From the top of my mind I think "Kooler - Open" would be a good choice, newer Iboga stuff as well, not really hard but with a good groove in it and quite slow. As Basilisk already mentioned, "Wireless" from Plusquam rec is pretty good, it might be a bit too rough though... I don´t know, never been to any fashion catwalk.

There´re lots of them on German eBay at the moment, perhaps you want to check...
-
This must be "Downhill - Silent City" (G+ rec) click me
-
Telepatu, I guess you started listening to Goa not long ago and only know the Killer artists, am I right? (no offence, just a guess) Otherwise I think you probably wouldn´t post such a statement. There was a time when a party wasn´t all about monstertune after monstertune but about a journey. And I think none who experienced a good party by dawn at that time would dare to post something like that. My opinion!

Best albums of 2004? LOL, you must be joking dude. Anyway, out of the ones you´ve listed I would choose "Aes Dana - Memory Shell", Ultimae rec never disappointed us so far.

Questions about "Full-on"
lumpi replied to Dj Atomix's topic in Music Making and Production/Industry
WTF? I hardly think you can categorize the styles by the structure of a baseline alone. I mean in each style you can find any variation you mentioned, it´s not only about the baseline. -
You will get it for free if you buy his album "Test". click here
-
Absolutely. And if you found Stereopark to be dark and harsh, you will probably wet your pants when listening to their previous album "Blast Food". IMO it´s even colder, darker and harder.
-
... a few more which have escaped my mind: - Spirallianz - Blast Food (how could I actually forget this one) - Fletcher Mundson Syndrom - Clubkraft - Platform - Hypnoplant - Insect Sun - Slow dive - Midimiliz - Antistat - V/A - Analog reflections Vol. 3 (Agitato rec) you might also want to check the two compilations from Moonflower records. Btw, isn´t Ant- Zen a German Label based in Munich? (just wondering)
-
Ant- Zen? Holy shit, now that has absolutely nothing to do with goa imo. But hey, I love Ant- Zen as well, so for heavy industrial influenced stuff I advise you to check the following: - The Delta - Send in... Send back - Authentik - Preamplified - 3.Turn - Explicit - PPS Project - AC vs DC - V/A - Eleventure (Horns and Hoofs rec) - V/A - Fundamental (Horns and Hoofs rec) - Opsis - Time means nothing - Opsis - The man and the machine - V/A - Clangour (Boshke Beats) and probably a lot more... Have a wild ride!
-
No way, it´s even better.

Imagine there´re actually people on this board who don´t limit themselves to only one style. Unbelievable, don´t you think? Sorry, but a seperation seems plain useless and unnecessary to me.
-
Anyone remembers Matsuris "Abstract Phaze" compilation? One of Matsuris´ best releases imo and definitely in my personal golden book of oldschool pearls. A hell of a psychedelic ride. Unbelievable it was released in 96. Beware, this can seriously fuck with your head!!
-
OK, I´ll try... "I know everything (everyone? fits better imo), every dot and every line... there´s only one I don´t know.... and that´s me" hmm sounds really stupid in English, or maybe it´s just my translating skills
-
Of course it´s about taste, as everything is, and I honestly have to say it´s not to my taste at all. I bought "Are you shpongled" because of the hype around this CD and I was so disappointed it almost made me throw the damn thing against the wall. There´s absolutely nothing in their music that grabs my attention, it just bleeps and blops it´s way through, I´m really sorry to say that... but who gives a fuck about my opinion anyway
-
Ahh, yes "TBS - Ich kenne..." is a cool track, that sample is just so funny, I had a good laugh at this one. "Ich kenne alles, jeden Punkt und Strich.. ich kenn nur einen nicht... und der bin ich" (something like that)
-
Yeah well, let´s not get into hairsplitting. I´m sure if you ask the people for a definition of darkpsy you will get as many definitions as there are users on this board. Because the boundary from one genre to another is only vague, you can´t draw a line between them. So, some may say that, the others might tell you something different. It´s always the same you know... "This is no psy, this is hippie disco shit"... "No fucking way this is X, but Y..." (to be continued). Let´s all agree, most releases listed in the poll is dark psytrance.
-
Then I strongly advise you to have a listen to their album "Cygnus Loops", probably you won´t regret it. k1mm0, yeah let´s hope they didn´t give the whole damn thing up. ........waiting.........impatiently.......
-
Just received "V/A - Wireless (Plusquam)" today and it´s a solid comp. Tegma´s new album is not bad either.
-
That´s not very hard, "Deviant Species - In the hands of the randomiser" does the trick for me. Entropy and NRS are not bad either.
-
Still no news??? Now come on... can´t be true
-
Sorry, no idea about the song, the soundquality is crappy as hell (or is it just me?). But maybe someone can help you when you say that there´s a sample in the song: "It´s like a flying saucer."
-
No, no edit, I think it´s there since day one, well since I registered here...
-
You´re right, but in fact that´s not the whole sample, it´s only a small part of it. You will understand when you hear the complete sample. Unfortunately I don´t know it by heart... else I would write it down.
-
I didn´t check your link, but this has to be "Asarualim - Synthetic Fruits", released on their album "No light without darkness". pretty weird sample by the way
