  1. Orichalcum - Wicked Mille Very nice track, you'll definitly like his split album with The Deviant.
  2. You've entered a competition, you've automatically agreed to the rules by taking part of the contest, and now you want to break them? Why would you do that?!
  3. I still sniff around in record shops for soul & funk, sadly enough you can't do that any more for goa trance... The only cool thing I ever found was Chi-A.D.'s Infinitism in a record shop in Camden Town, it was laying around some metal CD's - really have no idea why.
  4. Artha - Insidelamp, again - that one melancholic melody is just so beautiful
  5. You were 20 minutes away from my home and you didn't say anything?! It would have been nice to talk to you! (edit: by the way, this is AstralCow from discogs ) I had to leave at midnight, damn exams.. Seems like I missed another great Old Is Gold!
  6. Just listened to it with studio headphones.. Didn't knew that I would notice this since I don't know a lot about mastering, but it's indeed true - it's really loud compared to other CD's or sources. But oh well, it's nothing that a volume button can't solve. The sound is crystal clear, and that's what is most important for music like this. There has been said a lot about Artha's music, so I'm just going to say what I feel: this is actually one of the few newschool releases that I see growing to be a classic! I stand very critical to the 'second wave' artists, not because I think that nothing can bring back 90's music, but because I think that it can be better, that music needs more personality and variety! You want to tell something, not layering melodies every 32th beat (gotta be careful what I say though, since I'm trying to make music myself ). And that is something that Influencing Dreams is certainly capable of - quite the understatement huh? Melodies, parts, a sound that stick in your head for days... Fantastic. I'm really impressed, it's been a long time that I was touched by a whole modern goa album, I think last time was Khetzal's Corolle. Hopefully I'll see him on a festival during the summer, I'm sure it'll be quite the trip...
  7. Nazi horse has your base, hahahaha. That Toasted vs Spade Buddha looks like night full on! Is it, by any chance?
  8. I never said that re-releasing a CD is something stupid, I said that it's probably less interesting for labels in a commercial point of view. You can't say that goa trance labels nowadays make tons of profit. But I wouldn't mind at all, of course. And yes, some things are as expensive as new body parts. But that's something that is part of collecting - also to find the goodies at a low price (and of course the necessary bragging to someone who paid millions for the same stuff ).
  9. Miranda - Phenomena: 20€. MWNN - Moment of Truth: 20€ KoxBox - Forever After: 14€ Chakra & Edi Mis - The Promised Land: 20€ -> considering they are at least in NM condition, so you surely can find them for less. And these are discogs-prices, which are most of the time way too high. Of course you should do that! I really don't see any other option, since there aren't a lot of oldschool albums at e-shops (like Psyshop etc.) available. Discogs and ebay are your friends. ^^ Let's face it, I don't think most labels would re-release an album for only a handful (compared to the numbers of full on/darkpsy fans) of goa trance lovers.
  10. Crap, I thought it was a party with Goa Gil playing oldschool, but it's the deco that's 'oldschool psychedelic'..
  11. Some albums mentioned here are still easily available at a decent price. Don't know what I'd like to see re-released.. Limited editions maybe, stuff that's handed to a few people.
  12. No, but according to the songs I have or heard, it's a bit overrated imho. For the same money I can buy more albums that are as good as IFO or even better. But oh well, you can say that about a lot of albums.
  13. Khetzal in a dark way? Sorry, but this just sounds like 'usual' Khetzal, only with his bass played an octave lower. Not that it's bad, on the contrary! Glad to hear from him again, sounds again like a proper melodic track. I'm not a big fan of the Filteria-loudness (only K.O.B. track I really like is Cousin It, that one is amazing!), but this sounds okay, have to hear the whole track though. Still eager to hear the whole compilation. ^^
  14. Love the House-like bass on this one. Another fine trancy tune! Seems like you got enough music to create an Acid-revival all by yourself.
  15. No problem! You don't know Discogs? Happy hunting! But beware, the more you use that site, the longer your wantlist is going to be
  16. Indeed! By the way, you can still buy some oldschool albums on the Phonokol website! Straight from the source for only 8$. You just need to know your CD's and shops/websites.
  17. Jaïa - Maï Maï (of course) SFX - Butterfly Trip (love that trancy stuff!) Chi-A.D. - Astral Warrior (that melody at the end is just amazing)
  18. I heard Innerpolarity when it came out and I liked it, but last Saturday I heard him live for the first time and he was cheesy IMO... Innerpolarity has some nithzo-elements, but it wasn't really over the top. I can dig nithzo, but this was just repetitive and 'typical'.
  19. Effectrix, basicly the same principle as dblue glitch, but much more user-friendly I think.
  20. Woah, some plans you've got! I wish you the best of luck!

    Virtuart - Drehkar

Virtuart - Drehkar Terval (8:33) Freetemon De La Gourgette (9:27) Un Petit Tour En Protomobile (9:34) La Skunk Duplakar (9:45) Leklips (10:22) L'Arôme De La Solitude (7:16) Gnothi Seauthon (7:18) Zouille Party (7:48) Brooding bass-lines go together with hard kicks, some good ol' acid-lines and Eastern samples here and there, ending most of the time with a melodic spread out climax. Doesn't sound that spectacular for goa trance, but the combination and the way it has been done is something that is still fresh and different. Non-cheesy morning trance for the tough guys. Freetemon De La Gourgette, La Skunk Duplakar, Zouille Party (first 4 minutes = acid playtime, then a lead comes in that lasts for the last 3 minutes, keeps flowing, keeps changing, aaah!) and Gnothi Seauthon are amazing tracks that really stand out. Only Un Petit Tour En Protomobile and Leklipz would stand better as a second or third track, that would have given the album a much nicer flow IMO.. Between 7.5 and 8/10
