    Insomnia

How active are you in the day? Excersize could do the trick. Hope you make some progress with the insomnia, it sounds awful!
  2. I'm anxiously waiting for Psykovsky's new album, i'm a bit of a Psykovsky fanboy and love the direction he's taking dark psytrance in. Also Derango, but I don't know if it will ever happen? Sort of waiting for AP, but i'm not holding my breath for a quality output. Are any of the old masters aware of the neogoa movement or is it still too an obscure a style?
  3. Psykovsky goes beyond your usual glitchy fast dark psytrance imo, really advancing the genre and creating something that can be enjoyed in a different way, not so much about pumping energy, just beautiful movements through sound! If you really like it listen to Tanetsveta, it goes even further! In huge contrast to this i'm listening to Sky Input I've been listening to Filteria's stuff all day and last night, I'm addicted!
  4. Kindzadza Para Halu Enichkin Lost Buddha Furious Out: Kiriyama
  5. Just been giving this one a proper listen and it has really blown me away. I always vaguely liked Filteria simply because it's powerful, and sometimes a running theme in newer Goa is it lacks the sheer power of older classics like Teleport etc, but my god, this is probably the most powerful psychedelic trance album i've ever heard. Constant scream of beautiful melodies, that genuinely never become boring on repeated listens, and only very rarely border cheesey. Filteria maintains a hilarious amount of psychedelia with this album, something melodic newschool also lacks, often the storm of melodic power breaks down into a soup of mind-twisting sounds, to re-emerge even stronger. And underneath it all is a fat bass, swirling acid and a strange calming beauty when you allow the tracks to flow through you. Filteria has made something incredible here, and i'm off to give the rest of his output a solid listen! 9.5/10 (just falls short of the ten because it can begin to sound similiar, this is hardly a problem however when the sound is sheer beauty and power in trance form)
  6. Kindzadza The Nommos Enichkin Mubali Atriohm Out: Overdream
  7. Really interesting! Especially for someone like me who had barely been born at the time and has always looked for videos of the parties themselves Thanks.
  8. Crop Circles Cosmosis Sandman The Infinity Project Witchcraft Out: Indoor
  9. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6o4akJm8oy8 Absolutely, perfectly beautiful
  10. Kozmik Tentacles, I have heard of almost none of your purchases! Are you mostly into abmient? I rememeber getting a Robert Henke album after seeing the cover image you posted and it was some serious ambient!
  11. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/3605263/Cat-hugs-kitten-after-nightmare.html This is the cutest video concerning cats I have ever seen! It's also hilarious because it is headlining news, UK media, heh.
  12. Ott - Blumenkraft , really thinking this one is overrated :/
  13. Spirallianz Eat Static U.X Blue Planet Corporation Slinky Wizard Out: Tim Schuldt, just because Spirallianz is better and more innovative, and I like all the others more.
  14. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6y0OO3B8KVY Love this one too.
  15. I got Dementertainment two days ago and it has certainly not been a dissapointment! I can definetly vouch for that, as well as The Delta - Schizoeffective, and Scorb - Ipso Fvcto.
  16. Hey hey, you've missed one list out.
  17. Toi-Doi Etnica Juno Reactor Blue Planet Corporation Slinky Wizard Out: The Manipulators , never heard of them , goa? @Procyon, I asked Richpa about acid trance and he said it's fine, just keep it on the psy side of things.
  18. Looks absolutely beautiful, I do think that the slower music can be just as good as the faster stuff we have nowadays, i'm always shocked at the evolution in pace and tension. I was just listening to Project II Trance and am time and again struck by its more leisurely tempo, groove and enhanced atmosphere, rugged psychedelia.
  19. Very sorry! But Double Dragons, Angelina and Let's Turn On are three of my all time favourite pieces of music, and you're still a genius hehe, not a dishonour to be second to Doof. @ Procyon, seems like a good idea, but I didn't think the artists had to go together, it's just personal preference, still a comment would be nice. Ka Sol Etnica Sandman Jaia Union Jack Out: Logic Bomb (Red Herring = )
  20. By too polished I don't particularly mean in mastering, more in the instrument choice, there's no organic feel, old school Goa feels so alive, but this new stuff feels distinctly manufactured. Your examples of theme based music are nice, however I still don't think they touch the impact the themes had in the nineties. The themes serve more of an additional purpose, names of songs and albums etc, when you compare the most sci-fi influenced track from today (or any) with for example, Aliens by Elysium, Total Eclipse or Eat Static, there is no comparison for which is in fact more "alien" sounding. By the way, Artha is an exception in this, he is making music with a unique sound, and acid growls!
  21. Nice winamp skin, i'd use Winamp except every time i've tried within a space of a few months it has wiped itself clean and i've had to load everything on again. Really like my background
  22. Derango Etnica Sandman Jaia Sound Pollution Out: Total Eclipse
  23. I know exactly how you feel! It's ridiculous!
  24. Tandu Etnica Transwave Cosmosis Doof Out: OOOD
