Wow, that's great news ... do you know if there's going to be a physical one? (Because I don't have it in physical ) You probably meant MORGANIXX. There's Magnetrixx = Stefan Lewin himself and Morganixx = Stefan & Heike although some Magnetrixx tracks are also made by both of them ... so you can't go by that rule of thumb either Oh and don't forget Autiomatrixx = Magnetrixx and Audiomatic
-
And don't forget Hatikwa & Datacult - Scientific Mutation https://www.discogs.com/de/Hatikwa-Scientific-Mutation/release/13190968
-
I used to like Beat Bizarre a lot, yes ... and he's still around as a solo project (at least he released something last year)
-
Ummm ... wasn't a "Vegetarian" a term for somebody who had not yet tried LSD? I think we had this very conversation right here on this forum maybe 16 years ago where I read it ... oh wait, this thread is just as old

He should check out the Growling Machines remixes of Celldweller: (oh and Celldweller in general, he will like, but that's not electro) That one maybe too: Oh and maybe he's one of those guys that already know and like Pendulum (which, if he doesn't know, he should go check out a.s.a.p. because they are the most metal<-> electro (dnb to be specific) crossover that I know) ... then he should check out the Quemists and Zardonic: ... but with that video it's rather: "metal for electro fans" ... I'd say and then there's the whole Retro Wave genre that will vers likely appeal to metal fans aswell ... I can recommend Dan Terminus but anything by NRW will probably do
-
I know it's not psytrance, but the Mayday is going online aswell and making a stream ... might as well drop by and catch Anthony Rother play live if you've got nothing better to do:
-
Let me guess Still no sign of it, right?

As for the AI music, I am going to be very modest ... I want: A new S-RANGE album. And a Magnetrixx album. Oddly enough, a new Etnoscope album is not needed to be generated by AI - we rather need a plain "unintelligent" electric shocker to get Raz up and going ... and forgive me that I said this, because I don't even know him personally, but I can report first hand that even trying to get into contact is already difficult at the moment ... for me Okay that is pwnage ... cool stuff ... I want a psytrance one
-
Took me till today to find this (gonna pretend that the underrated-ness of the track is responsible for that), but indeed, Magnetrixx is also still alive - or at least he was in 2019, which is still quite recent: I think Didgeridoo is a fabulous track ... what do you think?
-
Found this, had to share it: It's so odd for me to see these images I know from modern "goa" videos and have these guys play metal ... and it's really not bad ... hope it's the same for you

Maybe both? We need more! Imma see about it. Maybe I'll just buy tiny amounts so they don't take you down... We are trying to create a self-runner on youtube and try to trigger the algorithm, by all means at our disposal

Hallucinogen - Third Toke (TR089, Twisted Records)
RTP replied to psytones's topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
Cheers for the laugh I had to wait all day actually to finally find an April Fools joke ... people have become way too serious and sad because of the Covid situation right now... -
That's a pity As of now, the video is at 2.251 views, 225 likes and 2 dislikes. That's a considerable number of views that was either not delivered or removed by youtube. Understood - won't buy more as it's pointless and might only get you in trouble. But we learnt something, didn't we? Or not? Edit: apparently removed by youtube - they have a very specific method to detect these kind of fake views and remove them if they seem shady ... the numbers aren't faked, but the views get removed if not acquired properly Oh and I think we DID learn some stuff ... at least this is the way to NOT do it. Maybe do it with advertising? Advertise the video, then you will get more views? I won't pay for advertising though...
-
I'm in with the game! The next 1000 views should already be on the way I used the site "buyyoutubeviews.com" - panel is intuitive to use (to me at least) and they're reasonably cheap ... only downside is that I didn't really get the details of their crypto payments, so I used credit card... Imma see what they deliver, will be very curious.
-
Sweet! I will certainly participate in this experiment and will be watching with great interest. And you already have 197 views on the video and 111 subs at the time of writing ... I see that the account existed before, but I assume you didn't have that many subs before, right? The track is not bad by the way

