  1. ... do you know any? I just love the sound of a wolf or an owl howling used in an already dark track, it just adds this tiny bit of extra creepiness. So far I know: Tegma - Werewolf Flipknot vs. Jun - Working Secrets Can you add some more?
  2. I just noticed that my laptop is not PCMCIA card compatible, but it has an expresscard slot... so firewire is the way to go I guess. Anyway, how do I know for sure if firewire is available at all on my laptop? Sorry, I'm just bloody new to this sort of things.
  3. Thanks everybody for recommendations and advice, I really appreciate it. I'm a complete noob when it comes to firewire, so how do you connect the firewire box to the laptop if not via USB? And what connections do those PCMCIA cards have? I've heard that USB soundcards eat up quite a lot of CPU power, is it the same with these cards? Hmm, I'm still absolutely clueless what to take. I need it both for recording and for live.
  4. I finally bought myself a laptop to be more mobile with my equipment, now the problem is that I yet have to get myself a proper soundcard. On my old PC I used a M-Audio Delta 1010LT and was very satisfied with it. However, as far as I know there are no internal soundcards for laptops so I have to get an external one. What soundcard can you recommend me? Just assume that price doesn't really matter. And keep in mind that I've got some hardware synthies too. Thank you

  7. As I alreday said somewhere else this is deeply atmospheric and mystical, something you can't find too often these days. If it wasn't for the full on baseline in some tracks it would have gotten a 10 out of 10 from me easily. So if you're looking for full on for the night hours that actually tells a story then look no further!!! Highly Recommended!!!!
  8. I can fully confirm that, perfect deal all the way. Recommended Thank you
  9. Third trade with Tore, smooth deal all the way as usual, always a pleasure to deal with him. He even sent me some more money afterwards as the shipping costs were a bit higher than we arranged. Highly recommended Thanks Tore
  10. You should definitely take a listen to "Phatmatix - Sorcery", this is the best dark full on I listened to in a long while. It actually has some depth, atmosphere and even a dark mystical feel... melodic it is as well imo. My alltime melodic dark psy track: R.A.M. - Dreamcatcher
  11. hilarious!! you're really obsessed, aren't you? It really is beyond me how music can make you a better person but I won't burst your bubble.
  12. Yes indeed this is a very good album, some real classics on there, like "Fifth-dimensional craft" or "Warriors of light". Agree about the mastering though, the volume levels are all over the place if I remember correctly. Anyway, this is a good purchase...
  13. Have you heard the first Nommos album? I think this one sounds almost exactly the same. And as the first one this could get a bit boring as well if you're forced to listen to the whole album in one shot. Definitely not a must have imo

    Etnica - Chrome

I never got the hype around Alien Protein, never really liked it actually, whereas I quite enjoyed this one. They did a really good job on the remix of Nerve's "Nervous"... monstrous.
  15. Sounds like it's taken from "The Excorcist", don't know the track though, sorry.
  16. shitty 30sec samples, but better than nothing: amazon.de it's not on psyshop or saiko as it's not categorized as psy
  17. today must've been some kind of Christmas, really: V/A - Fahrenheit Project Part 6 (Ultimae) Human Blue - Misstarryas Xperience (Transient) Liquid Soul - Synthetic vibes (Iboga) V Tunes - Variable (Ear peak) Baphomet Engine - Baphomet Engine (Manic dragon) V/A - Psychedelic visions Vol. 1 V/A - Lithium Dreams (Starchild) Medicine Drum - Original face (CyberOctave) Sandman - Witchcraft (Avatar) Ubar Tmar - True (Matsuri) Man of the last 3rd - Evosonic (POF) V/A - Minimize to maximize (Minus Inc) Detritus - Thresholds (Ad noiseam) Wilt - Dark Meadows (Ad noiseam) Cdatakill – Valentine (Ad noiseam) Exillon – The keening dithers (Ad noiseam) Exillon – Prequiem (Component) Saltillo – Ganglion (Hive / Suspicious) Pridon – New Steine (Low impedance) Ah Cama-Sotz - Ghost in the Shadow (Spectre) last but not least the sickest of them all: Bohren & der Club of Gore - Black Planet (Ipecac) darkjazz anyone?
  18. Yep, and after some time of dislike you often you end up liking them the most.
  19. don't worry, from my experience pedro always answers your mails pretty quickly
  20. No CD release? I hope it will follow...
  21. actually, it's on Mushy Records, or is that a Trancelucent sublabel? If you want my opinion about it, skip this, it's not worth it. I mean maybe it's a bit different, yes, but it's quite amateurish as well imo. Sounds like he had some ideas and then just pieced them together one after another without any logical coherence. Or to put it in another way, it has no flow. And don't even get me started on the melodies... only one word: cheese. But that's just me...
