You guys should do yourselves a favour and go get their first album "Antistat" as well, I somehow like it better than their sucessor... I don´t know... "Non standards" is quite good, no doubt about it, but it sounds kind of fluffy to my ears compared to their first one.

I´d go for "Life is..." and "Stratosfear", never was too fond of the "Too pure" track.

Creamcrop rec once released a compilation with a race game on it, I think it was called "Space Haste", for each level of the game you had a different track of the compilation playing. I only played it once or twice though since I´m not really the computer game kind of guy. The compilation it was on was called "The next levels".

Have you checked "Deviant Species - In the hands of the randomizer" then? It´s not that new anymore but it´s a rocker, not really full on and not really proggy either, something inbetween I´d say. Another good one is "RAM - Efficient chips", good stompy full on, yet not the usual one (not that new as well). Other albums: Ghreg on Earth, Procs, Derango... Have a wild ride

IMO there´s no real beginner goa, it depends on the individual really... I personally got hooked on Goa when I heard Matsuri´s "Abstract Phaze", it was just so.... fucking weird music. I never was too fond of MFG and the likes, I found it way too cheesy, even back then when I still had no idea of what goa is. Ask the people what background in music they have and choose what you play to them accordingly.... if they´re into metal play them some darker stuff.... if they´re clubbers/poppers, etc play some more melodic and fluffy music. 0,02$ ... and please, for God´s sake, stop turning this place into a kindergarden!!!!

WTF? LOL, now that´s hilarious, really. Why should I give a f*ck about who she is and what she´s doing, I never heard some good music from her, I didn´t even know she existed until now. And if it is an Alter Ego... so what? Where´s the problem? I won´t listen to the music just because there´s a girl behind... if the music sucks it sucks, and if it´s good it´s good... simple as that. I´m just listening to the new compilation from Mistress of Evil "Trauma Trance", there´re some nasty stormers on there but there´s one track that just knocked me over in particular: "Xyla - Cyrene´s Ghost", listening to it the third time in a row now, and it simply ROCKS !! Massive and hypnotic darkpsy with a cool atmosphere. On the cover it says produced by Miranda Collins, so my question is: Who is she? And has she released some tracks somewhere before that I missed?
