Review:

Well what can i say,This music is too good to describe in words,i own this cd

now for 8 years and it still sounds amazing they blend

psytrance,ambient,funk,worldmusic,etc..

I think Eat static are one of the best artists out there,i havent heard many of

their recent stuff, but i sure like their old cd's

(abduction,implant,B-world,epsylon)

There is no bad music on this cd,and its a MUST BUY for everybody, however it

might be very difficult to get a copy of this, when i bought it 8 years ago it

was already a problem, but maybe they rereleased it,anyway if u see it BUY it

This sure gets 10/10

Buy this album to raise funds for Aliens who are trying to save our

planet by abducting Merv Peplar & Joie Hinton so that we can finally

live in peace without these two horrible musicians. Hah, Hah!!! Humor

Tumor!!! NO! JUST KIDDING! I Really Like this Album thou it ain't as

good as Implant but still a very good choise for chill out moments

after listening 10hrs of FULL ON! psychedelic banging. This is their

first release so if you are a collector or your heart is crying back

to the years of glory '93-'96 you should propably buy this one!

ALARM!! ALARM!! If You Like albums released in '99 or after that

don't even bother to listen this piece of shit! Hah, Hah! Do not

underestimate the power of THE NASSE-SETÄ! Rating: 7.5/10 Hah, Hah!

I now feel a hole in this reviews page has been filled ! A true classic which

will stand the test of time - and I think that even those who like recent

releases and not the older goa style should atleast have a listen to this

because it's just clever beautiful music which did not have a genre it had to

fit into at the time of its release.

hear the middle part 'abduction' and feel very, very, VERY small... just

beautiful melody.. especially nice after the simply banging 'forgotten rites'

:) got it on vinyl, thank you record store :)

"Prana", "Splitting World", "Forgotten Rites", "Abduction"...

'These tracks alone makes the album worth getting' as 19837817 people said before me about good tracks that make an album worth purchasing.

But the rest is glorious too. The sound quality lacks a bit at certain points, but whaddaheck.

Solid old school Eat Static sound.

I'm not much of a reviewer nowaydays, but gotta still say this is some quality stuff!

I haven't heard anything better from xxxx-1993 period. This is absolutely alien made and sounds even now very accomplished and detailed. Full of nice melodic touch and really a great early psy-techno.

9/10

Gulf Breeze just has to be one of my favorite uptempo psychedelic tracks ever... amazing.

Also, Abduction I play quite a lot in chillouts, very emotional melodies in there, just wonderful.

The album as a whole is also one of my favorites of all time... :)

How did I miss reviewing this album after all these years? I don't know. This is an awesome album. There are tracks that, by today's standards sound awesome. How many albums can you say that about now days from back in the 1990 to 1993 era? Juno Reactor - Transmissions and Prodigy - Music For the Gilted Generation may be included in a very short list of other 1993/04 albums that were beyond their times. But Prodigy has not held up so well, in my opinion, with exception to a select tracks like Firestarter and Smack My Bitch Up, amongst few others. The only track I don't care for on here is Xenomorph, but it isn't bad. This is the best Eat Static album ever made. Furthermore, it may just be the best techno/trance/psy-ANYTHING album from 1990-1993 era. Not even Eat Static can top how infectious and kickass this one is in our time now, although their 2007 De-Classified album was good. Abduction is a classic. Buy it. Download it. Just hear it if you have not!

Favorite Tracks: 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 10.

I just hate reality so much when I listen to this, the universe it depicts is much too beautiful. What an amazing album, it implies a fact that is worth weeping over; that music like this probably wont be made again, because the time and circumstances that created it where much too unique to be resurrected. Like a childhood friend, I can't see why I would ever stop playing this album certain evenings.

Wow - this is from 1993 and still sounds amazing. Some of the samples do sound old but who cares if they create fantastic atmosphere. The cover could be more mature but it should not prevent you from this amazing listenning experience.
