27 Various Artists ~ Abstrakt Workshop Used CD - Price: $3.97 Various Artists ~ Braindance Coincidence Used CD - Price: $4.47 Datach'i ~ 10110101 = (Rec+Play) Used CD - Price: $5.97 Copy Paste et Voilá. Some I know but didn't own yet, some I didn't know and was curious about. I find the more or less random buying without prelistening exciting. Sometimes you find something great, sometimes you get total bullshit, but with these prices it's worth a gamble.
  15. Thanks DP... just placed my order!
  16. hence the frequent breakdowns, resets, reboots etc? it all makes sense now!

  18. Gulf Breeze just has to be one of my favorite uptempo psychedelic tracks ever... amazing. Also, Abduction I play quite a lot in chillouts, very emotional melodies in there, just wonderful. The album as a whole is also one of my favorites of all time...

  20. I´ve downloaded this and so far listened to ... Okapi, Interplanetary Materials, Wakka Chikka Wakka Chikka (porn music for the masses ) and Coconut Rocket Monkey and VA - Two Zombies later! those two I really dug from the beginning on. I have just selected the coolest names I could find, hehe...
  21. You know what I really don't get? A lot of times I put a cd in my cd player (at uni it's just windows media player) and the tags are wrong most of the time. I look it up on discogs, and the time for each track is usually correct. However, the names are all wrong. How come? I do think discogs is right, though. Oh wait, I looked at the back of my cd, and discogs is WRONG. Damn.
  22. Just to add a little more praise, I've completed maybe 4 deals with him so far and all went super smooth. I would recommend him to anyone, I have never had any problems with sales, communication or condition of my cds. As recommendable as they get I just wonder how it's possible to sell the cds for so cheap. I don't get it!
  23. Wow, look at this one: 3 people have it, about 250 people want it. Looks like a VERY wanted cd (I had never even heard of it...) http://www.discogs.com/release/15285
  24. I'm so tempted to go... so tempted... so tempted... maybe even more than with the previous twisted party. arrrrgh
