  1. Which tracks / albums are you talking about? His newer stuff or his older one? This may be useful to give you an appropriate answer. Perhaps it would be a good idea to check out some of his sideprojects: Auricular, Prime Time Plastix, ...
  2. I was just rediscovering this Quadra album called "Digital Stimulant", which I somehow didn´t like at all when I bought it, I actually found it to be pretty cheesy, but now ,5 years later, I have to say this is a proper PSYCHEDELIC trance album. I don´t know, perhaps it´s because I have a better sound setup than 5 years ago. Anyhow "The Witch´s Dance" is a pure joy to listen to, if you close your eyes you can almost see the scenery: A dark and foggy forest by night, the fullmoon shines brightly on a small round clearing, a bunch of witches stomping around a big fire celebrating a demonic ritual dance and every now and then bursting into insane, blood freezing laughter. I think this would make me go really gaga on the dancefloor. OK, perhaps I´m a bit exaggerating here, it´s not really that scary but it comes close. The track name fits damn perfectly imo. What are your thoughts on this one? Can you recommend similar tracks with that particular feeling? I mean not just dark and scary but with that somehow mystical bouncy touch. I`m afraid I don´t make much sense here, hope you´ll get my point anyway...
  3. Just rediscovered this one when searching through my collection. Somehow it still sounds refreshing to me after so many years...
  4. 25 years! sometimes feeling like 15 though, and sometimes like 85
  5. V/A - Mushy Mystery (Trishula) V/A - Boldly Audio (Sanaton) V/A - Fahrenheit Project Part 5 (Ultimae) But actually I was more listening to other genres recently, like: - Tiamat - Wildhoney (masterpiece) - Sisters of Mercy - First and last and always (masterpiece too) - Alice in Chains - Dirt - Converter - Exit Ritual - Letum - The Entrance of Salvation
  6. Damn, I just turned the whole room upside down just to find this CD , but there´s no information on what you´re searching for... sorry
  7. I have some extra copies of Pulse 1 and 2, Pulse 1 is in very good condition (almost like new) but Pulse 2 looks pretty used. Let me know if you´re interested. Otherwise I´m going to sell them on eBay.
  8. ... perhaps you want to check his homepage: Muslimgauze
  9. Damn, where is he? He used to have great taste and it always was a joy to read his reviews. Where has he disappeared to?
  10. I do, you can have a look at it here: my discogs however it´s far from being complete, a lot of older and newer CDs are missing. And mainly electronic music is listed there... so far.
  11. ... and if you haven´t checked out already then have listen to Timecode´s "Broken" compilation.
  12. Psy CDs should be around 900 I think, so all in all it should be about 1300 (CDs only). My vinyls you can count on 2 hands. I really have to cut it down a bit, because I´m absolutely running out of space in my room.
  13. I second that, check out their album called "Driving insane", apart from that I can recommend: - Ed Rush & Optical - Wormhole (their best album imo) - Technical Itch - Diagnostics (great dark stuff) - Panacea - Low profile darkness - Dom & Roland of course
  14. Good question. I`ve no clue, but I also like their older style better and am corious what their up to now.

    Dark!

www.psyshop.com www.trance-shop.com both located in Germany
  16. Damn, you´re right again. I was so sure it was on the "World techno alliance" comp from ZMA, but in fact it´s on the "Change" compi from Flow rec. Well, haven´t heard it in a long time, so... Anyway, great track!
  17. ukiro: "I have a pretty big collection (if I may say so myself) and I can find just about any record in 3 seconds... " You´re right, searching for a CD can be a real pain in the ass when it´s not all carefully sorted, but then again I´m just too lazy to start sorting them all.
  18. Ordering my CDs per alphabet or something like that would take me ages, they´re just too many... so I simply order them by "brilliant>good>mediocre>listenable>crap". The better ones being carefully put away in a case, etc, and the shitty ones floating around everywhere in my room. so I´m sorting them by personal rating
  19. Yes, it´s from Logic Bomb, I´ve got that track on the compilation from Psyforce rec named "Creation". Back to topic: my favourites: Secure the Orbs (love that elephant sample ), Kilobyte Bandit, Hydrophon
  20. A sample from the movie "Aguirre - The wrath of God", Tetraktys used it in his track "Atrophy". It´s in German but could be translated like "I am the wrath of God, the ground, I walk upon, sees me and trembles"
  21. Yep, have to agree here, where will this end if they already start like that? Their new comp "Mushy Mystery" is absolutely mindblowing, probably one of the best dark psy CDs I´ve ever listened to. Megalopsy is a bit too normal full on for my taste but there are some great tracks on it for sure. Keep going like that Trishula!!
  22. Call me an idiot, but I bought this album only for the cover, I instantly fell in love with it The music itself is nothing special really.
  23. Has the Cybermancy album been remastered in any way?
