Was like 400-500 people last year, now i think it will be double that number

Organization very professional for such small and new festival. Crowd warm and really pleasent, same goes for locals. Nature lovely if you are fan of forests! It's not cold in nights (was like 15 degrees celsius), as camp is in forest there is shade all the time, you can rest in daytime without annoying sun... also nights are much warmer in forest. One of best festivals for me imo. 3 days passed in blink of eye. No backstage, so you can meet some of your favorite artists, have fun Very cheap festival starting with tickets, then drinks and food with silly prices! Soda/beer was like around 1 euro only, restaurant food 2-2.5 euro really big portion. There is village few kilometers next to festival, so you can go shop in markets if you need something... Soundsystem crystal clear, decorations beautiful, fantastic chill stage in forest with many workshops and art exhibitions. Now combine that with such lineup... you get so much pleasure for almost no money. Nobody should miss it

Someone told me back in beggining that there are no money from releases but from gigs. And it was true. I released 50 tracks got payed for couple of them only, 50 track ~ 300-350 euro. Same money you get for single gig if you are 'mid-known' goa producer. Even on some huge and well known labels in progressive/psy scene you dont get a cent. In Goa scene people still prefer to buy cds and Goa cds are better sold than psy/prog as i heard. In their scene digital EPs got more promotion than CD releases. My friends lately released some albums on top labels and i asked them how much they got as is top label and music. They said none and i was like wtf. But we got 10 gigs fixed by label in few days and each per 1k euro. And thats deal going around scene these days. Label doesnt have to pay you but you earn 10x more. Better for both sides imo. Releases are promotional, money is in gigs unless you are legendary name now and you can have whatever you want. Ektoplazm is extremely great for promotion, sometimes more people hear for you on Ektoplazm than releasing CDs, promo CDs, Beatport etc...

Psytrance/Trance as whole is 'bass music'. Main focus is on bassline and bassdrum/kick and those 2 gives you the groove and drive, percussions and background sounds gives you rythmics, melodies gives you emotions and energy. Sadly, today they know to make 8 minutes track with kick and bass variations like fullon bass, galop bass, swing, offbeat, triplet and few one shot samples. Why is that? It's clean and good for stomping, people loves that and people will come to such gigs, so festivals earns huge money and festivals prefer that, so do they producer. It's easier + you earn 10x more money. But as i am coming from shithole named Serbia, only thing im proud of are producers from this country. 90% of them are TOP quaility while most djs/crowd hitting for Beatport Top 100 'psytrance'. Tesseract Studio + Transcape Records are some of the best we can offer to world. Talpa & Zyce probably one of most known names and one of the best production quaility. Yes, Tesseract sound is commercial but still far more melodic and interesting than most of prog releases. Psilocybian who is just simply fantastic producer he said lately: Talpa's production is so clean it breaks diamonds lol Sonic Entity aka Imaginarium... thats one top psychedelic trance music with goaish touch. Alternative Control and Freaked Frequency 10 years ago in fullon golden era... melodic emotional euforic trance for masses still top quaility. And many many more! Sometimes i am feeling ashamed standing next to such producers and people while im not an 1/10 part of them. I would say that psytrance is bigger than ever now. But what is big for you now? Number of the attenders or number of attenders that actually understand, follow and support such music instead of just getting wasted and stomp? For me it's second ones. I am playing active for couple of years now, done around 70 gigs, played for 30 people, played for 3k people. Hey, for goa thats massive event! Last gig i had was private bday party of the dearest fan and trance friend... 30-35 people who knew background about every single track i played, people who are just simple listeners but some of them know more than me. You as producer/dj got inspired by attenders, not them by you. Now that was 'biggest event' for me

Few days ago i saw this 'psytrance' getting big: https://www.facebook.com/kobiblastoyz/videos/10154190539464771/ First of all its not psytrance at all, and psy wasnt made for MTV but underground scene. Brazil, Mexico and Israel found way to (destroy) spread it and make it big and commercial. All you need to do is make kick-bass and nothing for 8 mins. I just adore CamelSpace and Tantra. Tantra is used by many artists specialy in psy/prog scene... but its very hard for CPU and RAM.

They have creepy atmosphere, that enough forest for me. You should hear such tracks live, whole new dimension. Visit Lost Theory if you can or MODEM, top notch forest and dark music

The darkest track i heard lately isnt dark psy at all: And to me forest these days is much darker than dark psy, example: And more groovy and danceable

Sensitive theme... First of all - man used meat since beggining. Plants are living beings just as animals, they look different, they cant scream or try to run when you cut them but they can feel. It doesnt make you anything more human or better person if you just eat plants. You killed living being - chicken or salad or corn... But yeah big industries are even more cruel, they just cut them and let them bleed out or dont even wait death. But for example local farmers here use captive bolt before so animals wont feel agony or be aware of upcoming death... lets say a more human way. Technologicaly humans advanced so much and we have all sort of technology needed but we dont use it. That's problem here, not eating a meat. What can we do is to try avoid big markets connected with big industries and go buy it from smaller shops and markets or directly from the people in village until some law which can try stop industries doing such things... they kill so much animals for meat and probably third of it ends in trash instead feeding poors and homeless people. There should be extra law for such thing!

Here you are talking about fullon, which is melodic. Pure psytrance i love psychedelic, acidic and with a lot of atmospheres and modulations. If you really want melodic stuff go check Dacru records. Personaly i adore NANO records and Digital Om productions, mix of fullon and psychedelic, elements from both:
