  1. Check for your self what you'd like & send me a PM & we'll "negotiate" , ok? http://www.discogs.com/user/Tox-cds I also have a LOT of non-psy-dance-music that might interest you...
  2. I'll be at this one 4 sure, got plane & entrance tickets already. Anyone wanna join us?
  3. come on guys, cut the crap & post some reviews ! Anyone got a promo of the new Element album on Avalanche laying around?
  4. As promised: a selection from our pictures online here http://www.psychedelic.be/coppermine/thumb...s.php?album=268 All feedback is appreciated
  5. Personally I would really like this site to come back to the old level of reviewing! I would never let someone else make up my mind for me, but I love to hear other ppl's opinion on a certain matter. Especially when it's about music I have strong feelings for (could be + aswell as - ) & it's nice to get some background info too. I understand that not everybody has the time (or skills) to write reviews like DP has been doing for so long. But even in 4 sentences you sat something useful, no? So imho you should NEVER hesitate to participate in the review-section, whatever your opion about that cd would be. So please keep'em coming, I'll keep reading'em
  6. Had a great time as usual! From Sunday-afternoon on the sun was really shining even enough to get a slight sunburn. Musical highlights included: JAIA D-NOX BECKERS LAURETH & best DJ-set was by Banel, who unfortunately had to play sunny progressive in rainy weather. Still kicking myself for missing Reefer Decree, but by that time even the grass had turned fluo, so I wisely had to get some multivitamins. C U there next year again for sure!
  7. Managed to get myself a nice deal at the VooV on Sunday-evening: sales from Spiritzone Rec. each cd at 5€/piece! Grey Area - Prenumbara : nice chill Timetech - Notes : great prog & Haldolium-side-project Electric Universe - Unify : finally some heavy trance-vibes & Gabriel le Mar - Hear & Now : cocktail of world/trance/chill elements so all 4 brand new & sealed for 20€...
  8. Everyone who's still got time to read this: Due to the MASSIVE amount of confiscated dope at Full Moon (> 40 KG!!!) there will be searches of cars & possible drugtests from drivers; both conducted by German police. So be smart & get there sober & thén go mental! C U @ the Proggy Pool
  9. As I said before, our pics from this all-in-all pretty nice festival: http://www.psychedelic.be/coppermine/thumb...s.php?album=265
  10. They also had some tracks come out on ZMA-Rec's that kicked some serious ASS.
  11. 100% with you on that one! Parasols over umbrellas !
  12. I preferr prog for most of the driving & maybe some uptempo stuff to keep you focussed & awake? PS I don't own a car myself, but always lo-o-ve to drive in Germany. I think it helps to understand the Hamburg-sound once you've been listening to it for 6hrs going 150km/hr on the Autobahn
  13. anyone got any wheatherforecasts? plz no rain ...
  14. I've more than once noticed that the 2 final tracks of an album/compil are often skipped by many ppl (incl myself) This can be because the final song is often (but surely not always) a chill-OUT song or cause cd's don't always get to play until their last track (in this case the "shuffel" function could provide a solution) So I bet everyone 's got some undiscovered beauties in their own collection ? On topic: Shiva Chandra - Karasu Tim Schuldt - Ohm Shiva
  15. First one who gets round to it can put up a sing at the meeting point/info board?
  16. Keep both the Shulman-cd's, drop the rest, buy a good discman & spend the rest of the money on traveling to an exotic location where you can grow old Nah: nice selection for sure but it's always better not to buy tooo many cd's at the same time cause otherwise some of them won't get the attention they deserve (imho)
  17. Think there's already a thread about this one? I'll be there for sure, friday till monday. come say hello at the 2nd floor!!
  18. I've simply lost count of howmany tracks there are using that sample from the Doors: "The dj's took pills to stay awake & play for 7 days" I can think of at least 3, of which 2 came out last years. & indeed don't get me started on Matrix, Fear & Loathing or chanting-samples. Cool samples are everywhere!! At Tshitraka everybody was playing this full-on tune "Tribal dance" with the vocals from an ANCIENT 2Unlimited (early 90's Euro-dance) track. Now the song was crap but thàt's an original sample.
  19. My thoughts exactly & I'm not talking only about vocal samples, also general sounds are being over-recycled imho
  20. I also had a very good time, even though the wheater was pretty sucky on Saturday indeed... Best live was Xibalba & best dj-set imo was DJ Magical who replaced Dimitri Nakov, but WAY more my style than Dimitri. Pretty disappointed at Haldolium who played a pretty soft set in front of about 1-200ppl... Will post my pics here to in a coupple of days, if you like... C U all @ VooV!
  21. Very nice & melancholic track indeed. Simply perfect. I also like the fact that they put it in the middle of the album instead of at the end like most of the time...
  22. Those of you who know anything of my WHISHLIST should be pleased to find out that I received a package in the mail yesterday containing: -Human Blue - Electric Roundabout (Spiral trax) -Vibrasphere - Lime Structure (Digital Structures) -Astral Projection - Astral Files (Phonokol/Dance City) -Ease Division : chill-Compil (Spiral Trax) Most of them I had in MP3 for a long time before, now I paid 40€ (incl postage) Feeling like this should last me for a while
