Yep, love them too, and I don´t say that because I´m German, no way. What I like about the German sound is that most of it isn´t that chaotic and overloaded with all kinds of sounds (although I can dig that style as well), but more organized and structured (should I say hypnotic?), leading you into a very deep state of trance, best example would be maybe "X-Dream- Radio" or "Midimiliz - Antistat"... well, actually there´re many of them. just a smartass note: Authentik are French

You are aware of the second album "Slotmachine" they released in 2001 on their own label Lecker records? It think it didn´t really get that recognition in the psy scene. Apart from that I´ve absolutely no clue.

You might be right, most psytrancers will probably bleed from their ears after listening to ant-zen stuff, Imminent Starvation is a good example. I stumbled over a long forgotten CD I once bought on ebay for a handshake and a penny with mainly industrial breaks on it, at least on the first CD, the second one is more mixed with industrial techno/trance but with breaks as well. You can still find it here .It doesn´t cost the world, so you have practically nothing to loose. Btw it was distributed by Nova Tekk

I can confirm that I think an equally important factor for their scariness is the surrounding you listen to this music. Some tracks I can remember that sent shivers down my spine on the dancefloor were: - On one of my first mushroom trips: "Technossomy - Synthtetic flesh", and although this is not dark or scaring in any way it managed to really scare me. - "Authentik - A10" under normal circumstances not really scary but with some shrooms ingested it turned out to be one hell of a mechanic distorted nightmare. - "Tim Schuldt - Ohm Shiva" in the middle of a forest made me quite trembling as well. - "MOS - Respirator" it was already dawning but still was not yet bright light, it was a pretty grey and foggy morning in a small valley surrounded by a forest, MOS were doing their live set, and when they played that track on a fucking big PA there was no doubt about it: This is going to be the end of the world!! Only some tunes that left an incredible scary impression on me while tripping on partys. But since I didn´t attend a lot of partys in the last couple of months I probably forgot about the most of them.

I bought "Darshan - Awakening" from Rishi and I can tell you he is a reliable seller, everything went just fine.

I just stumbled over a great release some days ago that certainly qualifies as experimental sounding minimal: "Mago - Definition of raw moments from a different perspective" (Ad Noiseam), I listened to it over and over again. This is possibly as deep and hypnotizing as it can get, sucking you right in, without getting boring at all. At the same time it´s quite melancholic, too. Very recommended.... I love it

hehe, that´s funny, I thought this was one of the more interesting releases sold on psyshop the last couple of weeks. Although it´s not trance it´s somehow psychedelic in its own way (at least for me). It takes you on a deep and apocalyptical journey, and there´s absolutely no problem listening to the whole thing in one shot. I think you simply have to get used to the industrial sound.

I can´t remember how firestarter sounds like, however, I remember that I didn´t like it back then. If you are not familiar with the following sites, perhaps have a look at them www.ant-zen.com www.adnoiseam.net you should be able to find some very heavy industrial breaks in there.

I´m perfectly aware of the possibility to sync the LFO to a midi clock, however, I thought there might be an easier way to do it... well, shit, doesn´t seem like that. Thanks for sharing your knowledge Negrosex

Is there any way to use the LFO on the Clavia Nord Lead as an envelope? On my Virus e.g. you can set the LFO to always start at the same position on the LFO-wave when you hit a key. So far I wasn´t able to figure out if there´s such an option on the Clavia (manual tells nothing about it). Can anyone help me out of this dilemma? I hope I´ve made sense here... Thanks
