Hey Yerg, I (Andy) am red/green colorblind, and green is particularly hard to see. While we were writing that track Dave color coded a bunch of midi clips with different shades of green just to keep me on my toes. I saw a lot of them as shades of funky looking grey (and some turned out actually to be grey), so we named the track in honor of the legitmacy of disparate modes of perception and all the associated fun things to think about. Glad you guys like the track titles! There are also little blurbs explaining (more or less) one possible interpretation or impression of each track included with the release as part of a set of printable posters made out of spectrograms of the tracks on the album. by the way, here is our bio: Unwashed Tomato is a collaborative psytrance production initiative started by Andy Aylward and David Mostoller in late 2006. Our main focus is creating an intensely psychedelic, groovy experience which is at once quirky and powerful, containing motifs from many musical traditions. Close attention is given to producing a complex yet cohesive sound while maintaining a clean and dynamic mix. Since the summer of 2008, the project has expanded to include frequent appearances by Rod O'Connor, whose unique sensibilities have contributed new elements to the project. Dave and Andy are the founders and managers of Unwashed Records.
