  1. I remember I've seen her before and what brought me there was this little gem which left me even more amazed. Skip the first 3 minutes... Lifa - In Maidjian
  2. Well, off the top of my head I can recall this one It was released on Hadshots' "Heavy machinery" compilation. Maybe you wouldn't really call it proggy nowadays but it was considered kind of proggy back then.
  3. You're welcome. Have a listen to these as well: Geo - High Senses http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cDA2ohFD6NA Clean Noise - First light http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5F3l2nQyLI Ghost Rider - Having strain http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eix0X13AADQ Illegal Substances - Club sex http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IFA9oURPEOw Cheers
  4. Must have been the "Abstract Phaze" compilation (Matsuri rec) and the "Dance, trance & magic plants" on Transient. If I remember correctly those were the first CDs I bought, too. Sometimes I'd really like to reset my mind and discover this whole world of magic and mystery again and again. Oh what a time it was... http://www.discogs.com/Various-Dance-Trance-Magic-Plants-Otherworld/release/52155 http://www.discogs.com/Various-Abstract-Phaze/release/183452
  5. Maybe some of those will fit your taste, they're mostly not as dark though. 6. I sure as hell forgot one or the other great release but my list could look something like this: Haldolium - H2 Haldolium - Deagua Haldolium - Repainted Solar Fields - Random Friday Zerotonine - Cygnus Loops Loopstep - Coded patterns Beat Bizarre - Lewd Son Kite - Colours Haldolium - GLW / DRK Frogacult - Sky rocketeers There's no use denying it... yes, I admit, I'm a Haldolium whore :-)
  7. I wonder why no one has mentioned "The Delta - Minusman" yet. I think it's as good as "Send in... send back" http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/won/won1cd003.html The Horns and Hoofs compilation "Eleventure" also used to be one of my favourites when it comes to banging techtrance. http://www.psyshop.com/shop/CDs/hah/hah1cd002.html
  8. Exactly the same happened to my copy, it turned all hazy and didn't work eventually. Luckily I could rip the majority of the tracks to my hd but not all. Seems like there was an issue with the pressing or something liek that. The horror for every collector...
  9. Is there a chance to download this elsewhere? I have no account on facebook and I'm not planning to create one either but I'd love to hear those mixes ;-) Cheers
  10. Same happened here to my copy of "Spectral - Diffuse". It became all blurry and could not be read anymore although it was stored in its digipack the whole time. Nothing ever beats my copy of "Aerodance - Some more sun" though, it split in two halves all by itself. Now back on topic
  11. Hm, seems I haven' been here for way too long. Is there still any chance to get this mix somewhere? Sounds interesting... Cheers
  12. You can purchse some copies on discogs pretty cheap On German ebay they float around in masses, too, at least they used to Their sound was quite unique I guess, check their side project Authentik.
  13. I can still remember the first time I heard it on a festival in 2000 on a huge badass system... on shrooms. Velvet mindfuck
  14. there're two Haldolium tracks in the mix, one is Diabolika, I can't recall the name of the other one atm. Be sure to check their albums "Deagua" and "H2", both top notch dark prog/psy. I never grew tired of Haldolium, two of my all time favourite albums, especially Deagua. the other stuff was more tribal... there was a lot of this stuff around 2000. Maybe check the first two "Klangstrahler Projekt" albums, just to toss in a name. edit: sorry, I just noticed you were searching for recent releases like this... well, good luck then
  15. maybe the term minimal wasn't picked wisely, basically I was just thinking of a more stripped down, less agressive and earpiercing sound, music that actually IS tranceinducing and doesn't make you run for the next aspirin. but that's another discussion
  16. maybe we can welcome the next minimal era soon. once the people were fed up with multilayered oldschool sound and there came the minimal and techy psy sound, now they're growing tired of all this noisy fullon... it all goes round in circles. I wouldn't mind personally...
  17. I'm not much of a suomi fan, soundwise. Usually it's not "deep" enough for my taste but more noisy stressful sound. Though there is the occasional release I can enjoy, the latest was the Tea Chairs 3 CD album. It definitely had its moments...
  18. Shanti Druid - Insect-A-Traction an all time favourite
  19. you can start here the thread is from 2006 but there hasn't been too much new psytech anyway check labels like Boshke Beats D:Drum (defunct since a long time now) Horns & Hoofs Creamcrop ZMA early stuff... just to name a few
  20. Mago - Definition Of Raw Moments From A Different Perspective can't find any samples unfortunately
  21. Zenon rec, no doubt about that you may also like: Various - Primordial (Bio-Sine rec) Anakoluth - Dwelling In The Void EP free download Anakoluth - Beyond Reach EP free download (hail ektoplazm:)) Solar Spectrum - Planes Of Existence (Free Freak Music)
