Frontier Psychiatrist
come on, everybody know its: antix - twin coast discovery and a few others 347055 Yup, that's the winner. Not really psy i guess but a kick ass album. Another favorites include: Shpongle - Nothing Lasts Jaia - Fiction VA - Wild Rumpus VA - UNS2 JR - Labyrinth And that's about all. Very very dry year i think. Most of my list is not Psy at all

dmtree
And that's about all. Very very dry year i think. 347114 well, i wouldn't go that far - but i do think there are a lot of new, innovative artists and styles coming up - it seems to be a transition year, and makes me very excited. a whole new wave of extreme psychedelic (that will leave the so-called "dark" psy ashes behind) will blow your mind. i also foretell the return of kicking ol' 'psytrance' - stuff like that v/a wild rumpus, metal sharon, solid psychedelic music, no more cheese. and the return of progressive - a bit darker and techier, hopefully.. woot! Frontier Psychiatrist
well, i wouldn't go that far - but i do think there are a lot of new, innovative artists and styles coming up - it seems to be a transition year, and makes me very excited. a whole new wave of extreme psychedelic (that will leave the so-called "dark" psy ashes behind) will blow your mind. i also foretell the return of kicking ol' 'psytrance' - stuff like that v/a wild rumpus, metal sharon, solid psychedelic music, no more cheese. and the return of progressive - a bit darker and techier, hopefully.. woot! 347137 I forgot to mention the last Sensient album. I'd like to hear more of that style. Psychedelic but more subtle, with more thought behind the scratching sounds. And of course lots of power. Unfortunatelly the stuff that goes here in the night is just terror-psy. 150BPM with dronning bassline and weird FX. Behhh

Tox
My fav album of the year is most likely be Gaudium - Nordic Nature (Spiral Trax) : new sounds, new directions, great production & further more I really enjoyed: Tegma: Avant Garde (closest thing to "full on" I bought all year) Antix: T. C. D. Avalanche of Sound Vol 4 V/A: Lime light & in the chill department the 2nd disc of Tantra Trance compilation BUT: Element's new cd "Alteration" is still on its way... (too long already) & Freq will compile Set 6 for Iboga So autumn & winter might have some nice surprises Most promising artist: André Absolut

DETOX
A)Its still early for such a post since many many important cds are coming out in the next 50 days of the month like the new compilation from Nano,Neurobiotic,Alchemy and Exposure and some great albums like the Element one on Avatar for example. B)I guess you also have to wait for the more 'official' poll on Isratrance that i host every year
