My words exactly... entirely. Sorry, but a lot of the old school stuff is way more painful to the ears than the full on sound nowadays imo. There is old school out there which you can´t play at high volume without making your ears hurt because of crappy mixing (e.g. too loud mid frequencies, which are really painful to your ears... or too loud highs). btw entertaining thread

I was honestly a bit disappointed with their album release, their compilation tracks all have been good or brilliant (thinking about their remix to "First Run" by Electric Ant). I´mean it´s still a solid release, but if you´re buying it because of their previous tracks on compilations without prelistening to samples you might get slightly disappointed as well.

How can you expect others to behave in a polite way while you´re not? Radi will learn that one day... I´m sure.

I got a bit bored with the progressive stuff lately and therefore slightly lost track of it and melodic progressive never was my favourite anyway. But perhaps "Gaudium - Nordic Nature" could fit your taste.

Hm... it´s rarely the case that I have the same opinion as radi but on this one I have to say I´m with him. Suntrip IS cheesy IMO, just got the Apsara compilation yesterday and I surely won´t listen to that stuff a second time, Filteria´s albums are not bad but still packed with cheese, I´m really sorry to say.

If my memory doesn´t fool me, there´s a track on Chi-A.D.´s first album "Virtual Spirit" with an American-Indian natives feel... I think it was the first track on the album and it´s called "Healing magic". And then there´s "Sonic Fusion with "tribal warrior" which has american-indian chants. Well I don´t know the tracks you´ve mentioned so this is just a shot in the dark.
