Guys, I'm looking for stuff in the vein of:

Procs - The Lonely Land of Tada
Kindzadza - Waves From Inner Space
Para Halu - The World of Peace
GOW & Metaloids - Tits on Fire
Ocelot - 9 lives
etc.

You know, the stuff that is dark (even better: forest-dark) and complicated, but after sounding random at first it reveals that it's quite gentle, very varied, clever, well arranged and at times melodic / musical. So, no Russian hardcore madness or Derango for me :)

That's the definition of Derango! :)

Here are some intelligent darkpsy albums you have to check:

Psykovsky-Debut obviously. The best dark psy album ever IMO. A product of a genius!
The Nommos-Primal Meltdown real ritual music
Polyphonia-Future World not a masterpiece, but mind expanding stuff
Mubali-Cats @ Play give it time and will show a true intelligent side
Datakult vs Baphomet Engine-Psytrance Is Dead! most of the Datakult tracks here have a very deep ''meaning''

for compilations check out Mushy Mystery and both parts of Deep Mental Trauma

I have become a huge fan of Para Halu's latest stuff ..check out

Para Halu - Wide Range

Very interesting album with lotsa variety...my fav is methedrine wave. Para Halu stands out from the rest of the darkpsy crowd with some intelligent music IMHO.

Also i found
Tutankhamon 9000 - Lost In Luxor very interesting

Hope this helps.

Parvati Records

VA - No Time No Space (2007)
VA - Turbulences (2008)

That's basically everything I listen to these days (from darker side). You may also like the new Kluster and VA - YggdraSounds, though there's Derango :P