He seems to use every synth only in one layer. And for every production he chooses a setup - that means he's never gonna use them all, only a select few. And the sound doesn't seem so special at first, I agree ... but as I listened longer, I started to get what it is about, the fine bits that you can only get right with that peculiar equipment... It's a whole different approach than to model everything in cubase and play every layer with the same synth (or one of a few). Of all, I like most the videos where he performs his own tracks in that manner because they show this exactly ... it also helps with the understanding of his synth concept: edit: the "E-Mu Emulator II" synth playing in that video is obviously really just doing that low-down "component" (no other word for it) on the bassline (most audible at the end)

Yes, I know him, good artist indeed. I'm kinda satisfied that I already follow him on Soundcloud ... here's his:
-
Man, that is an awesome idea. I'd be up for it, I'd buy him some views. I think now we only need him to agree and provide a track. Just imagine if we really get him to become a meme ... I mean, at least in the whole psytrance world. He deserves it by now, fair and square, after all these years.
-
Impressive! By the way, the RTP RECORDS offer still stands. You can send me some tracks on soundcloud for private listen anytime ... profile is: https://soundcloud.com/user-350524915

"this video is not available anymore because the account associated with it has been cancelled" You must mean that one: but other than that, yes, I second your expression ... hmmm...

I am back with this thread - and there is a reason: there's a new album out from Anthony Rother, released in January 2021 ... it's called "Weltmacht Digital" ... and interestingy, it's the spritual successor of "Netzwerk der Zukunft", the one that I posted last. https://anthonyrother.bandcamp.com/album/weltmacht-digital The albums "Hacker", "Netzwerk der Zukunft" and "Weltmacht Digital" form a trilogy ... or so I believe he said himself. I read it somewhere. I just thought I'll post this ... since the last one was liked by a few people. It's a brilliant work, very much in the vein of this "technology-critical" vibe that I like so much. I had the pleasure to drive to this full piece on the highway and it was just phenomenal, this work of art is just made for it ... let me just say, I felt that every single sound has its place - and the fact that the album repeats with different mixes is an awesome twist - I didn't even register that at first, I just thought "imma listen again", not realizing it were different mixes and thus (naturally) I found many different passages in the tracks ... got a huge smile as I realized that it were the mixes - Anthony did get me big time there I don't need to mention that I have stayed a huge fan of Anthony Rother and I hope I'll stay for a long time in this place because he'll hopefully be making more of this brilliant stuff By the way, there were also two more major albums by Anthony Rother (his upbeat side) in the last years, both very good - unfortunately I was too late to get a physical copy of "3L3C7RO COMMANDO" ... the other one "Cyberspace Reality" is just available digitally... I actually thought I'd hate digital albums. But that trip on the highway wouldn't have been possible without the album being digital (with this one really everything has its place). I will definitely buy the other one too

Well, I just like to experiment with thoughts like these, it's kind of fun. I don't necessarily believe that an AI is reading this thread ... would be a fun plot for a thrilling short story though. And no I don't know that concept. I might read up on it now that you mentioned it though. That's insane news! I'll be thrilled how this turns out. All the best and good luck for that On a serious note, maybe you got some unreleased material at KER that you'd upload for this experiment? Maybe not under your KER account though. OMG that was awesome - it just begs for a cheesy fullon remix ... but we can't, we'll get a strike, I'm sure of that... ... except if somebody wants to ask for permissions ... but unfortunately it's likely that for this you will not deal with those cuties but with tight-buttoned law people I'd still go with the plan to wait what anybody will come up with. If nothing else goes I can maybe try a Skeletone track. But that won't be psytrance.
-
Heh, that was fast Yeah the algorithm is cleverer than you think, it's got AI at its disposal and who knows what trickery is used to analyze the files ... as said earlier: Google knows this forum, the AI might even read this very thread and got ahead of your plan ... borderline scary isn't it? Although I'm not that serious about this I am sure an experiment can be done. Will also try to spread my antennas for this a bit...

Good one! The new track is actually quite nice I admit that I began to give Raja Ram a sort of "free ticket for cheese" (I'm not gonna be a superfan of him, but I find it amazing that he's still around) ... that isn't even necessary...
