  1. Nice review. So what´s left to say? This, along with R.A.M., has to be the best album I´ve bought in a while (and I´ve bought many ). Very driving and pounding tracks with nice percussion work, even kind of full on in some sort of way, yet quite minimal, dark and techy. I like this album even more than their previous one, it´s more energetic. Thank God that there are the guys from Ambivalent recs who have never disappointed us so far. Huuuge respect for this release
  2. OK, Alek you were a bit quicker than me but we wanted to say more or less the same...
  3. Maybe nobody mentioned it because it´s not worth mentioning it at all (at least for my taste). Their first album was nothing but brilliant, the second was a bit much of clichee but still not really bad, however their new one is plane boring, many of the tracks sound too much like any israeli full on these days. Of course you can read the familiar "killer" statements on Isratrance like on almost every sh## that´s been released. Am I sounding a bit harsh here? Well, didn´t meant to be...
  4. Ok, it just popped into my mind: track 3 is "Cydonia - April Fools", perhaps not really that known, I don´t know
  5. I really doubt that Tim Schuldt was involved in any of the first two tracks, sounds extremely cheesy if you ask me (Nitzhonot?). The last one is a quite known track but I can´t recall the name. Sorry, no big help
  6. That´s in fact a really nice and floating track, it was released on the "Abstract Phaze" comp from Matsuri records by the way. Maybe you want to check "Asura - Code Eternity", I can´t recall exactly how it sounds like and am too lazy to search for it right now, but it could be similar to what you´re searching for: nice, acidic, morphing, rather slow... have a listen to it
  7. I guess your only chance is to check eBay regularly, I´ve seen it about half a year ago on German eBay. It was sold for 30- 40 Euros if my memory doesn´t play tricks on me. So... good hunting
  8. You have a point here Redeemer but you see my connection is not very stable, it wouldn´t be the first time that the modem simply stops to receive or send data, so in the morning I would wake up just to see that everything is more or less the same like how I left it when I went to bed. That would really piss me off, because I would have to pay the time I´ve been online anyway.
  9. Now that´s really nice, be sure I´ll contact you again when I´ve made my choice (concerning the tracks).
  10. I see your point Spindrift, however you might not consider that there are still people (including me) who only have an analog modem. You probably know what that means, I mean fuck, I just don´t want to spend the whole day in front of my PC. So perhaps you want to add an extra option, where people can order a CDR with the tracks they would like to have. Of course they would have to pay a bit more for that. I can´t speak for all the others but I surely would appreciate such an option. Needless to say that this would be bit of extrawork for you (depends on the number of orders) so it´s up to you to decide if you have the time to do it. Just my 2 cents to the whole story...
  11. Sounds absolutely great indeed, finally they managed to include a digital in/out and a USB port. I think the Virus C looks much better though (look at those ugly side panels), however that´s not what really counts.
  12. hey dr papa, a giger fan too sorry, off topic here
  13. I´m with you L25, I really love the dark pounding minimal sound as well. But I enjoy some other psy genres as well, so it´s not a really dramatic problem for me. There´s no use being depressed about it anyway, maybe the number of minimal releases has decreased, however it´s not necessarily the worst because back then almost every stupid fuck produced some minimal because it was cool or in to do so. They flooded the market with lots of crap, just like it´s the case with full on now. Nowadays only the ones who really are into the minimal sound do produce it. And that´s good, if you ask me. Maybe you have to look a bit harder for it but you can still find some rocking minimal.
  14. I have no clue why it disappeared, maybe because people got fed up with those screaming acidlines and were longing for something different. I personally really love a decent use of 303 sounds. However when the tracks are too overloaded with it, it can make you go up the walls, especially these high pitched acidlines.
  15. For me it has to be Darshan - Awakening Technossomy - Synthetic flesh (only have it on vinyl) I´ve been looking for them for ages
  16. My vote goes for: Neser D.N.A. - My name is bruise (this one takes no prisoners, simply monstrous) The Delta - Def by Delta part II (I love the atmosphere of this one, gives me the shivers) Boo Reeka - Snail (well, a dark and hypnotic stormer) I also think Kent and Triplex are quite underrated, they´ve got some very minimal and powerful tech monsters imo.
  17. Buttrock goa, hehe nice.. I think you just came from Ishkurs guide to electronic music, right? OK, I guess you already know the older ones, so... DJ Turn - Future Shock (V/A - Kick Off 2a.m. - Spontaneous rec) you might also want to check "Total Hyperactive Detonation - Rampage (Ritter rec)"
  18. Hi all, I´m planning to get myself a Waldorf Micro Q but I´m still a bit uncertain wheter it would be really a good idea. So... - ...what are YOUR thoughts about the Waldorf Micro Q? (Pros & Cons) - Is it useful to buy one at all if I already have an Access Virus C? - And last but not least, do you think 300- 400 Euro would be a good price for a used one in good condition? Thanks for sharing your knowledge
  19. Will there ever be a CD release, too? Or are you limiting yourself to release only mp3 versions? Somehow I can´t deal with mp3s, I simply don´t like them. This Datakult project sounds very interesting by the way, I really loved the Droidsect sound. Well, sounds very interesting in general
  20. there´re way too many indeed, but in the last few days I quite enjoyed the following: Heliotrope - Lazy bones Sensient - Phobial Metronome - Too rough to cough Fusi & Johnson - To fly Igneous Sauria - Crying chimney rombolette
  21. OK, I tried to remove it but there´s no way, or at least I wasn´t able to do it. First I unscrewed the deck and took a look inside, yet I couldn´t reach the two clips which hold the jogwheel in its position, I would had have to remove the plate but once again there was no way to remove it entirely. Second I tried to simply pull the jogwheel off the deck -> no fucking way So in the end I think I will simply leave the dust where it is... But thanks a lot for trying to help
  22. Yes, just give it a try, it´s just MY opinion, and as we all know taste differs ;-)
  23. "Shiva Shidapu - Power of Celtic", I think it´s awful but eventually that´s what you´re looking for. :-)
